My favorite shopping area is close to seattle. Although there aren’t a huge variety of stores like other malls, they have a good variety. The surroundings are pretty too. They have many places for food and drinks. There is plenty of parking but it can take a while to park. I usually like to go get some hot chocolate or Rachel’s ginger beer and do some shopping or just window shopping and walk around. A lot of cute shops to do window shopping. Would highly recommend this place.

06/02/23: what is better than a sunny day visiting the U Village. There are many parking lots so no worry on that. There are tons of famous branches to visit and they did not disappoint me at all. I love walking across the side walks and enjoy the views. Highly recommended

No longer does Osborne and Ullands reside in the University Village Mall, however the vibe still assist. It is definitely a better place to shop than downtown Seattle. The kids had a fun day and I almost purchased a brown pair of #Vans for myself but I did not feel like lacing up another pair of shoes unless I was on payroll.

It's a very happening place at the festive time. It's usually a bit crowded. That's attractive for me. It has a beautiful garden, tiny children's play area and lots of stores of clothes, shoes, grocery stores like QFC, Safeway and big brands like the Apple Store, banana republic, Amazon books. It has lots of food and dine options including ice cream shops. The Starbucks here also always attracts people.

This is by far one of the better shopping centers as it has stores like Anthropologie, Free People, Madewell, Aritzia, Reformation and more. I'm glad they added Hello Robin and Shake Shack in the last few years. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and plenty of desserts around here. If you truly want to avoid the crowds stray away the weekend afternoon. There are plenty of parking garages here, but some of the drivers can't park or drive. Who speeds in a parking garage....

This place is the fancy outside mall with fancy stuff, and also a great place to steal an umbrella. I like the swamp with shopping carts in it. There's food here.

Lovely shopping center with a ton of nice shops. You have just about every kind of store here. Parking can be a hassle, but you can spend a whole day here. There's a park in the center where kids can play and adults can relax. There's also a Qfc and Trader Joe's for those trying to get errands done after a bunch of shopping.

I hate shopping at malls, but this mall makes me hate it a whole lot less. Other than trying to find parking. The whole place makes shopping feel more of an adventure. Google Maps is sometimes a little off on store locations though.

University Village feels safe and fun. The climbing zone for really young kids to play in is great. Folks working at the shops care about customers having a quality experience. Lots of nice food places, and great parking on-site. I like walking around in the open-air environment. U-Village is clean & the buildings are attractive.

Love shopping here. Love the atmosphere and the layout. Restaurants available. Abundance of space to walk around. This place can hold a large amount of crowd. The restroom stalls have their own sink and trash container (really like that). Dog friendly. Many shops available. It’s a fun place!

I have been shopping at this outdoor mall for over 60 years. It originally was just a neighborhood grocery store and hardware store (Ernst's) and a few smaller stores, candy and mom's restaurant. The city dump was just south of it where the Uof W athletic fields and parking lot now reside. It has grown to be an upscale mall with lots to see and buy.

UVillage is very nice. Very busy. But on a recent trip to Pottery Barn, I got Doris Day parking RIGHT in front of the store.

Upscale shopping area, with stores that aren't anywhere else in town. The one I was in had rearranged their displays to make wide aisles so people could actually be over 6 feet apart. They also have taken over one of the street areas for outdoor dining.

I was bored watching TV at my house, so I decided to go shopping in this mall. I was captivated by the place and the style in this entire mall. It was new, modern, and very clean. The saleslady and cashiers were very accommodating and pleasant. Besides, they have quality products that might be good to buy, for they last long. The first floor has also many stores, restaurants, and a gym that was very good to spend time and leisure. Overall, I love this shopping mall. Thanks!

I visited this shopping mall last Monday, and I was able to get what I was looking for. I was not mistaken about choosing this mall for a wonderful day spend by. Highly recommended for both meetings and friends as well for having an excellent atmosphere. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure. Thumbs up!

Wow! This shopping center was the best for me. I was able to buy all of my needed things for my trip. Great bags for packing and many dresses to wear. I couldn't ask for more! Their product quality was excellent and trustworthy. I will visit this shopping center again with my family next time. Cheers to more customers in the future!

