I always wondered why this club had such bad reviews. Now I know. I've been training for a race Since the holidays and needed access to a swimming pool few times a week. Signed up at this club that is close to my house and paid all the fees and dues. It was fine for couple of weeks and all of the sudden their pool equipment broke and the it's been closed for over a week. I've tried several times and talked to folks including staff and managers and the answer I got was the vendor they are using to install the pump has been ghosting them!!! Can you believe a corporate gives you an answer like this? I asked them why I'm paying while I can't use the service and their answer was that their membership fees are per club and they don't care about individual services such as swimming pool! Their customer service and level of arrogance is super bad and I haven't seen something like this before. I asked to speak with the regional VP and they refused to connect me or have someone who cares talk to me! I haven't seen a horrible customer service like this for a while and I'm genuinely disappointed. Please find yourself a different gym if you can.

You are opening up in the middle of a pandemic with limited facilities, limited capacity and limited staff, yet you are charging 100% of the fees due. 4 days notice of reopening and billing. At 25% percent capacity for 100% of the cost. Another customer gone.

The Signature LA Fitness of Ballard. Sincerely, they are charging too much to be a signature club. They claim to offer a towel service. Have you seen the towels they offer?? That’s of course if you find any at the front desk. You would probably have more luck finding them stacked up in the dirty pile in the locker room. Have you seen the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash they offer??? That’s of course when it’s not broken down in the shower floor. Have you had a chance to shower in the “luxury/signature “ showers?? Guess what, someone decided to clean off the privacy tint on the doors. Also, you’ll probably find someone cleaning the showers during business hours (poor management). Back in 2015-2018 this gym was pretty well maintained, and showed to be the best gym in the area. Not anymore. Please DO BETTER

Unless you cancel at the gym, they make you literally print out a cancelation form, and mail it to the gym….. that is so disgusting given that it is 2022 and they require you to make two trips during my free time just to cancel my dang membership. Also the gym is consistently overcrowded and there are not enough benches and free weights available. I would recommend people find a good local gym that doesn’t practice this gross predatory behavior and allow you to cancel without using snail mail

TL;DR - This gym goes out of its way to be shady about cancelling. Sign up at your own risk. Went in on Saturday morning (gym was open) to cancel my membership and the shift manager Quinn told me that cancellations could only be processed 9-5 Mon-Fri, even though the gym was open. Quinn took down my cancellation paperwork and promised to give it to the manager on Monday to be processed - and that I would get a receipt when the paper work was cancelled. ** 7 days after filing cancellation paperwork ** - I didn't get any receipt, so I stopped in during my lunch on Friday to confirm. Quinn and the Sr manager (did not get his name) were both there, and both told me that the cancellation would be processed by end of day. They personally wrote down notes in front of me to "make sure it got done". ** 13 days after filing cancellation paperwork ** - They charged my credit card for another month and I still have no receipt of cancellation. This gym commits contract fraud - do not sign up here!

This place is a big box gym and it comes with a fairly cheap monthly membership that you end up paying for in a number of other ways. The yearly membership and payment of a first and last month's fees are a bit annoying but I feel they do this to secure a bit more money when people find out how gross it is. It is pretty consistently busy with many people who do not care about their community's environment. It us filthy from entrance to showers, sauna, lockers, etc. And not all- maintained. The workers are mostly kind but not attentive to need of the facility and machines are often in disrepair. I say don't bother with it. The smoothie bar is great however

I visited for the first time today with a friend who used a guest pass on me. I've never visited an LA Fitness before. I'm devastated, because I left my wallet in the girl's locker room, and $250 from my wallet was stolen when I was done working out. They didn't steal my wallet, and even left some $1 bills. I couldn't stop crying. I told the staff members about what happened, and he just said "sorry" and didn't even try to help me. That made me feel even worse. I'm just a student without any income, and the money that I do get, I need to work a lot of hours to make. If I can't trust to leave my things in the locker room, what's the point of going? I was thinking of buying a membership, but I don't feel safe going anymore. There are plenty of other gyms you can visit in Seattle. Go find one where you can feel safe in the locker room instead of this one.

