This place is great. Exactly what we were expecting. The pool is actually heated, the breakfast is generous, free coffee and cookies in the lobby, the staff are all very kind, the room was enormous, the beds comfortable and cozy, and the we even had a jacuzzi tub. Oh, and our “Partial View” was great - kinda nice to not have the sea breeze blasting right at our little patio. The location is unbeatable. We were able to park the car for a couple nights and just enjoy all that downtown Seaside has to offer. It is an older (well-loved) building, and the floors and walls are thin - just bring ear plugs if this is a concern.

The staff was great and friendly always willing to help. The location is fantastic, parked and checked in and walked everywhere, never had to get in the car to go anywhere to enjoy ourselves. The rooms were very dated and the beds uncomfortable but very clean. Breakfast was good for free breakfast! Something for everyone to eat. I could only really hope for a balcony but the beach view was fantastic.

Room was very comfy except for no AC. The fan didn't keep us cool at night. The beds were super comfy though. Had a nice little deck that gave us view of ocean which was a pleasant surprise. Fridge , microwave and sink in room was nice. Pool was good except the pool deck surface is little rocks and it hurts your feet so wear water shoes or something. Little hot tub was nice too. Hotel was right on promenade facing the sand grass and ocean. 1 min walk to beach. Hot cookies in the lobby in the evening along with a ton of activity books for the area. Front desk very friendly. Breakfast was really good, waffles, yogurt, toast, fruit, bacon, eggs, bagels etc Take and go breakfast was nice except if you don't get house cleaning daily you end up with too much garbage. No daily cleaning is frustrating. That being said would still stay here again maybe pack a fan.

Can't say enough about how welcoming and accommodating the staff are there. Was there to celebrate my husband and sons birthday's and they made available a birthday package that was delicious. The full view of ocean and beach from our room's big picture windows was beautiful, and windows opened so we could hear sound of ocean. Wonderful to go to sleep to! And it was wonderful to have a gas fireplace, wonderful to warm us and to watch. On the down side, I definitely advise them to put in new, modern toilets. Now I know where the name "going to the can"came from! It was like sitting on a can it was so small! But affordable and can't beat the view and hospitality. I would stay again.

Everyone was very friendly and professional. They make sure your stays enjoyable. Everything was working and clean. Things did not go as planned this morning with having 2 kids in the mix so we were not going to make the 11am check out. Front desk gratefully gave us an extra hour to check out. That was very much appreciated. I will stay again. Love the view especially watching sun go down. The red head lady on staff is absolutely beautiful and very nice.

This was a surprisingly great stay, I mean that only because the price was lower than anything else we found near the beach. It was wonderful. Staff were always helpful, 5 steps from the property you’re on the beach, included breakfast was remarkable. Rooms were very clean. They were doing upgrades while we were there so some carpets had been pulled up but they’re work was never disruptive. Looking forward to visiting again when the updates are completed. Oh ps, cookies each day at 6pm & salt water taffy always available.

