Rooms are huge, perfect size and location. The only problem was the beds were funky and smelly,the mattress dirty, old and stained. No mattress pads on beds, pillows were flat. I stayed for 3 nights and I couldn't wait to leave. There were no room service, no one bring towels or come to check if I needed anything. I just love the room size and location. The shower needs fixing work the first time I checked in after that I couldn't get the shower to run.

My son and i had a fantastic week at the Hersey. everything was so nice. The people who work there were outstanding! Great rooms and nice bar and good food. Very clean and tight! The pool was sparkling clear and fresh. We were so happy we stayed there! Looking forward to book next year!

Nothing is inherently wrong with this place. The bathroom area is decent, the room is spacious, the pool looks pretty nice, especially for kids. The problem is the beds. I honestly don't think they've been updated since this motel opened. I've never slept in a less comfortable bed. Me and my boyfriend both seriously considered sleeping in the car and regretted that we didn't in the morning. The pillows are so deflated, i didn't even know there was one under my head. You have to stack two to make one almost normal pillow and even then it wasn't enough to combat the way the bed sloped. I woke up with terrible shoulder pain and my boyfriend with neck pain. The blankets felt gross enough that we immediately took them off the bed, which is how we found the blood stains, and then we didn't even feel comfortable sleeping in the sheets. Overall a terrible experience if you care about a good, or even decent night's rest. I do. The water gets really hot as long as you let it run for a few minutes first, I almost gave up after minute three when it was still freezing. It's close to the boardwalk, but I absolutely regret my stay. Unlike the $69 deal it looks like they usually have, I wasted $170 here and let me tell you, I would not recommend this stay to my worst enemy. Again, that's only because the beds are unbearable. If they ever decided to fix that then it might be alright. If you can't stay anywhere else, bring your own bedding.

Absolutely in love with this little gem of a hotel! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Everyone is really kind and chill. Just stayed two nights with my young son and we had a blast. Our original planned vacation got cut short due to a family emergency, so I came in a bit bummed we wouldn't be able to make the most of our time. But! The location is right next to the amusement park, water park, mini golf, boardwalk, beach, everything, so we were able to do even more than planned. Our rooms were simple but very clean and had excellent A/C. The pool was my six year old's favorite, I think it's bigger than other hotels in the area that I saw, large pool deck and lots of families with young kids splashing together, and it's open till 9. There's a CVS a block away and from our room we could see the sunrise and sunset. I also recommend Jimmy's Breakfast for a diner breakfast. Perfect mini-vacation, can't wait to come back.

The owners of the hotel are extremely nice. It’s a family run hotel. The only little issue was the cleaning staff never gave out enough towels as we rented a 2 bedroom room which accommodates 6 people. The location is perfect and the hotel has a nice pool.

Been coming here with my wife and her family for 5 years now they have been coming here for 20+ years. Love the location only 2 blocks from the boardwalk short to moderate walk to most places around the area. Never disappointed with the room conditions they are always very clean! The staff is wonderful and always in such a great mood I will always return to this place!

Location is great. Price was reasonable. Issues are: beds are rock hard, pillows are as flat as a pancake no mat in bathtub it is very slippery and dangerous when in shower, no grab bars in shower either. That is a accident waiting to happen. The TV is super small and no pay channels. Other then that it was ok. But please....... change those mattresses!!!!! Customer's pay good money to stay here. We deserve comfortable beds!!!!