Bye LA fitness!!! I really enjoyed LA fitness in other locations. I was working out regularly for an year and I saw myself skipping gym after I move here to Ballard area, because it was so stressful to work out here. So I decided to cancel my membership and go to other gym in the area. Here’s why: Summary Pro (I thought it’s going to go well) - Signature club: Equipments are pretty new and they are good machines. But… - Some staffs are nice Big CON time!!! - it’s really crowded. It’s very stressful to work out here with all the stares and pressure I get when using equipment. Eg) There are three squat racks which is same number as other regular la fitness but probably x3-5 more ppl here trying to use that squats racks 😂 always so stressful to get it. Same as bench and other equipments. - Equipment in really bad maintenance: They have really great machines, but cannot get best use of it. I can tell they are not waxing the machines. I could feel the metal grinding 😬 comparing to other LA fitness locations…. - Too hot: Not enough A/C - Some staffs are bad. It’s a long story. So I will write a paragraph here below. When I was living in different part of Seattle, I was going to regular LA fitness in other location during weekdays, and I was going here signature club to work out with my friend on the weekends. And someday, I was charged $10 at entry (got an email notification I was charged). I asked the staff why and the staff said it’s because I am having regular club access not signature. I could tell that $10 was manual input by staff, because I had never been charged. So I ask what I can do to get signature club entry with no charge and staff said that I need to upgrade my membership to premium at $124 charge 🤨🤨🤨 ?!?! but I knew my friend was paying $45/mnts w/o initiation fee for signature club, and I was already paying $48/mnts w/o initiation fee….. so I asked the staff if I cancel the membership and resign up, how much will I get charged. Then the staff hesitated to say anything😂😂😂 He literally avoided eye contact and didn’t say anything. He said he doesn’t know…. Then he looked back his manager. The manager looked mad and scary 🥲. Then he finally called other staff (like the membership person). I had to ask again “so can I just cancel my membership and resign up?🙃” He sighed and hesitated to say i can, but finally admitted that I can do that. (That took so long!) Then he helped me canceling and resign up for the membership and refunded that $10 😇 I don’t know if I can say they are nice? Or bad 🤷‍♀️but definitely they will rip me off If I was not aware 🥲🥲🥲 Becareful everyone!!!!

Full disclosure: I'm a serious lap swimmer, a mile at a time. When I swim, I don't want anyone else in my lane and please don't get in my way. LA Fitness needs to let all their members know the pool rules. Everyone swims sides here unless all members of the lane agree to swim in circles. Newbies who don't know this aren't going to unless management tells them. Second, why is LA Fitness having someone clean the deck of the pool with soapy, very toxic smelling cleaners during busy pool hours? Why can't this be accomplished later in the day? Not going to recommend LA Fitness until these issues are addressed.

Arguably the worst gym in Seattle. The cost of membership far outweighs the benefits. Poorly maintained equipment. When things break they’re down for ages. And good luck if you want to get a decent workout in between the hours of 5p-8p. The place is so packed you spend more time waiting for equipment or searching for matching dumbbells than exercising. The only reason I’ve given this place 2 stars is because the staff is great. Corporate needs to rethink this location. I’m at my tipping point here and on my way out.

The facilities are technically fine and the classes were great. And I want to give a shoutout to the unfailingly kind employees at the front desk, all 2 of you. The rest of the staff is pretty abysmal and do their best to foster the opposite of an enriching space to work out. I found a new gym after overhearing commentary directed towards my physicality from the front desk workers. 1 star for motivating me to find a better gym. Thanks LA Fitness!

Great gym don't get me wrong. Except the hot tub and female sauna has been broken way before I joined. That was 4 months ago and they keep saying someone is coming to fix it next week. However, the rest of the gym is nice and upbeat . I highly love the salt water swimming pool, but I do wish the sauna was working. Huge reason I choose this gym to begin with.

I recently decided to embark on a fitness journey, hoping to transform my dad bod into something that at least resembles a distant cousin of a Greek god. Naturally, I thought joining a gym would be the first step in sculpting my physique. Little did I know, I was about to enter the graphite-free zone of gains, where squeaks echoed louder than my grunts and the scent of rust wafted through the air like a not-so-pleasant reminder of neglected maintenance. Upon entering, I was met with the friendly smiles of fellow gym enthusiasts, blissfully unaware of the auditory torture awaiting them. I sauntered over to the weight rack, ready to impress the gym-goers with my impeccable squat form. Alas, my dreams of a silent, majestic descent were shattered by the ear-piercing squeak of the bar against the rusty metal. It was as if my gym buddy was a prehistoric pterodactyl screeching in protest. The lack of graphite lubricant turned every workout into a symphony of metallic complaints. Picture this: a room full of determined individuals, each attempting to focus on their lifts, but all you can hear is the rhythmic cacophony of rusty repetitions. It was like a poorly choreographed dance of discomfort, set to the soundtrack of neglected maintenance. As I moved to the bench press, I couldn't help but marvel at the improvisational jazz ensemble my fellow gym-goers unintentionally created. Every press was accompanied by a unique squeal, a musical journey through the spectrum of rusty notes. I half-expected a conductor to emerge, waving a can of graphite in lieu of a baton, attempting to bring harmony to the metallic chaos. In conclusion, if you enjoy the nostalgic serenade of bygone eras and believe that the true measure of a workout is the decibel level of your equipment, this graphite-free gym might just be the perfect fit for you. As for me, I'll be searching for a gym that not only challenges my muscles but also spares my eardrums from the symphony of squeaks and rusty reps.