It is so beautiful right now for the holidays. We went to get a last minute secret Santa gift. Plenty of parking, we did have to wait in line for the store, but the staff was so kind and so were the other shoppers. Well worth the outing.

I just moved to this town, so I didn't know much about the place and the establishments around the neighborhood. I didn't know why I checked first the nearest shopping mall, but I did. This mall was pretty close to my house, so it was so easy to go there, so again, I did. This mall looked pretty big but very clean. I found it easier to roam around also since it was pretty organized. I knew I was new to the place, but I still had a great time! Big thanks to the security guard who was so patient in answering my questions about the place! Thanks!

We love this place. All the stores you actually want to go into and they have it layed out really well. Large yellow umbrellas are conveniently located outside most of the stores, so the weather is not an issue.

High end shopping center in eternal process of building. I walked through because I used to live near there and visit often, but there are very few reasons to visit unless I want something top shelf. Off hours are best if parking irritates, though there are usually spaces in the parking structures. Has an Amazon store, so is handy for returns. With the ne building, suggest you go with a parking structure. Frank's chocolates is the BEST, I send my in-laws a box for Christmas, and I am golden for the year!!

Great selections for just about everything. The downside is ridiculous parking closer to the stores. Maybe enforce tickets for people who take multiple spots? A solid $100 would change behavior & maybe make it better for everyone

An excellent outdoor mall with quality stores and very kid and dog friendly! Parking can be a challenge, but you can now usually find a space in the newer parking garages on the north end of university village.

The layout and design of the shopping center is excellent. It flows well, and on Friday afternoon at 4:00, did not feel too crowded. It's light and sparkling, and the dome at the top is beautiful. It's true, we now have our very own Church of Retail. All of the materials used from the flooring to the lighting to the furniture are gorgeous, and makes this mall feel very upscale, even more upscale than some of the retailers who have set up shop there. The noise level is controlled so you feel that you can have a normal conversation without shouting above the din of your fellow shoppers.

This is one of my favorite places it's a nice little escape from Seattle to do a little bit of high end shopping or just look around. Plant of stores to look around in and places to eat very great selections been coming here ever sense I was young. Also lots of great spot here to just sit and enjoy the environment. Doesn't feel like you're in Seattle when you're here and its easy to get to!

  • 4/5 Alex T. 3 years ago on Google
Lots of great stores, mostly high end, but there are definitely some great local businesses/restaurants here as well as major names. For example there is a Victoria Secret, a Tesla Store, and the best local ice cream: Molly Moons. Parking can be hard if it's crowded.

  • 5/5 Peter W. 3 years ago on Google
Beautiful strip mall...if that's what you call it. It has a lot of great stores and the place just looks really nice, especially now with all the Christmas lights and decorations. They also have a great variety of restaurants. The only downside is probably the parking situation...or too many visitors. Parking spaces are a bit tight as well.

Enjoyable place to hang out with colleagues! You got everything you will need inside. They strive to provide us the best service that exceeds our expectations. I am 100% satisfied customer here! Due to Covid one can finally enjoy inside seating at the restaurants in and around the Village. The stores are clean and bright, actually a little too bright. Sephora, quick in and out, QFC liquor outlet hidden around the corner from main store, same building. The next two weeks will be the best time to go, not crowded and you can easily park and enjoy the Village Mall.

This shopping mall was perfect for my everyday needs. The products and the entire mall were excellent and beautiful. Besides, the bags, shoes, and clothes that I bought were too lovely and satisfying. Even the stores and restaurants in the lower level were captivating and good to spent time. I greatly loved the ambiance in this mall. It was stylish, clean, and new. Till next time!

University Village is our favorite metro Seattle shopping mall because it is a walk-around-outdoors style mall, clean and very attractive. There are many tables with umbrellas and large complementary umbrellas to carry in case of need. It has a large selection of our favorite clothing stores such as Gap, Eddie Bauer, North Face, etc. It also has a large selection of eateries and several Starbucks. It has my favorite nursery store, Ravenna Gardens and a lot of shops for home and kitchen goods. With two big garages and a lot of surface lots, parking is free and easy. For us, it is a lot easier to go to Southcenter, but boy it can be crowded! With Covid still around, that's not always the best thing. Sometimes the lines are too long for us to want to wait. Southcenter Mall can get really trashed out and unsanitary. Northgate Mall is also more accessible for us; will it ever come back to its former size? Alderwood Mall is an excursion, seldom worth the drive. We're so happy to have the U Village. My wife's favorite form of relaxation is window shopping. We always have a good time, have some good food, and come away with some joyous purchases.