My husband and I were pleased with the friendliness of all the staff we encountered, from the young man who checked us in to the young lady who checked us out 5 days later and the housekeeping and maintenance workers in between. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. When we had an issue with the toilet, maintenance was very prompt about making the repair and the young man was very friendly. The reasons for 4-stars and not 5-stars are primarily for the following: I have mobility problems and we stayed in a handicapped room, not only were there not enough parking spots for the number of rooms, but there was only ONE handicapped parking space. I don't know how many handicapped rooms they rent, but there either needs to be more handicapped parking or there needs to be parking dedicated to specific handicapped accessible rooms. Of the four nights that we stayed, there was only one night we were able to park in the handicapped parking and one night we parked in the actual parking lot. The other two nights we had to park off site. Second, the breakfast had a good selection, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast sandwiches, a pancake machine, fresh fruit, fruit juices, with milk, yogurt, boiled eggs and coffee however, the morning my husband selected cold cereal for breakfast, he ending up pouring curdled milk onto his cereal and the next morning the breakfast sandwich he got looked and tasted like it had been reheated multiple times. Perhaps the breakfast sandwiches should be available to be heated as they are selected by guests so they are heated fresh and not sitting and drying out or reheated the next morning if not eaten on the first date. Finally, the pool was very nice, a little cooler than my liking, but the towels were nice and big and soft, the hot tub was nice. A warning when selecting the handicapped room, Room 100, is right near the pool and between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 pm the door frequently slams as kids run in and out and yelling and screaming can be heard from the pool room. Thankfully once the pool closed at night things quieted down. If we had known the proximity of this room to the pool we would had made sure to request a different room. I'm just thankful my mother didn't join us as originally planned as she isn't near as laid back as us. Finally, there is no air conditioning, which the first week in October isn't a big deal, but the room became stuffy due to the fireplace pilot light and the patio sliding door did not have a screen, we didn't experience a problem with flies or mosquitos, but wonder if this is a possible issue in the summer. The room had a great floor fan. The hotel is pet friendly, and there are no signs directing hotel guests to "potty areas" so the smell of dog urine was strong in some walkways. Overall, we would consider staying again, but we would want a different room. We wanted a room with an ocean view and the "partial view" provided a nice view the sand dunes behind the promenade, no water view though.

The staff here is amazing! Jennifer was friendly, personable and fun! Not to mention, I love her name 😉 The room with a partial view was amazing and prefect for us. The fireplace was a nice touch to add some romance to the room. The staff really wants to make you happy. The breakfast was...OK. the sausage biscuits seemed like they had been sitting too long. But there was also pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Also cereal, hard boiled eggs 🥚 and yogurt.

Excellent. Very convenient, Great location, right on the boardwalk/promenade. Easy check in and check out. Very nice people. Good parking. Nice breakfast in morning although you need to take back to your room to eat. Also, no AC just a fan. However being ocean front, it cools off quickly. Would definitely stay there again

This is an older building. But it was perfect for use. Every staff member was great. They were so nice and friendly and so pleasant. There breakfast was pretty darn good. It is perfect walking distance to every thing. Down town scenery shops . Its perfect if you want a couple drink and walk back to your room. And it is right on the beach You will not be sorry for choosing ebb tide..

Amazing view! Overall the place is good, right next to the beach with very friendly management. Our view from the room on the 3rd floor was mesmerizing. Ample parking spots. The place publicisis itself as a pet friendly place, but there were a few issues. First, my cat wasn't comfortable on the carpet. Probable he was able to smell previous pets. Second, our room had a gas fireplace with no pet friendly screen. To me it was not safe. And third, while the view from the room was amazing, they did not have any screen. So I was not able to open the windows and enjoy the breeze without risking the safety of my pet. If you're a pet owner or have a small kid, watch out for these things. To hotel's management, I loved your place and would love to visit again, when it gets more sunny. But I would love to see the above issues taken care of to make it a comfortable stay for all pet owners. :)

Loved this place. Location was perfect for a walk on the beach or to restaurants or shops etc. Check in was a little confusing and our room got mixed up but front desk fixed it quickly and got us an even better room with a view. It fit our family perfect with a two bedroom set up so the grown ups could still have some privacy. Beds and pillows were so comfy. Large selection of channels on tv and cute little basket of things for our pup was provided. The room had a small kitchenette and good size fridge. Shower was hot and I loved the in-shower soaps. It was just an awesome last minute stay in seaside and I hope to be back. Also, the yummy complimentary cookies in the lobby!!! Didn’t get to check out the pool and Breakfast was the only portion that could use a boost.

I was really impressed by my stay here. It’s not a swanky new building, but the owners/managers have put a lot of care and time into it. The pool and hot tub were lovely and the perfect temperatures. We had a fireplace and kitchenette in our room, and a large, comfortable bed. The water pressure and hot water were outstanding and better than home. Our room came with a little pet package with a sheet for the bed and treats, which was an adorable touch. It’s so close to the beach and all the main street shops and restaurants. The included breakfast had a pancake machine, biscuits and gravy, and ready-made breakfast sandwiches. Overall, could not have been happier with our stay. 10/10 recommend, especially on a budget.