The new management is slacking, for a signature LA Fitness they are not having small towels ready for peak hours in the afternoon, also they run out of paper towels so no way to disinfect the machines during a pandemic, this is why we are paying to an exclusive gym to get this treatment? So disappointed

I came to this location to cancel my membership - i no longer used my membership and did not want to have any additional charges. Come the 1st of the month I am charged from both accounts. I called to ask why I was charged if I had just come into the gym to cancel my membership. The manager would not give me a reason, just repeating that I needed to call corporate ??? If you’re a manager shouldn’t you know what went wrong on your end? Then she HUNG UP on me instead of helping any further! Will not have any further memberships with LA after the terrible service I received from this manager. At least know how to do your job correctly.

Change to FIVE STAR for their clever trick! For their service is ZERO star. I was told explicitly that membership comes with free 2 guests per visit then I signed up with them. After few months, I was told that I could not bring guests. If I want, they can help to upgrade for me with EXTRA COST. I suggest everyone to record and video your conversation when you sign up, and then read your contract carefully to make sure you can see what they say is the same as the contract. I've heard it's hard to cancel their membership, they're going to put up a lot of hurdles, and I'm going to try it out soon. If you are also experiencing problems with them, please also submit your complaints to the BBB.

No hot water. Leaking roof. This winter this place has been a disaster. They don't seem to value their customers. For 2 weeks, you can't take a shower and they don't even offer any discount or credit. Going to look elsewhere.

Great gym, could be cleaner in certain areas like locker room fountains and under the stairs/ floors in general. Wouldn’t recommend taking them up on the free personal trainer session, mine took over an hour and it was mostly spent talking to the person trying to bait me into the program. Otherwise, I absolutely love this gym and the cycle classes are the best.

For this price it's the best option in Seattle, given what it includes. Tons of machines, amenities, classes, friendly staff, easy parking. I'd say the bathrooms and shower facilities are clean enough, but not immaculate. Biggest gripe for me is when the sauna, pool or hot tub break and need repairs, they often take weeks to get fixed.

I joined this gym 6 months ago and immediately knew I was going to regret it. The whole process feels slimy. They ask for 5 friends or family members' phone numbers so they can also get their info and contact them. They try to lock you in before you know any better. I've tried going at 6am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm and no matter what time it is, I can't get any of the equipment I want because it is too crowded. No stair steppers, 15/20 lbs dumbbells, benches, pull up bars, etc. It's also dirty and gross, no one wipes down any of the machines and no one seems to care. I'm not going to a gym to wait in line for the equipment.

I've been coming to the Ballard for a few years and it's been on a slow path of decline. The customer base is growing, and the gym is getting more and more crowded, but the operations seems to be struggling to scale to the growing customer base. -->Equipment is often in disrepair, some of the popular cardio equipment is dated and failing often. I've seen the same piece of equipment fail over and over again but it remains there. --> The two most popular cardio machines (stair climber and elliptical with adjusting ramps) are few and often full while a dozen or so lower end elliptical and stair masters are always empty. For some reason LA Fitness is not seeing the obvious customer desire and they're not responding by providing adequate equipment. -->They're making improvements on cleanliness, but with so many people crowding some things need to scale. There should be more adequate means to clean/sterilize equipment between users. And the locker rooms could use more frequent checks... especially the showers. --> People are always waiting for a bench in the free weights area, and there's no response in equipment changes to accommodate customer needs. -->The installed a kickboxing area in a racket ball court even though more regular gym space is needed. Corporate is clueless as to what customers want. --> The showers nominal, usually cold. The hot water heater has been broken for years. The only reason I keep my membership is because I use other locations when travelling. I'm about to pay for a second membership locally to avoid having to come here.

