So excited that I finally got to try this restaurant and it definitely lived up to the hype! Hidden in an alley near Pike Market and only identifiable by their signature pink door, this restaurant feels like stepping into an old vaudeville theater. When we went, there was a live band with an amazing vocalist playing blues/Americana music. They have an awesome wine selection and very knowledgeable staff. My favorite dish was the lasagna which was decadent and creamy with these delicious spinach noodles that didn't overpower the dish. Such an enjoyable experience - I can't wait to come again! I recommend making a reservation. Decent parking garage options in the area as well as some lots/street parking if you're willing to walk a bit further.

Top notch, class act establishment in every way... the food, drinks, service, entertainment and atmosphere are all outstanding. Of the many restaurants my wife and I visited during our five day trip to Seattle, this is the place we enjoyed the most. And we kind of stumbled upon it. There is no sign outside, just a pink door and pink trim on the windows in an alley of sorts. Heck, it was dark when we arrived and we couldn't even detect the pink on the door. We happened to see people going in and out, looked in the windows, thought it looked great, and didn't know where we were until we actually went in and asked. It was all thumbs up from there. Don't miss it. Highly recommended!

Everything was great 👍 Food delicious and great presentation. Their lasagna is a must. The mood was interesting, but it goes well. Service was great from start to finish. They also have live entertainment that's a big plus.

February 11th, my girlfriends and I visited The Pink Door to celebrate my friends birthday early. It was around 8:30pm, we didn't have reservations but we showed up, asked if they had anything for four and we were seated. I had looked two weeks prior to reserve but they were booked so this made my night because I had really been set on this place for dinner. We were seated in the back section where the windows are, in a half circle booth which was just lovely and perfect. Our waitress, Kristy, was incredibly sweet and funny. She checked on us regularly and was personable. She made the whole experience worthwhile! I would absolutely return just to sit in her section

The food was so good we came back the NEXT DAY! In my OPINION this is the best Italian food I’ve ever had. I’ve traveled to Italy several times and honestly this food is way better than any food I’ve had in Italy. Everything we had here was amazing. Even the drinks!

Went with my mom and husband for lunch and everything we ordered was incredible. It’s so hard to get a reservation here, but I was able to secure a lunch reservation. We got the beets and arugula salad, the classic pink door lasagna (must have, their staple item which is consistently delicious over the years), the mushroom pasta, house lemonade, and my husband got a salmon entree that came with broccoli and potato. Note- my mom and I are vegetarian and there were plenty of delicious options. We all loved everything we ordered so much! Highly recommend. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and patient. Lastly, the ambience of the restaurant and view of the water from our table was incredible! Such a cute place to dine.

Fantastic food and a fun atmosphere. On the pricier side but we’ll within reason and totally justified once you taste the food. The pasta dishes are our favorites but it’s hard to go wrong with the menu. Always a stop for us when we’re in Seattle!

I've been wanting to go to The Pink Door for years so I took a few coworkers from out of town here and we enjoyed it. For some reason I thought their food was going to be over the top delicious. Don't get me wrong it's good but nothing from the hype that everyone puts into it. I would say it's average but the atmosphere and the live music is on point and it's a great vibe. I've been wanting to find a perfect arancini ever since I went to Italy and this is the spot to get it! It was amazing! I'll be back just to get these! The pasta was good but the dishes could've used more sauce that was a consensus from all. The prices are affordable that's for sure. We stayed for a few hours, enjoyed the food, atmosphere, jazz band and company. The service could've been quicker but the waitress was extremely nice and knowledgeable. There's no reason why I wouldn't go back.

Wonderful Italian restaurant, all dishes were stunning, nice atmosphere, friendly and very prepared staff with good wine recommendations. Special shot out to the lasagna. I would love to visit again to see the night acrobat show, maybe in my next trip to Seattle.

I’ve been to Seattle thrice and visited pink door every time, this might be my favorite restaurant in America? Worth the wait in line or rush to get a reservation. Standouts are fries and pink door lasagna. You have to experience it to understand!

AHHHH MAZINGGGG Getting there — walk down the post alley and look for the dark grey building with a pink door. Ordering — is going to be tough as every single thing sounds delicious They do have more vegetarian options than I expected and I was not disappointed with The Pink Door Lasagna. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how it was going to taste with three different sauces, one being oil and one heavy cream but wow it was still a light and filling dish. The flavors were incredible. The cost is on par for high end / Seattle prices. Would get a part time job here just to eat everything on the menu

I happened across an article about this restaurant while in Seattle and had to try it, based on the photo of the lasagna. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It was superb. So delicious, filling and I left sad I would probably never have it again. My friend felt the same way and we spoke of it often during the rest of our trip. On our last day in Seattle we stopped in again to see if we could get a table. We got lucky with a seat at the bar. Unfortunately, you can have too much of a good thing. The second time around just didn't hit the spot like the first time. But, if you do visit the Pink Door, I'd definitely recommend the lasagne. Just pace yourself! The decor was also nice and the staff were all cheerful and welcoming.