The rooms were very clean and all the employees were super friendly and helpful. Each room comes with a box fan, which is nice for people who need the white noise to sleep but also there is no AC so putting one in the window helps cool the room off. This place is right on the promenade and if you get a room on the second or third floor, you will have an ocean view. Our room had a kitchenette. The beds are super comfy. My favorite thing was sleeping with the window open and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. The continental breakfast was pancakes, biscuits and gravy, muffins, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, coffee and assorted fresh fruits. The pool and hot tub area was very clean and decent. The hot tub could easily seat 6-8 people. The water was clean. This location is in walking distance from downtown and the paddle boats. It's also very pet friendly and provide treats and a towel just for the fuzzies. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying here again I'm the future

First reservation was made prior to arrival. The reservation was made with no problems. Including our party number, pet, and arrival date. Upon arrival, checking in we were greated by a lady who was a little less then short with us. When vehicle information was being taken for record, we informed them we had two vehicles. The response we received, was you can get one parking pass now, and to come back tonight for another IF there is enough. After receiving this information, we made a phone call to the manager asking about the said information. He then stated there is only one parking spot per room, including one ADA parking slot for one ADA room. Which was vital information, considering the other vehicle has a ADA Pass. Just For clarification, we asked if this information is written anywhere for knowledge. He stated it is NOT. It is not on the website. The room was a basic room, fitted for our family. Fireplace in the room, room with a view, no air-conditioning. The Pool and hot tube looks dated. A good clean and update would do it good. Basic room for the area. The price was reasonable. Pet friendly.

If you are looking for fancy, this is not your place, however, if you are looking for close to town and beach and like a basic but clean hotel this is certainly your place. We have stayed here for 5 years over the November long weekend. They have made lots of improvements over the years. Staff are great, rooms are very clean and the bed is comfy. If you have a pet they will give you a blanket for the bed or portion of the room so the dog can lay down. There is a microwave and sink in most rooms. The free breakfast is good, some hot options and some cold options. The kids live the pool and probably spend way too much time there! Most rooms have a view or bit of a view of the ocean. We love it here and will continue to stay here for the years to come.

I would say it's a Family friendly hotel, this place offered breakfast, if you wake up early enough 😉 They have jacuzzi and small-family swimming pool. If you get an ocean view, and stay couple nights, it's worth it. Cleaning service did a great job, replenished everything that's been used. No major complaints, other than a loud fan in the shower room, sounded like a food grinder. Room 215 😉 Will come back for more stay in the future 👍

Pros: We loved the view, the proximity to the beach, the warm cookies in the lobby and the s’mores beach bonfire add on was so lovely. We had a kitchenette and it was really useful for meals. Breakfast was better than we expected. Con: No AC wasn’t really an issue for us because the breeze from outside cooled our room down— however, people were constantly smoking below our windows and the people below us were smoking in their room so our whole room stunk like cigarettes/weed most of our two night stay. While I understand everyone wants to enjoy their vacation— That wasn’t really ideal or enjoyable especially with an infant and a 12yr old. I wanted to love our stay but that put a damper on the nights we spent there. The front desk did seem to address the issue of the people in the room below us when we spoke to them about it.

Rooms are nice and big, you might call them dated, I'd say traditional. Fireplace, no air conditioning, gorgeous views. Front desk had free saltwater taffy and oatmeal raisin cookies at check-in. Overall totally worth the money. The breakfast is decent, but you have to bring your food back to the room which is fine.

The Ebb Tide offered many luxury touches that made our experience lovely: robes for each of us; glass tumblers with the ice bucket instead of disposable; ceramic coffee mugs instead of paper; French press coffee; lotions and makeup cloths and fluffy towels; a fireplace! We loved the decor and were very comfortable.

While the facility is a little dated, it has a ton of amenities (pool, breakfast, fireplace, cookies, etc), it's clean, and you can't beat the location! There are a variety of room types to fit all sizes of family/groups. All rooms have a fridge and microwave but some also have kitchenettes. There are also views from nearly every room! The beach is 5 steps away, the aquarium is next door, and you can walk to restaurants, shops & activities within minutes. The staff is always friendly and super helpful too. We love it here! This is one of our family's favorite getaway spots!

