We stayed here 2 years ago it wasn't great, but location is awesome. Came back for another stay and was pleased to see that the rooms have been updated. We are currently here and already planning our next visit. Family friendly and steps away from beach and boardwalk. Chairs outside your door to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

THERE IS NO CAFE. FRIED FOOD IS NOT A CAFE. The pictures of this hotel are Fraudulent and Deceiving. The hotel we stayed at is nothing like the pictures. The room had a broken TV, a broken air conditioner in the one room, the lights on the ceiling were full of dust and dirt, and water coming up from the floor of the tiles. There was NO TV (ours was broke), NO Free WIFI, NO Restaurant (unless you count a fast food place a restaurant), NO Room Service, NO Coffee Maker. Everything is run down and broken and unsafe.

This room was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The website totally lied about the description! I drove over to stay. It was so disgusting and dirty! A dirt hole! The door handle you could see through! Underage kids who want to party is who stays here! It’s in a good spot on the beach. I might as well stayed in an abandoned house! DONT STAY HERE

The guy in front desk was nice but the pictures of the rooms are very misleading and definitely do not look like the pictures from the website. Not worth the price. The sheets of the bed smelled musty and pots and pans were dirty. And there was no soap to wash dishes. It said free wifi but the wifi was password. There was no ocean view from the window. You had to go outside to see the ocean. It was ok but again not worth the price.

Henna was an awesome phone receptionist. Taking the time to answer questions. Honestly, after reading other reviews, I didn't have many expectations for this place. I can say that they are trying. The room was freshly painted. We had a great view. No bugs. It was clean. The door was secure, and I felt safe. Air conditioning was cool. The outside needs some TLC. We had a good stay. The town, in general, could use some sprucing up.

I can not say enough good things about this place. I wish I could keep it a secret just for my family and I but the staff deserves the recognition. First off let me say how AMAZING Jordan is. Offered my little group and I an awesome upgrade, allowed me to park basically in his spot so I could leave whenever and had a view of my car (thats important to me!) The suite was very clean, beds were comfy, blankets were thin but we always bring our own anyway. No view of the ocean but the moment you walk out of the fully air conditioned suite, you are right on the boardwalk, the Jersey shore Cafe is connected to the hotel, where the filmed Jersey shore is one block to the left. Casino Pier is maybe 4 blocks away, the beach is right there, and I'm talking the beach station with bathrooms and lifeguards. The roof top deck is perfect for the impromptu fireworks displays and all the people watching. The sky tram is going, the park is all lit up at night and the ocean looks like a dark abyss. We've already booked the room again for next month and I plan on going back again and again! Omg and a pod of sting rays went swimming by right in front of us when we swam in the ocean right in front of the hotel and you can see dolphins from the roof!

First the pros: This hotel has an amazing location. Right on the boardwalk toward the north end so a bit less activity on the boards. There is a nice size deck on the third floor level overlooking the boardwalk and ocean front. Our plans changed and the hotel allowed us to cancel our last night with very little notice. They also permitted us to stay with our dog, which was a big plus for us. Now the cons: The rooms are basic and clean enough (think motel 8), however, it is difficult to see them as clean because the entire place is so incredibly run down. The room had a dorm fridge and microwave. The microwave had dials and looked like it was a bargain buy from 1995. When we arrived we were given a key to the room. An actual key as if we were at The Stanley Hotel (The Shining). When we opened the door the striker plate for the latch fell off. The room had no hooks. Not one, and there is no closet. Only a single bureau with drawers. The dresser has veneer peeling off the top and front. The toilet paper holder was broken and the pieces were in the vanity. There was an obvious ceiling leak which had been fixed but the work, again, shottty. There is no elevator which didn't bother us but the stairs are made of wood and all have give or wobbliness while walking on them. The stair rails are all freshly painted but the paint doesn't hide the cracks and instability of the rails. I would not recommend leaning on them. You can see the "hack" fixes with L brackets and tape. Im really not sure how they passed any inspections. We stayed during the off season so parking wasn't an issue for us but the lot is extremely small. I don't know how they would fit more than 5 cars in there and have enough room to manuver. This place has such amazing potential. It is a shame that absolutely no effort is being put into updating and maintaining the building. As mentioned we stayed during the off season so I would expect to see some work happening on the rooms, stairwells or building facade, but that was not the case. It seems that the owners are happy with status quo. I recommend NOT staying here so that the owners realize the impact of a run down, neglected and potentially dangerous building.

It’s clean and it’s cheap for ocean front on the boardwalk AND MY LUCY DOG is able to stay with me and enjoy the beach! I love after Labor Day shore time it’s the best !! No traffic! Cheaper rooms!! Dog can partake and enjoy with me!! Beach is empty !! It’s such a beautiful day!!