I never have a pleasant experience when I visit. The layout is an unpleasant mix of crowded pedestrian areas mixed with driveways full of selfish drivers. Some of the businesses are decent, but on the whole this place feels like a horrid shrine to consumerism.

Our young kids love spending the afternoon here. We grab lunch from Din Tai Fung and eat at the outdoor tables by the little astro-turfed park area, then they run themselves ragged doing cartwheels and playing tag before heading over to Molly Moon's for an ice cream pick-me-up. Good times!

I've been here several times and I've had fun every single time I've been there. It's really cozy, giving my nostalgia for my childhood town. The only bad part is that even though there is COVID-19 going around right now, the University Village is packed with people. It's not that safe right now.

This place is almost synonymous to the wharf. I would recommend not to miss it if the goal is to be around this area anyway. There is plenty to do. There are a variety of shops to check out and tons of eateries to choose from (snacks or meals alike.) One of my favorites is watching the seals just lounge and have the life! Why and how they chose this place, who knows...

  • 4/5 Marc B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice, much improved since i was there last over 30 years ago. Out door mall was very crowded, felt very California mall design to me. Parking was very hard to come by. I risked a 90 minute parking spot to enjoy lunch with my son. Many places were very much out of my budget. But it was kind of refreshing to see so many people out and about. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese restraunt we went too. We will be back.

Even if you're not really shopping it's a great place to walk around. Love to atmosphere in this area. Pretty close to the University of Washington so you get a lot of students hanging out. The boutique shops are a little on the pricey side and the food options are varied. There's a grocery store also on site. Decent amount of parking but it's all spread out.

the best place to be on a beautiful day. you could spend a few hours here if you take your time as there’s tons of great stores.

  • 1/5 S H. 2 years ago on Google
So, the escalator in the south garage is completely shut down and you can enter without going in a crowded elevator BUT you cannot exit this garage without being forced to go in a mask less, crowded elevator with no warning. I walked around for a half hour trying to access the stairs that are all locked. Additionally, when I tried calling security and pressing “8” it does not connect. So this mall leaves you completely without guidance or access to security to call, and the nearby stores will do nothing to tell you where you are going. So be prepared to waste an hour of your day trying to find your car again and then being pushed into an elevator with 20 other random people. Thanks a lot University Village 🤷‍♂️

Nice upscale outdoor shopping mall. Clean, lots to do, great shops. Biggest issue is always parking. It can take 10-15 minutes to find a spot, to the point where you're better off just parking at the start of a row and waiting for someone to walk back to their car rather than circle around.

  • 4/5 Kay J. 10 months ago on Google
Nice place with a lot of shopping options and restaurants. Parking space is too little to take the crowd, especially during the graduation season and summers. Cars were literally crammed up in small space. It took me around half an hour just to get out of here. They really need to make roads better and create more parking lots.

This place used to be great. Now it all became multi billionaire corporate is selling cheap products just like all other malls in America. Before, this place had a characters. They had a local vendors that sells products that hard to find. One positive note, parking got better after they built the ugly looking parking structure that actually blocks the great view from University of Washington

It's always a pleasure to visit University Village! Pro tip, great place to park for free if you'll be in the area. But this place has so much great stuff so I would check it out first before branching out! My favourite places to visit are Hello Robin and the Apple store. Definitely check it out!

  • 4/5 Nicole D. 1 year ago on Google
This place has evolved so much since my college years. Most of the stores are on the higher end, but still fun to visit. Parking can be a huge pain though, so I highly recommend parking in the complex attached to DTF or Hello Robin vs trying your luck on the ground level.

It's very comfortable to take a walk and go shopping here. The scenery is beautiful, and the shops are diverse. It's a good location for taking nice photos. We didn't have much trouble finding parking, even though we went on a Saturday. It was a little crowded, but not too bad. By the way, the umbrella they provided is very cute, and I heard they change the colors according to different seasons. I think it's also sweet that they provide umbrellas.
