Let's start with the good, I enjoyed my Tuna melt. It had a great taste to it and all in all was a solid showing. Not overly toasted, tuna tasted great, and whatever they did to give the melt some flavor was fine by me. The cost is for me one of the negatives. The melt was a bit on the pricey side (roughly $18). Another negative was overall portions for what the table ordered just felt small. The mac and cheese is just overpriced for how small it is, I feel I need to call that out. The mac and cheese is not a shareable and it wasn't ordered to be one either, it's just way too small even for one person is what I'm saying. Lots of game options and the servers were nice, no complaints there. My iced tea never got a refill and unfortunately they weren't good about getting water. But hey, that's how it goes sometimes, overall they were people just doing their best. Overall it's a nice place for some games and I'd give it another go. Just wouldn't go there hungry is all. Check it out if you're in the area!

The environment outside Card Kingdom is the main driver for the 2 star review. Homeless people have taken over the sidewalk(and it's blocked off at the time of this review) and are very vocal/harassing people walking by, as I have experienced numerous times now. I don't feel safe walking from the parking lot and going across the street to the building. The parking lot is littered with garbage. This review was 5 stars before, as Card kingdom itself is amazing. It's very sad and disappointing that the area around the shop has fallen into disrepute. I will happily change the review back to 5 stars once things get cleaned up.

An enormous one stop table top game shop with attached cafe and plenty of gaming space. To use a Books metaphor? This place is like everything B n N -wished it was- at its peak for bibliophiles. The cafe allows for gaming at the tables (within reason). The best feature that I have noted so far though is the card purchasing system employed by them. Instead of trying to cram display cases in too little space, they have 2 computers (or you can use their website from your phone or even at home) that allow you to purchase cards online. Once the purchase is complete, just walk up to the cashier and let them know that you’re they’re to retrieve them, and they’ll have them to you from their warehouse as quickly as they can retrieve them. Dozens of tables, with alcoves dedicated to every type of table top game imaginable. If you like tabletop gaming, missing this place is a mistake. If you’re curious to explore or learn about table top gaming, this place is a great place to start vs any box store….

I’ll be honest, I’m not huge into games, but tagged along with some friends and had a great time. I did not have any drinks or cocktails but Mox seems to have a solid offering of both and food. We hung out in a non-pressing setting playing a few games. What a great idea Mox is. Cheers!

Cafe Mox is a great place to grab a bit and play games. There are many game options available to play (for free). The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable about the games, and happy to provide recommendations if asked.

Wowwwww what an awesome game store! It has a bar attached and you can play card or board games as you eat!! This is perfect for those late night munchies or game nights. Especially perfect for Friday Night Magic and drafting. I loved looking at the various dice! They even have LGBTQIA+ dice!! They had demi dice!!!! They also have lots of board games, DND stuff, war hammer gear, and kiosks where you can order magic cards and gear. Parking is across the street in a lot but spots are few and it fills up fast. There’s also a lot of homeless people next to the lot.

This is one of my son's favorite place to buy card packs and other gaming gear. Great atmosphere and great staff!!! Plenty of seating and one can borrow games here to play in-house.

My son is new to the world of Pokémon so I try to take him to extra fun places to buy cards. This was definitely fun. Huge store with lots of space and tons of tables. There is even a beautiful restaurant connected to it.

Found my new obsession and probably one of my favorite spots in all of Seattle. Such an incredible group of staff members to provide great recommendations on games, food, and drinks. Great spot for hanging with friends.

The game selection is fabulous, and the games available to "check out" are great! Helpful staff at the front of the store. The restaurant brought disappointment. The chai latte is extremely weak, but if you like slightly warm milk with a hint of chai, you will be satisfied. Mac and cheese was okay, but the chicken I added was incredibly dry. Overall, store = great. Restaurant = meh.

Beautiful atmosphere, excellent staff, I was lucky enough to pull a borderless jeweled lotus foil etched. Very happy to have finally visited Card Kingdom!

