Went to Shuckers expecting greatness based on the reviews and what I got was just good. Kevin our server was great and everyone else was friendly and welcoming. The problem was that my meal was not memorable in any way. The clam chowder was just ok with hard soda crackers and little taste, but the portion was big and I could see the clams in it. The fish and chips were ok as well but I wanted more than just frozen fries I could get from Burger King for $34. The cod was cooked well and was good with the tartar sauce. I don't like Cole slaw but it was different and good. I'm sure I may have been impressed if I would have gotten something else, so go and make your own opinion.

Friendly staff, delicious food, and a upscale yet unpretentious atmosphere. I loved eating here. My waitress, Darla, is such a doll….just as sweet as can be. She recommended things and was right every time. The Cioppino was out of this world and they had a Dungeness crab cocktail that was amazing! I had the Olympic Mule cocktail, which was delicious and refreshing. I’ll definitely be back!

Schuckers was truly the best meal my husband and I have had since visiting Seattle, not to mention the wonderful staff who were so welcoming. Mama Lee was especially wonderful, she accommodated our newborn with a great seating arrangement and was plainly delightful. Highly recommend! The oysters and chocolate cake were my favorite but don’t pass on the shrimp cocktail, also fantastic!

Had the pris fixe dinner for two. Started with 1 doz. oysters, muscle soup, and salmon or steak. We each tried an entre. Finished with chocolate ganache. Atmosphere was lively with the place almost full. Waiter was great! Let's me taste wine and when I didn't love it, he changed to a dryer one. Please go and help them stay in business. Food is fantastic and service is impeccable.

The scallops were seared to perfection 😋 We sat at the bar and had an enjoyable conversation with the bartender who took excellent care of our needs. Thanks 😊

Solid place with good food. We came here for the Rockefeller but they didn’t have any. Huge let down. We wanted to order more food but ended up sharing an app and entree then left. It was slow in there. Should have known and walked right out.

Shuckers was delicious. We had the clam chowder and I literally could have had a 5 gallon bucket of that. The wedge salad was excellent as well as the fish and chips. The creme brulee was a great way to end the meal. Nice atmosphere, not loud at all.

What a nice place, I sat at the bar and had some oysters and a few drinks. The bartender was amazing. He even made my oysters steamed ans they turned out so good! Plus they are delivered daily from Boston Canada, so when I say fresh , I mean FRESH. So if you love some oysters this is the place to go !!!!

Delightful food and gracious service from Jelena made for a special evening. My burger was excellent; my wife’s scallops were exceptional as was her Endive salad; and Jelena made excellent recommendations for both wine and desserts.

Sour dough bread was freshly baked and warm. Oysters were fresh, nicely presented, and tasty. Ciopini for dinner. Very nice flavor with outstanding chunks of fish, scallops, and shrimp. The desert black and blue berry tart was amazing.

The best part of our visit to Shuckers was a tie between the clam chowder and our waiter Rishi - both out of this world! Lady at the front was also extremely helpful in letting me know what was safe to eat (I’m pregnant!) The clam chowder was really just insanely good. Also split the crab cakes and the halibut, both 10/10. I would skip the lobster mac. Ambiance was amazing, such a neat place can’t wait to come back!

We were on the hunt for another restaurant that served oysters and this restaurant popped up! We’re so glad we stopped in. Brent, our bartender, was excellent! He made sure our cups were always full and that we selected the right cocktails to our tastes. The food was also delicious. We did order a dozen Kusshi oysters. They had two selections to choose from. The calamari was unique but good! If you’re interested in delicious cocktails and oysters, stop in. I would recommend making reservations. Even though we had reservations, they had a tough time finding a table for us.

Tiny oysters. Water smelled/tasted bad. Thought (was led to believe) bread came with meals as it does most restaurants. Swordfish and salmon both overcooked/dry- nothing to write home about. Brussel sprouts were really good. Bread was really good. Will not go back. Would not recommend

Very old school upmarket oyster house. Tremendously enjoyed the experience, like a blast from the past. Would recommend the scallops, clams, baked oysters, lobster Mac & cheese dish. Service was genuine & prompt!

All the seafood were fresh. We had dungeness crab cakes and oysters. Clam chowder had a lot of clams. Gem salad was crispy and dressing was just right. Tried the creme brulee and it one of the best cdeme brulee I've had. Top was thin and crispy the filling was creamy. Service was fast.

The bartender was fabulous. He was personal, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you get a chance to sit at the bar its worth your while. We had a great time chatting with him and he gave great recommendations. We enjoyed the food too and felt like it was worth the price. If we lived in town we’d be regulars.

Start with truly unique and well prepared seafood. Add in friendly, energetic service and crowd. Well worth a night out here! Hint: try the baked oysters!

They used to have amazing food. The chopped salad, crab mac and cheese, and 4 different baked oysters made them one of my favorite restaurants. Over the last couple years the menu has shrunk. It is extremely disappointing. While they always have the absolute best waiters and staff, the food is no longer worth the cost. I will keep an eye on the menu to see if they bring back my favorites, but other wise I will not be returning.

This place is a Seattle gem. Their fresh and scrumptious while the quality of the waitstaff service is A+. We went back for the first time in 3 years and I was curious to see how things might have changed since pandemic and renovations kept the restaurant closed for a while. Well, let me tell ya - it is still consistently the best restaurant experience you will get in the city! Thank you Jim for a lovely welcome back to our fave restaurant. Please open up for lunch and happy hour again so I can eat here all day everyday.

Love the fresh oysters, the ambiance, and some of the best fish I’ve had in Seattle. Love the blueberry muffin with vanilla ice cream and berry coulis from their secret menu!

I am so very disappointed! I have been coming to Shuckers since we were small girls and would stay at the Olympic Hotel, and through the Four Seasons, Fairmont, etc. My husband and I went April 8th 2022 and the special of the night was "clam strips", extremely limited menu of fried food, only one fresh sea food choice. We ordered the crab cocktail and the smell was horrendous and the crab "slick" to touch. To the management: PLEASE FIX THIS! to make it a go to place again for a nice, relaxing dinner versus what it has become today.

Fantastic experience. Everyone in the party enjoyed their meal and cocktail. The service from start to finish was amazing. I would hands down go back for the black and blue tart with that ice cream.
