Summary:
The
Pink
Door
is
one
of
the
first
restaurants
recommended
to
tourists
by
locals,
magazines,
and
blogs.
But
this
restaurant
is
no
tourist
trap.
The
Pink
Door
serves
fantastic
Italian
inspired
faire
enhanced
by
live
music
and
great
service.
The
unassuming
door
in
an
alleyway
leads
down
into
a
lively,
large
room
that
seems
half
between
a
piano
bar
and
a
bustling
restaurant.
Live
music
flows
throughout
the
restaurant
as
servers
float
through
with
enticing
drinks
and
aromatic
plates.
We
loved
our
drinks
-
a
chilled
rosemary
gimlet
and
sage
gin
mule.
We
started
with
the
aracini,
perfectly
cooked
with
a
fantastic
tomato
sauce.
For
mains
the
cioppino
and
spaghetti
w/
meatballs
-
both
solid
entrees.
For
dessert
we
finished
with
the
espresso
cheesecake
-
absolutely
fantastic.
Great
texture
contrast
and
coffee
flavor
without
being
overwhelming.
I
wanted
to
come
back
the
next
day
to
have
it
again.
The
meal
wasn’t
as
expensive
as
we
thought
it
would
be
given
the
location,
atmosphere,
and
quality
of
food.
We
were
delighted
that
the
restaurant
met
the
hype.
Unfortunately,
the
restaurant
is
so
great
it’s
extremely
difficult
to
get
a
table
so
book
early!
If
we
can
get
a
table,
we
will
definitely
be
back.