After years of hearing about Mox Boarding House, I accidentally walked past it while visiting Seattle and I'm thrilled that I stopped in: this is a beautiful game store. Their curated selection of tabletop games is phenomenal. Their tournament facilities look fantastic, although I did not have time to shuffle up and play with anyone. And the food in the cafe was surprisingly great, and not just for a board game cafe. On my next trip I intend to visit for a Magic draft.

Very cool game store. Love the relaxed vibe and friendly staff. My son was able to buy loose magic cards at a fair price. I was able to get a coffee and relax as he and his friends bought cards and played a game.

This is an amazing, welcoming space up try new games or meet up for a tournament. The restaurant has private game rooms for reservation. The staff has always been excellent when I was there.

I went here with my friends on one of the Sunday evenings. The place was pretty full but we were able to grab a table for four. The staff was pretty helpful and fun in helping us select a new game altogether that none of us had ever played before. As a group we really enjoyed the game. Food wise, there weren't a lot of vegetarian options so we ended up ordering coffees and a mushroom appetizer. The coffee could be hotter and better for my liking. Overall, food wise, the place seemed a little expensive for the portion and quality of food and drinks. However, it was a super fun evening to spend with friends.

Went in for the first time. Service staff at the Cafe were very friendly, and catered very well. Clearly they know their clientele, and are very careful with liquids and other food products as it mixes with card and board games. Prices are reasonable for the area, and some vegan and vegetarian options are available for food. As for the card and table top games side of stuff, I think the discount program they have for trying out new games at the table during a meal is extremely cool, and also important. I can't wait to go back here and take advantage of that deal.

This place is so fun we came back 2 days in a row. The games are fairly priced when compared to Amazon or target. And they have a really great selection. It's board games, dice games, card games, kid games etc. Love that you can grab a drink or a coffee or snack and borrow one of their games or bring your own. My son picked out a game that was a little too advanced for him and they were super cool about letting us exchange it. Just a really unique experience.

Great food, great games and great atmosphere. Went here with some friends and the server to surprised us with a game of his choice. Ended up loving it, even though there was some sabotage involved! Awesome time.

Amazing Monday night birthday celebration had here! The lending library looks a little weak when compared to the whole store, but only because the store is so huge & impressive! The staff is so helpful with recommendations & rule/game-play explanations. Nobody felt dumb, everyone had a blast!! Even the non-gamers in our group want to go back again. It was great to be able to play different games while we ate, but it was loud in the Cafe, so a little difficult to learn new games. The menu is broader than expected. FYI: Beer/wine only, not a full bar, but again, nice options! Water is filtered & glasses filled often!! Wait service was very attentive, but all of our food (apps & entrees) came at once. The food was honestly just okay, pretty bland & overcooked. They also shut down the espresso machine 2-3 hours before closing so no coffee or hot cocoa with dessert. Seriously?!? Still 5 stars, but I'll eat somewhere else first & come here just for gaming.

One of the most fun and unique places to kick back relax and play games! This is a retail gaming store combined with an area to be able to check out games and play them there, as well as a bar and restaurant area all in one big package! Huge selection and even more astonishing is how amazing everyone is describing each and every game… The staff definitely knows their stuff! Never had a bad experience here and I recommend it to everyone!

Huge selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff who are always willing to provide recommendations! Attached is a decent restaurant, few food options but regardless, Love the combo of dining/drinking and being able to trial a game! No hard alcohol, beer and wine only. Please bring back the Mediterranean nachos! we miss them so!

Fun events! Was there for Star Wars trivia and it was a blast! The cocktails are delicious. If they have the mead cocktail list, the espresso martini is a bit sweet but great. The appetizer menu leaves a bit to be desired. It's a board game bar, not a gourmet restaurant. So the only reason why I didn't give a 5 star review was because I ordered the brussel sprouts and stuffed mushrooms and both were... just okay. Portions were small for the price (5 mushrooms for $13). I would probably not eat there again but would definitely come back for games, trivia, and drinks. Pretty good beer list too!

Good food and great games! Wonderful place for those that love board games. They have lots of games there that you can try for free. I've spent a lot of time there playing board games with friends. Be careful about weekends when they have gaming tournaments. It'll be jam packed then, so better to avoid going at that time unless you wanna be in the tournament.