I don’t really like Italian food, this is an EXCEPTION! This has got to be the best Italian restaurant in Seattle! Ambiance is surreal, facing the pier. Get their Winter Risotto and everything else I posted. Be sure to make reservations as I can almost guarantee they won’t accept walk ins. Will definitely come back!

One of the BEST dining experiences in Seattle! I go there every time I am in town and the service, food, and entertainment cannot be beat. Any pasta dish you get is going to be great, but their seafood is next level! My best friend and I still can’t stop talking about how good their tuna crudo dish was! SO GOOD! 🤤 I recommend getting a reservation because they book up fast and walk-ins will usually have a wait.

Every thing about this place was great. Our server was very kind. They did forget our appetizer that we ordered but they apologized after and had it be on the house. The lamb chops were to die for. So so so good. It is so moist and tender. The lasagna and rice balls with mozzarella cheese wasss amazing too. Ambiance was great and relaxing. Such a fun place for a date night.

Tasty birthday lunch for my business partner today! Cold and rainy outside but warm and friendly inside. Sat next to the big windows looking out on Sound and mountains. Had the holiday spritz, was so good with a white vermouth and aperol! Rice ball appetizer was delicious. We shared a couple pasta dishes and they did not disappoint. First time dining at Pink Door and would love to go again, if I can ever snag a reservation! Service was friendly and prompt, very chill waiter with all the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant.

Fantastic resultant with a great view and authentic Italian cuisine. As an Italian myself, and an avid foodie, I can certify that this is very authentic, delicious Italian food. We had the Arancini, Linguine with clams, truffle mushroom crostini, and tuna Crudo. They were all fantastic. Would highly recommend this place.

Tomatoes!! What fresh tomatoes they have. Loved the lasagna and the cocktails. Fusili tasted great and did I say fresh! Fries were okay, house bread was good with balsamic that tasted amazing. House special sangria and Is this pink enough for you cocktails were great as well. I totally recommend this place.

I dined at The Pink Door restaurant in Post Alley, and I have to say that while the aesthetics and ambiance were impressive with live jazz music playing at just the right volume, the overall experience left much to be desired. Our visit got off to a slow start as the host seemed a bit confused to see walk-ins, and we had to wait for a table, but it was a busy Friday night, so that was somewhat expected. The real disappointment came with the food – it was disappointingly bland, and the portions were surprisingly small given the relatively high prices. To add to our disappointment, our waitress was fairly inattentive, only checking on us when the food arrived and when it was time to present the check. While the atmosphere was enjoyable, the lackluster food experience overshadowed it all. Regrettably, I doubt I'll be making a return visit to The Pink Door restaurant.

Interesting decor. Had the tuna crudo and oysters as appetizers. Good but not amazing. For dinner, we had the linguine vongole and ribeye. The linguini was also very good but not really special. The ribeye and the broccolini was excellent. The disappointment was that the food was lukewarm, the mashed potatoes cold. Also disappointing that our table was a bit cramped and by a closed booth area. We mentioned it was our 20th anniversary in our reservations but didn’t get any of the nice window tables by the water despite there being many since we were there for a 530 reservation. Nice, but I see what some reviewers say about it being an overpriced and possibly underwhelming experience. Glad we tried it, but not sure we need to go back.

Go here for the vibe and stay for the tasty food. We FINALLY got Valentine's Day reservations after moving to the city years ago. You can book a month in advance for any day, but do so on the earlier side, because they do and will fill up. Pink door has wonderful live entertainment and the servers are excellent and attentive. The focaccia bread is mouth watering and pairs excellently with an app of meatballs.

Fun, trendy atmosphere with live shows that vary nightly. The music was unfortunately very loud (bordering on too loud) in the front room and not audible in the back room. The mushroom pasta was a bit too salty for me but I highly recommend the lasagna which was light and airy with a thin layer of tomato sauce on top. The bread pudding and budino were also excellent.

Taste Rating: 9/10 Overall Rating: 9/10 Verdict: Seattle hot spot exceeds expectation with lively atmosphere, great service, and solid Italian fare. Overall Breakdown: * Flavor: 5/5 * Uniqueness: 4/5 * Value: 4/5 * Ambience: 5/5 * Service: 5/5 Summary: The Pink Door is one of the first restaurants recommended to tourists by locals, magazines, and blogs. But this restaurant is no tourist trap. The Pink Door serves fantastic Italian inspired faire enhanced by live music and great service. The unassuming door in an alleyway leads down into a lively, large room that seems half between a piano bar and a bustling restaurant. Live music flows throughout the restaurant as servers float through with enticing drinks and aromatic plates. We loved our drinks - a chilled rosemary gimlet and sage gin mule. We started with the aracini, perfectly cooked with a fantastic tomato sauce. For mains the cioppino and spaghetti w/ meatballs - both solid entrees. For dessert we finished with the espresso cheesecake - absolutely fantastic. Great texture contrast and coffee flavor without being overwhelming. I wanted to come back the next day to have it again. The meal wasn’t as expensive as we thought it would be given the location, atmosphere, and quality of food. We were delighted that the restaurant met the hype. Unfortunately, the restaurant is so great it’s extremely difficult to get a table so book early! If we can get a table, we will definitely be back.

