Being a big fans of Starbucks, I feel so excited for this first shop in the world! You need to line up around 30mins if you visit on weekdays. And maybe 1.5-2hrs on weekends. Anyway, you can find many cute Starbucks souvenirs, like bears with the uniform, mugs for latte and espresso… of course those are sold only in this shop!

First Starbucks ever. Definitely one of those things you do if you’re a tourist in the city. Was about a ~30 min wait to get in. A little surprised there was no food available and it was strictly coffees. We were able to get our hands on some exclusive drinks which tasted really good. Check it out!

I was so excited to be able to visit the very first Starbucks! Because of this there was a line to get in but it’s worth it. The store is neatly put together as it also displays its history as being the first Starbucks. As usual the drinks were yummy, the staff was nice/friendly, and the merchandise was awesome!

The first Starbucks in the world has a nice shop in the Public Pike Market. Expect some line because of the fans of the brand, but it is fast. The lady in the cashier was great and very nice. It's not big shop and you can't eat inside (grab and go). The product is aligned to the brand, no more, no less. There's few collections of items like mugs and stuff.

This is the first ever Starbucks location. It all started here! I know the wait could be very long but it is definitely worth the visit here. The staff are friendly and the drinks were pretty good. You can also get Starbucks memorabilia and drinks exclusive to this location. There is no place to sit down unfortunately so you have to enjoy your drink outside. Definitely recommend!

As this is the first Starbucks store in the world I had to visit, even though I do not like coffee. I queued for 30-40 minutes before admittance and was greeted by friendly and staff. Apart from the regular Starbucks menu there are other souvenirs available to buy. The store tells the story of the company and I am glad I went in. If you are a fan of Starbucks this is a place to visit. If you just want a cup of coffee find a different place. Good luck getting a selfie or picture of the store as there are always people passing and grabbing the opportunity for a photo.

I checked out the first ever Starbucks in Seattle and it's quite a spot! It's small and always packed, but it has this unique, vintage vibe that's totally worth experiencing. If you're a coffee lover or just curious about Starbucks' roots, this is the place to be. Tip: Go in the evening when it's quieter. You'll get to soak in the atmosphere without the usual crowds. It's not just about the coffee, but the whole nostalgic feel of the place. Definitely recommend it!

Highly recommended if you want to do touristy things in Seattle 😍 we visited late in the evening around 7pm. Small queue with 10 ppl. Staffs are super friendly, smiling and welcoming with kindness. Young people working here when we visited. Loved the coffee and the hot chocolate. Great spot for coffee lovers and Starbucks fans 😉

Finally made it to the original location of Starbucks .. quite the little store with a large line outside. We lucked out with only a 10 minute wait. Waits can be up to 40 minutes. Once inside service was quick and extremely friendly. Staff seemed to enjoy working at this location. Limited branded merchandise was remaining with the original Starbucks logo.

Super cool experience to get to see the FIRST (in reality “second”- the first one burned down), Starbucks location. I recommend getting there early, otherwise, there’s always a long line. We got there pretty late in the afternoon so we had to wait about 30 minutes to get inside. The store itself is really small and is set up to order coffee, and purchase merchandise and leave. There is no tables, no way of “staying” awhile, and no food for purchase. But it was still special and the staff was really sweet ! A must stop !

This place always has a huge line! They sell Starbucks toy, coffee mugs and so on, also signature drinks. The coffee taste exact like other Starbucks coffee shops, I didn’t find unique signature coffee. I was kind of expecting more, but it is like other Starbucks but old one. If you have time I would recommend visit it, if you don’t have time, you don’t lose anything.

Obviously super busy all the time. The best time to visit is early in the morning on a week day. The staff is AMAZING and very welcoming. Even though it’s always busy and a small space…they always keep things moving. Even if you can’t get into the shop to buy a coffee, it’s nice to check out the shop while visiting the market.

Great place to swing by as a tourist. Got stranded here due to bad weather so why not. 1st thing on my checklist here. Things sold here are here alone stuff. So better swing by here to get your collection. The queue was no doubt long. But at least I can proudly say that I have been to the 1st Starbucks store !

We personally liked the "original" Starbucks over the Reserve. The wait for the line is all dependent on how long people stay in Starbucks. They do have some special drinks that aren't available elsewhere. I tried the cookies N cream cold brew and I would hands down get it again! It tasted like an oreo! Amazing!