There are a few things that would make this gym better. For one, there is no swim suit dryer for after use in the hot tub which doesnt make any sense. For two, not enough clips for the bars in the equipment area. I find myself often looking or waiting turns this would benefit the people that workout solo. Lastly I find it very common the gym is out of paper towels when cleaning hands. Change all of these things and the gym would seem more accommodating to the guests. Otherwise I would say it's a large spacious gym, that's kept fairly clean.

+ very friendly, smart, helpful staff (maybe that's just Seattle) + huge + good machines + showers have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash + separate lock boxes for valuables + great price, excellent value + free parking on premises + free fast WiFi, no password required + facilities and machines are cleaned throughout the day + lap pool, hot tub - the works + squash/racquet ball + very affordable "bring a friend" program +/- separate, somewhat secluded, low visibility areas for stretching and exercising +/- towels have sensors that presumably go off when a guest takes a towel outside of the facility (i.e. tries stealing a towel). At first I thought, "Isn't that overkill? How many people are into stealing gym towels?" Then I was intrigued since the cost of all those sensors must be less than the wholesale cost of all the towels stolen in an average year at other gyms. Now I am thinking, "Okay, why not? Maybe that's the future: as the cost of sensors comes down, technology will enable society to crack down on theft - which should benefit all the honest people since the damage caused by a couple if thieves us currently socialized and born by us all." - only one electric outlet for laptops or phone charging in lounge - no machine to dry wet bathing suits - most water fountains don't have bottle refill feature - round instead of square hot tub would create more space - opens late on weekends (8am) - - biggest negative: very few classes and most of them seem to be old-lady-lame. This is the biggest negative of this gym: VERY FEW CLASSES, no HIIT, etc. - atmosphere is very mellow, low energy: no grunting at the free weights, nobody excitedly rushing to class (but maybe that's just Seattle) Bottomline: excellent gym, excellent facility, excellent value - but you're basically on your own: don't expect much in terms of classes, high energy instructors, and high intensity, fast paced group experiences to a throbbing beat (but maybe that's...)

Probably the worst LA fitness I’ve been to. Already a small space but they block of a big central part where trainers can kick you out at any time. No spray bottles for the last 2 months, cell service is bad and the Wi-Fi is terrible, no water bottle fill up station, basketball court is always really dusty, and on and on

I belong to this LA fitness before in Ballard a few years ago but had to stop because I had foot surgery and could not swim for quite a while and wasn't working and couldn't afford it. I really really glad to be back here. I really like their facility. The parking garage that you park in is on the same floor as the elevator that you take. What they're not real clear about is that if you want to go to LA fitness you hit the 5th floor button. Not where it says the other stuff and I got all confused again go in there. So if you ever go to LA fitness in Ballard you go into the entrance. It says LA fitness and you hit number 5

I've been going to this gym for awhile. There's good basketball being played although it can get ratty at times. I recently did a personal training with Derek Dean. As a former collegiate athlete, I was super impressed with his workouts. I have been in the gym most of my life and can say I've never seen any of the workouts we did. Shoutout to Derek, definitely impressed!

The music is too loud. A lot of people wear ear buds and I have to wear ear plugs, so no need for the volume being so high. A few machines were broken. If you join on a weekend, there's no one to show you how to work the machines and I was told to ask other members for their help which is not great. If I want to use a chest press using cables, it's rare that I can do that as the machines are multi use, so two people are using it for different exercises and stay in for an extended time, the handles are missing as they've been changed out, or they are different ones on each side. There's no consistent and easy way to report a broken piece of equipment. You have to find a staff member and pass it on. When I reported broken equipment, no-one checked the equipment in my presence to confirmwhat is wrong, wrote anything down, or attached a check equipment note to it. When I checked machines at later dates, I didn't see any repairs. They do have cleaning fluid in spray bottles and paper to wipe down equipment which I like. I wish there were more tables around the place by the paper towel dispensers that they could have the spray bottles on.

I like that the gym memberships are reasonable, they have a lot of decent gym equipment, pool, sauna and showers. The staff is also friendly and they have an awesome smoothie bar. The downside is that this gym is incredibly busy and I almost always have to sit around waiting for equipment which is frustrating and makes my workout take longer than it should. The "free personal training" session they give you is more like a sales pitch and the trainers can be annoyingly aggressive about signing you up. I also don't like that they started charging extra to use gym towels.