The food and drinks are great. The clam pasta and grilled whole fish were amazing. Green salad and antipasto were great. Service was friendly and we were well treated. The only thing that didn't meet my expectation was the chairs. They were too high for the tables so you tend to bend your back while having food.

A place without a name tag.. you have to find the pink door to enter! Food will not disappoint. Quality is superb from the apps to desserts. So delicious but not too filling. I hope the vongole pasta portion is a bit bigger though for the price they charge. The decor is also nice and the staff are all cheerful and welcoming.

I cannot recommend this place enough. As much as I’d like to keep it to ourselves this restaurant is one of my all time favorites. Perfect spot for a date night, celebration, or just a good eat. The steak was seared and cooked to perfection topped with perfection. The ambience is great and the drinks are amazing as well. The bartender was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The pasta is to die for and the pictures I’ve posted don’t do enough justice.

This place will never disappoint you! We had a fantastic time when we brought our friend from California to visit. The service is excellent. The server Kristy was super sweet & made some suggestions on the menu when we were not too sure what to get. The aerial entertainment was the topper of the evening, she is simply elegant & puts this restaurant on the top of my list in Seattle. A must visit stop if you go to Seattle but I’ll warn you make a reservation this place is very popular & they make sure they are following all the CDC guidelines so you can rest assured you’ll be safe.

I went to pink door for the first time over the weekend and I was very impressed by this place. I was skeptical of trying this place out because of the hype that surrounds it on social media but it lives up to the hype it receives. First of all the bread and infused oil is simple but so is delicious. The drinks are boozy but flavourful and well balanced. The food is absolutely delicious and I really appreciate the portion sizes, some pasta spots give you too much pasta but lack flavour but I found that pink door really packs flavour in its smaller portions. The panini’s are huge though so those are worth sharing. I definitely recommend this place for date night as the atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and intimate.

Beautiful aesthetic restaurant and delicious food. You need to make a reservation if you don’t want to be seated in the bar. Got seated in 10 min with no reservation. Bartender was nice and helpful. Definitely a must if you’re checking out Seattle.

A little hard to find at first, but the atmosphere is fun and the drinks were amazing! The food was so good too. We sat outside and watched the sunset over the sound. The wait staff was very friendly and the service was fast!

Having stood the test of time for over four decades, this restaurant boasts an impressive 42-year history, ensuring a rich dining experience steeped in tradition. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, complementing its prime location. An intriguing aspect is their selection of off-menu items, which adds an exclusive touch to the dining experience. Overall, it's a remarkable establishment that consistently delivers quality and sophistication.

Excellent food and service in a beautiful dining room. We were seated with a fine view of moonlit Elliott Bay, where both the shared antipasti and individual entrees were ample and delicious. We look forward to dining in the eclectic front dining room, whose stage featured a jazz trio on this evening, or out on the open air deck. Definitely a very special place worthy of returning often.

Great scenery and environment. We sat outside on the patio. Lasagna is the best I’ve ever had. Large selection of food items. Great drink menu and desserts. Highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal! Started with the Tickled Pink cocktail and ended the evening with the Lemon Hibiscus Tart, and everything from start to finish was perfection. I enjoyed a half dozen of the Fresh Northwest Oysters for an app, followed by the Ravioli AI Piselli — each bite was more addicting than the last. So happy we were able to dine here on our adventure to Seattle, and look forward to returning in the future. Keep up the amazing work!

This restaurant is a gem hidden away in an alley in Pike Place. It's beautifully decorated and ideal for a romantic date. Reservations are highly recommended. My server was amazing!!! She was friendly and welcoming, plus I loved her Bubble Yum earrings! My meal was great and the dessert was amazing.

An extremely posh place to have italian cuisine. Good to have reservations for this place. It had good vegetarian options as well as a good selection of drinks to choose from. I had the corn of the cob and lasagna. I would recommend the place to anyone. It is a bit of road and can be difficult to spot but worth the vibe, ambience and experience.

We came here for a birthday lunch and it was spectacular. Elise was our server and truly made our experience amazing. Elise gave a recommendation for a wine that might be our new favorite, and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend The Pink Door for anyone looking for a cute and unique place to dine.