Went to see the famous first Starbucks store. The wait wasn’t too long for a Friday. Approximately waited 15mins to get in. The staffs were very nice and smiley. The guy who took my order made sure to write my name correctly! a first for me! ✨☕️

The very first Starbucks store! We visited it in a morning during Christmas break, and there was a short line. We waited about 15 minutes. But when we finished lunch and walked pass here in the afternoon, the line became very long. So I would recommend if you wanna go in the store and shop some souvenirs, arrive early to avoid the long line. I bought so many glass cups and mugs and coffee beans! They have products that are exclusive for this store which I love it. It is a great gift for visitors! And the prices for those special mugs/bottles/coffee beans are actually very reasonable, they are just like the other Starbucks' merchandise's prices. Would absolutely recommend to check it out this place if you're rising Seattle! 🙌🏼

A must visit for Starbucks fans ☕️⭐️🧜‍♀️ this is the original first location that started it all for the company. I ordered a vanilla bean Frappuccino and got some other items. ( FYI you can use Canadian Starbucks gift cards here & all over in the states at Starbucks locations ) there are lineups here but it moves smoothly not too much of a wait and there can be a lineup outside of the store . This is just a grab and go location no seating areas unfortunately but still good and worth the visit . Love this is the original location and its still here . Easy to get to by walking, public transportation, car parking lot next to it . Its wheelchair accessible here too 💕☕️ . Staff are amazing and very accommodating.

The First Starbucks store. Luckily, came down here on a Monday at 5pm & there was no line. Only drinks are offered here though. Good blends. Go for the nostalgia & the merchandise. But if you want the serious hard to find blends & even more merch, hit the Starbucks Reserve a short drive up on Pike St.

AARON must be an angel. I asked him so many questions about "Been There" series tumblers and Pike Place Special Reserve for probably close to 10 minutes and he was so professional and delightful to talk to. While everyone was nice I was especially lucky to interact with Aaron. Aaron makes you feel welcomed and special; Thank you so much. Aaron made it was totally worth the wait during a rainy & windy weather! In addition, try a cup of Pike Place Special Reserve because it's only sold in 2 stores. It's more rich, bold, robust, and smooth than the regular Pike Place Medium Roast we've seen at other Starbucks stores. If you appreciate a good cup of coffee, you'll be glad you tried. At 3:30 the line was super long but when I came back, after strolling through the Pike Place market for an hour, the line had gotten significantly shorter! Whew! I'm so disappointed that the "Been There" series mug cup have been sold out for several months. But I'm glad I got the "Been There" tumbler! Thank you to AARON again for making my first visit a special, memorable experience that I'll never forget!

There is always a long queue here and I don't understand why. Yes it's the first and the original Starbucks but they don't sell anything different or unique here. If you just need to take a picture of the original Starbucks store sign just politely tell the store attendant and you will save yourself at least 30minutes of waiting.

A must stop for anyone who enjoys the Starbucks experience. Just measure your times: In the mornings you will wait in line for at least 40 minutes. In the afternoons, 20 or 15 mins. By 5 or 6 in the afternoon it is already very clear and it is the ideal time to take your time choosing the merchandise you want.

Must see! There was a big queue and too almost 20 mins to just get in. It’s a small store, and doesn’t serve all items. Just few of the coffee options. Very small, so can’t really stay in long. Staff will be serving some of the seasonal coffee to try. Merchandise to purchase.

Fun store and experience! The staff at the storefront and inside were very helpful and engaged. They do have some unique merchandise. The line to get in was minimal, about a 10 minute wait. The staff were walking around handing out samples and we tried a new drink called Oleato latte which was excellent. The drink was so good we ended up ordering it once we got to the register. Definitely a cool vibe for such a touristy spot, didn’t feel touristy.

The famous first Starbucks. Have to wait for like 30+ mins to get in and the business hours are kinda short comparing to other Starbucks. It’s more of a tourist spot rather than a Starbucks and everyone recognizes that. But still gonna get a coffee here with the special edition of the cup, as a unique Seattle treat for traveling.

This is the first starbucks in the world, so I was definitely so excited to visit. There was a long line to get in but it doesn’t take long for you to be inside the store. The store itself will give you a feeling that you’re back in time even if they have changed the original display. You’ll find a display of different cups inside for you to choose from if you’re planing to get one. There is no sitting area so all orders are take outs. The coffee is delicious and staff are nice.

My girls loved visiting the first ever Starbucks! The wait wasn’t too long, we got lucky! We enjoyed our experience inside the store and bought some merch that was specific to the original store only! Of course we ordered drinks and they were tasty! It is a fun piece of Seattle history to experience!

Reading previous reviews I visited the store on a Monday at around 9 am without any q! The staff are super kind and attentive. They have exclusive merch and drinks ❤️ I tried the nitro cold brew topped with strawberry and it was an absolute delight. Worth visiting!

The original, first store. I walked by around 7:30pm and there was a line to go in... I took some pictures, enjoyed checking it out but wasn't in the mood for coffee and didn't feel up for waiting in line. There was some construction on the street in front, with fencing, getting a good picture was a little challenging.

The first Starbucks in the world! For all Starbucks aficionados, you must go visit this one in Seattle. They have a great selection of the first Starbucks on Waze recipes. They are all super friendly and love to share the history of Starbucks. Cute little gifts and swag items to pick up here as well. Located in the heart of pikes place market, you can’t miss this when you’re in town. A must visit!

The very first Starbucks! It’s worth a visit although there is always a queue. They do sell special products, pricey cute little things. Generally it’s cozy and the staffs are as friendly as you could imagine.