Despite COVID they are doing great making sure there is plenty of opportunity for social distancing as well as disinfecting. There is an outside cleaning service that is seen walking around the gym spraying and cleaning. Plus they give EACH member their own private spray bottle with disinfectant to use before and after using each piece of equipment. Masks required

Pool and other equipment is regularly maintained, and the gym is kept very clean. Great community of lifters in there too!

I currently go to Fitness 19, which is very basic and doesn't have a pool, hot tub, or sauna. Seeing an offer for a coupon for a 7-day free trial, I came in to try out the "nicer" gym to see if it was worth switching. While the sauna was nice, the hot tub was broken. Overall I found the gym had worse equipment than fitness 19 and was so busy that it was harder to get access to the equipment. After the 2nd day of the trial I was informed that the trial would not be for 7 days, but only three. When I told them that this was not what they promised and that this was false advertising, the representative did not seem to care. Even if I had found the gym to be worthwhile otherwise, I would not want to join a gym that starts out their relationship by lying to their customers. Update: after complaining to corporate and local seeing this review, they both reached out to me and gave me a two week free pass. I've gotten a chance to try it some more. I still find it too busy most of the time and that it doesn't have a good variety of cardio equipment (e.g. no ARC trainers). Increasing by one star because they worked to correct things.

I’m paying for a membership so why do I have to listen to ads on the PA system?

Not only did Alex help me find a place to read the terms and service agreement of the wifi, she lied to me about where her boss was. For me to complain about an incident that happened in the locker room does not make me feel good. I discussed with the janitorial person about almost tripping over what he was utilizing to clean, all he could say was, GOOD.... THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! In addition to that, there was another employee on a ladder fixing something above everyone's head that was working out. What is wrong here? I'll tell you. They needed some more safety classes? I do not wanna feel like something might hit me from above when I am working out. You should be on top of your word when it comes to the hours you issued on their website. I am a former Marine Corps Professional talking good things about this club only to be DISGRACED by the clients I want to bring here. I about LOST a person I met at Seattle Central Collage while starting my non profit organization called KOTRTC, (Knights of the round table charity) as a client. He was really excited to start lifting weights for the first time ever in his life, only to be angered that the hours I told him did not match up with the credentials I gave him. He picked me up at my house and brought me to the gym only to find out that it was locked. We tried two different levels. P2 and P4. This hurts my words as a person since I like to keep my word to myself and to my clients. It bring me to say I will have to think of a different place to work out. This is a nice looking gym with great amenities. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash could all be upgraded though. As of now I do not recommend this establishment to anyone wanting to feel good about themselves being in a SAFE PLACE.

Didn't want to listen when I sent my girlfriend in for her vip guest pass. Just kept pushing a membership. She was really hoping to try it out and see if she liked it. Very disappointed.

Alex is amazing and the staff here are super chill. Probably one of the busiest gyms I’ve ever seen. Props to all the staff for keeping up with running this place. Don’t forget the janitorial team for keeping the place clean and sanitized. They don’t get enough credit and recognition for that. :)

This gym changed my life. It was the greatest gym that I have ever been to. I saw results overnight. Gabby was phenomenal out of this world. Would highly recommend signing up with the general manager gabby, she was great!

Had a great experience with trainer Gabrielle. Definitely going to be feeling it tomorrow, decent amenities at the gym and clean. She definitely works you hard and doesn’t waste time which I appreciate!

Jazmin is the best here. She is great providing a decent customer service and she answered all of the questions we asked. We weren’t sure if we wanna join LA fitness, but we ended up joining it because of Jazmin!!! Thank you!

Miss Jazmin the amazing and talented GM here at the Ballard location has made me feel at home. For someone who doesn’t visit this location to often she has treated me with such grace and love that I’m considering making this my home gym even though I live a city away. I appreciate how she leads her and her amazing staff here at the Ballard location. Definitely recommend.

I have a gym membership for years and paying my bill on monthly basis but I don’t use it and after along time, I decided to go and do some exercise but I was treated very unprofessionally and with clear discriminative behavior at the front desk. I request the customer service agent to log me in first he talked in the phone for 5 minutes and after taking my phone number to log me in. He was very rude and disrespectful with out any reason and asked for $10 to let me in the gym and forcing to upgrade to signature club but I was never told that I can not use this gym and I drove for 25 mint to get the gym and drove back home25 minutes and the agent who was working there was a white guy but he was very unprofessional and rude. He could let me know in a nice way and let me to workout while the gym was not rush and I pay every month.I decided to cancel my and my family membership for 5 people.