This is the worst place you can probably stay at. We walked in and our bed wasn't even made, wet towels on the floor in the bathroom. Everything was rusted and moldy. They moved our room but the new room had visible stains and hair on the bedding, the t.v. didn't work, mold in the shower, and overall we just had little faith that anything was cleaned or the sheets were changed. The photos did not look at all like the rooms do. I would give less stars if possible. The owner did not give us a refund, but we didn't even stay a single night here out of the 2 we booked. We arrived late and the last thing we wanted to do was look for a new place to stay but this place was disgusting. They should honestly be ashamed of themselves for charging what they do. This place had a more "pay by the hour" vibe than a comfortable stay. I've never written a review but this was unbelievable.

The location is perfect---on the boardwalk and across from the ocean. We stayed in September so there was no noise form the boardwalk since it is beginning to close down and no crowds. Truly the best time of year to go. The room is basic--just a bed, fridge, microwave, bath. No shelves, drawers, dressers, closet, pictures, no place to hang a thing. Even the bathroom does not have a single hook to hang a towel, robe, anything. They don't even hang a toilet paper roll. That being said, it's one of those little shore hotels, so we don't expect mych anyway. The staff was very nice, location was PERFECT, and many of us had dogs, which is the sole reason we chose this hotel. I think $40 each night for our little dog was quite expensive--half the price of the room!! There are places to sit oustide, which is nice, and a whole terrace overlooking the ocean and boardwalk. Would definitely stay here again. They should just do a few little things that don't take much time or money, like even hang a few hooks, put up a shelf, etc. These little things make a big impression.

I’ve waited a few weeks to write a review so that I didn’t do so in true anger or disappointment…but I have to share…this property is not as advertised! When we arrived we walked up stairs (of which had a pillowcase with dirty linen in it)…we went into the office, the process felt rushed, there was no information given about the property or what it offered, which from the looks wasn’t much! The gentleman in the office then showed where to park and we made our way up another flight of stairs to our room. Outside our room was a pile of dirty towels and sheets…we entered the room and it was TINY! The bed appeared to be the insert to a sleeper sofa, the bedding appeared to be clean but when inspecting for bedbugs I noticed the mattress protector was FILTHY!! The AC wasn’t plugged in, the bathroom door didn’t lock, and the blinds didn’t go all the way down (without forceful pull), I went to the office to ask for wash clothes as we had none, was told they were in the dryer and they’d bring some up in 10 minutes, not even 3 minutes later we were provided wash clothes that weren’t even remotely warm (making me think we were provided the cleanest dirty washcloths they could find)…we already knew we weren’t staying our 2 nights reserved and paid for but thought we could tough it out for the night…nope! We couldn’t! While the room “appeared” clean…the more you looked around the more you could tell it clearly was not, a recycle bin for trash, and a lawn chair for seating…it’s a joke…not to mention the “guest” staying above us were soooo loud! This place appeared empty but yet we got placed below folks that were rearranging their room and being sooo loud! If you’re young, plan on partying on the boardwalk and only looking for a place to crash so you can get up the next day and repeat…this might be what you’re looking for! My husband & I drove from Florida to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and literally stayed 3 hours before checking out! The property did refund our 2nd night but refused to refund the 1st because we left after check in time! I cannot in good conscience recommend this property!!

TOTAL SCAM DO NOT STAY HERE. One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The pictures online I don’t even think are of the actual hotel. We booked the boardwalk hotel and when we arrived we were put across the street in some sands motel. We left that same night and refused to stay in the disgusting room. The price was completely ridiculous it was $400 for two nights and that was a $30 room. We have demanded our money back from them and are just being lied too. They have said they issued the refund 3 times now and nothing comes. This place is an absolute scam DO NOT STAY HERE.

It was iight lol we stayed over night while building a house for work. Rooms were small and weren't in the best shape. One room didn't have heat but two had some Jerry rigged electric baseboard to plug in to the outlet which were super efficient!

Actually i didn't go to the Hotel, vent to the boardwalk , was a nice day to talk in fresh air, bathrooms are still closed and it wasn't crowded, next Saturday will be jampacked because of the Saint Patrick's day parade 💚😁❣

Perfect for my family and exactly what we were looking for. My two sons and I booked the two bedroom apartment that has a kitchen/living room area for 6 nights. It was clean and the bathroom was new. The staff was always on the property and super nice/friendly. I was able to cook meals which saved me a lot of money and even though I brought my own, they had pots, pans, dishes and silverware in the room. When we left our room we were right on the boardwalk which was so awesome and the Beach entrance was right across from the hotel. Casino Pier and the water park was only a couple of blocks away. The parking lot is small but they have a lot right across the street which I actually preferred for my SUV. I would definitely stay here again.

The place could be an amazing place. Needs to be cleaned and upkept. I stayed one night. The location and view made it great. I would stay again because of location and one night was enough.

This place is NOTHING like the photos online. We got there and the 1st room was so small & cold. They moved us to another & it was so hot. Looked like a motel room you see on a lifetime movie where they traffic young girls. I was not staying here I called and got us a beautiful place on the beach in Pt Pleasant, thank goodness. Do not stay here! Unsafe locks on door. Looks like they can be easily kicked in. Maybe okay if you are a young teen looking for a 1 night crash pad. DISGUSTING AND UNSAFE!