  • 5/5 Sarah F. 8 months ago on Google
I know people are complaining about the dated looks of the rooms, but we didn't have any issues with ours. The room was exceptionally clean, and the views are top notch! Devon at the front office graciously upgraded us from a partial view to a full view. Take the full view!!! Sure it's more money, but oh boy it's worth it! The location is also great! Right on the prom, and next door to the aquarium. Oh and can we talk about the shower? The water pressure was luxury! Also if you get a corner room, your shower has a window looking at the ocean. Don't skip this place!

Like most have expressed this place is dated/needs some work but it makes up for it with it's location, large rooms and cleanliness. The pool area is a little run down but the water in the pool is actually WARM! So nice :) Also when I read, "grab & go breakfast", I was assuming something like packaged muffins and fruit. To my surprise they had a full breakfast with many choices like eggs, bacon, cereal/oatmeal and bagels; you just have to take it with you as there is nowhere to sit in the breakfast area (they provide trays to carry your food). Thanks for a comfy stay :)

I absolutely LOVED this place!! It's right on the beach with the grassy dunes in between, right next to the city little aquarium, and on the beach strip just down from the shops! The rooms are cute, clean, SUPER dog friendly!! They have a wash station for dogs outside and they give you a little care package for your pooch, which is such a nice touch! They also have full kitchenettes, a fireplace with fake logs, they even give you a new sponge and dish soap which we needed for our dogs. They have great water pressure with really nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash pumps that don't dry your skin or hair which is really nice. The customer service was great. They have cookies at 6pm and breakfast in the AM... So very pleased. Highly recommend. Great prices. Can't beat it.

  • 4/5 Kate M. 11 months ago on Google
It's a little run down, but the people are super friendly. There is a full kitchen with pots and pans, as well as silverware and knives. They supply kurig coffee from Portland and have a very generous walk in breakfast. It's steps to the beach, and many rooms have an ocean view. Overall, we'll come back again!

  • 5/5 Nick W. 11 months ago on Google
10 outta 10. Partial view rooms are still really cool. Beach is less than a minute away. I had a corner room and it was great because the room next to me was a room used for cleaning supplies and stuff so it was extra secluded and quiet. It's not a fancy newly built hotel but it's a GOOD hotel. Great vacation. Literally already have plans to stay here again.

I only stayed here one night but would have loved to stay longer. The service was top notch, and the nice touches like cookies in the evening and taffy and grab and go breakfast were a very nice surprise. Breakfast is standard with fruits, muffins, sandwich, yogurt, eggs, oatmeal, coffee, etc. I enjoyed it and it was nice to bring it back to my room. The wifi was somewhat slow, but perhaps that's just where my room was, across the street in the back. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and perfect for the price point. The hotel location is amazing, right on the beach and downtown area with shops and restaurants. I loved My stay here and would absolutely stay again.

  • 5/5 Tracy L. 1 year ago on Google
Friendly, informative staff. It's an older building but has nice quiet, clean rooms. Dogs allowed but left ours home. Pool, hot tub & breakfast areas were all clean. Just steps from the beach. Many restaurants within walking distance. Parking was good. We'll be back!

  • 4/5 Da G. 2 years ago on Google
The room is dated from the 80s. However everything is in good shape and working order. Some of the furniture showing its age. However the linens, the towels, the bed, the floor, and everything else is clean and tidy. The staff is very helpful and kind. It is literally 10 steps away from the sand and beach. If you’re looking for an updated and trendy boutique hotel, this is not it. However this is a safe and clean place to stay for a reasonable price.

  • 5/5 Linda A. 2 years ago on Google
We love room 101. It's small and perfectly fits our needs and is. affordable. Staff has always been great. Room always clean. We are seniors and had TV problems and the young man came immediately and fixed it. Our kids and granddaughters live close. Since you didn't double your prices we will come again in August. Also the breakfast is the frosting on the cake. Linda