Ive been a gym rat and being going to different gyms for over 15 years and this one certainly hits below the mark. Gym desperately needs an update. Much of the equipment is either "scheduled for service" or actively not working properly. Bolts missing, mechanical joints on machines broken, glide rails dry. Dust bunnies everywhere! Speaking with some of the members and the thoughts are mutual.

I recently joined LA Fitness, and I can't say enough about the outstanding experience I've had, thanks in large part to the amazing staff! Gabi especially has been incredibly kind and supportive. She has gone above and beyond to ensure I have the right guidance and encouragement to reach my fitness goals. I wholeheartedly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive fitness environment. It's a five-star experience all the way!

Been going to this location for close to a year now. Seems like there’s someone newer in the front in that last few months, she’s been great. She kinda seems like a manager, and the vibe has been more positive since I’ve seen her more and more. Always offers a towel, every time and says hello to everyone. Feeling welcome at the gym can be really important for folks, and she definitely is on top of it.

There is no type of customer service at this Ballard. I have called on several different days and even multiple times today but cannot get any help or honestly any fair treatment from them. I paid for a membership that allows access to LA Fitness and City Sports but the staff here refuses to acknowledge the membership. When they look up my account and see that it is in fact for multiple clubs, they act like they don’t know what’s going on and ask if I can be placed on a hold. The hold never ends and is just a way for them to escape the conversation. I recommend that you sign up at a different location even if you plan to use this location. The reason being is that LA Fitness has a business model where the club you sign up at is your home club and all customer service questions must go to them so to avoid a staff that will disrespect you and just leave you on hold I recommend a different club as your home location.

Gym has good equipment however try to avoid peak times if you hate crowd. Personal trainer package is a pure rip off. Staff is nice until you sign up for the package. Some trainers don't even look fit. They even lie about their schedule and make you come at their own convenient times. If you cancel in the middle you will have to pay 50% of balance fee. I urge everyone to think twice before considering the PT package. One free PT session for all the members is a bait. Don't fall for it and end up paying big chunk of money like I did . They act nice and spend time more in that free session to attract you. Honestly you are not going to get any value out of 25 min session for 70$. Staff is clue less and orchestration is very poor.

While I cringe at being limited to only a 45 min workout during the Covid apocalypse, I appreciate the hard working people at LA fitness in Ballard. The facility is clean, efficient, and following the phase 1 rules. My Pecs, stomach, Gluts and overall health/wellbeing appreciate you.

Discovered this particular LA Fitness not that long ago. It is the cleanest facility I have found, as well as the most useful to me... They have a pool, which was CLOSED during COVID-19, but recently reopened. Looking forward to trying. It is not crowded, very spacious! Lots of room to spread out. Friendly staff. SO grateful LA FITNESS is still OPEN All the best, Eva

The equipment is in great shape. Can be a little crowded first thing in the morning but after 7:30am it's easier to get your workout in. The location is great and there is plenty of parking as well!

Great location and a great space. I couldn’t work out for months because of the pandemic and they really worked with me and my budget. Also got a complementary goal evaluation and workout with pt named Brandon and he came in AFTER HIS SHIFT to do a workout with me because it was the only time I could fit it in my schedule, and he did it even after he knew I couldn’t fit a pt in my budget! That’s dedication and passion. Anyways, highly recommend this place and would totally get a pt if I could swing it.

Personal trainer Joey gave me a harder workout in 20 minutes than I have had in years. He explained the process of everything thoroughly in a way I could understand. We developed a routine that will help me reach my fitness goals quicker. Glad I joined.

Music and constant running ads are TOO loud! The staff says they have no control over volume because the advertisers help fund them. I always wear ear plugs there and it is still way too loud.

  • 3/5 Izzy M. 4 years ago on Google
Customer friendliness is not a high priority , if that’s your thing. Equipment and amenities are on par for a city, nothing extreme, but also not like a hotel gym. Roll the dice if you want to go early, the staff are on time about half the time. Wish they’d open earlier, but I’m sure they’d miss opening the gym at that time as well.

Mornings are best to get the machines and free weights since lesser crowd. But the energy from the 5pm-7pm crowd will make you push yourself.

I had a super easy sign up process which allowed me a free training session with Derrik. He was very informative and helpful in providing me with catered workouts toward my sport. He knows what he’s talking about and overall provided me with a great workout/experience at the club!
