This place is probably one of the few Starbucks that doesn’t have loads of homeless people around in downtown seattle. The staffs are great, always welcoming, and the atmosphere is relatively above average considering it’s downtown seattle. There are occasionally a few homeless people on the street around but in general this place is clean, plenty seating, and very comfortable and safe around.

There are two Starbucks I frequent when in this part of town (usually just around PAX), and this one consistently completely ignores the requests on the order and just makes a standard whatever was ordered. Every. Time. Doesn’t matter if they’re busy or empty or who is working. Usually not a big deal but today I took my drink back up to say they forgot everything again and the dude just dumped some cinnamon on top and handed it back to me (I did not even have cinnamon on it..). Then when I was like ‘this is cinnamon not pumpkin’ and he just shrugged and said it’s the same thing. Rude. I’ll try to remember to only go to the other one from now on.

Great location and staff here. Big Starbucks with plenty of seating as well as full service of items.

100% great service. The baristas are so nice. I split my coffee and they are so nice to help me clean it up and offer me a new cup of coffee.

Walked in a little after 8 am. Not busy, there was only one other customer in line placing an order. I walked up behind him as he was giving his order to the cashier. About a minute later a couple came in and got in line behind me. When it was my turn to order, the cashier told me the line formed the other way and pointed for me to go to the end of the line which was now 4 or 5 people. Apparently in her mind even though there was no one else in line when I arrived I was supposed to walk to the other side of the store and enter the line from the right side instead informed just walking directly to the counter. Since the cashier knew which way I had come from she had to have known I was actually there before the other people in line. And to make it worse instead of saying “he was here before us” the couple behind me stepped in front of me and placed their order. I just turned around and walked out at that point. Can’t believe I’m wasting time writing this review but the whole situation was extremely annoying.

Very good Starbucks connected to Grand Hyatt hotel (and across the street from Hotel Theodore). Coffee and customer service is usually good and generally not as crowded as the Starbucks at 5th and Pike. Lots of people staying at the hotel and convention goers come here (watch your stuff- I was there the other day and it appeared a customer had something stolen (the police were there talking to her), while this Starbucks does not get as many homeless as the store at 5th and Pike homeless people do come here on occasion (i saw one homeless person get evicted and another steal a sandwich and leave the store). There is no bathroom inside the store - you have to get a key card in the hotel lobby.

Great spot. Nice seating area. Part of a hotel building so bathrooms where a bit off from the dining area. Coffee was good but the prices keep going up (as with everything these days, right?).

This is my favorite downtown Starbucks. Love the atmosphere, the music, and the environment. The employees here are the best and are so friendly. As an added bonus in the back of the store is a pizza vending machine that is pretty good.

I wanted take a moment to thank Rachel for a stand out experience. I have never had a barista learn my name so fast, and they made my drink perfectly too!

Pretty upset how they skipped, basically forgotten my order.. 10 mins waiting and watched every party order, receive and leave the store.. when i confronted all I got was "sorry, ill make it right away" what about my time? I feel more training needs to be done Including responding to mistakes to continue happy relations

Staff is friendly and quick. Indoor seating is open. Prefer coming here over the other Starbucks around the corner. I do wish they were open later than 5pm though!

They were fully staffed at 9am on Sunday morning and service was quick and efficient. There was a place for 4 to sit which was really useful for our party.

I never go to Starbucks but I wanted something for breakfast really quick and it is right across the street from the hotel I am staying at. The lady who took my order was nice. I ordered a iced matcha latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese. The latte was pretty good not super sweet and the bagel was toasted and tasty, can't really go wrong with that.

God, it takes them long to take the order! We were staying at The Grand Hyatt and we wanted to have some morning coffee with pastries and despite short queue (4 people ahead) it took about 10-15 minutes to even place an order. Another 15 to deliver. People ahead and ourselves we didn’t have any sophisticated asks. Coffee, some pastries and egg muffins or whatever they are called. It was quite obvious that the staff were quite laidback which is ok, but not really helping the perception of the service. And the queue started to get long very fast. Well.. at least the staff were diverse in every possible way. And the coffee and food were ok. Perhaps that’s more important hence 3 stars and not 2

Expected Starbucks experience plus a touch of pandemic atmosphere with no standing or sitting allowed.

The dudes, Rickie and Reighn (might have spelt that last one wrong), have been supreme employees. These guys have been extremely thoughtful and quick to assist (even when not asked). Promise them, Starbucks. Sorry, they are in a lesser job than they deserve. They should NOT be baristas, they both should make their own store with how much mental activity and thought they give to everything and everyone.

Staff are very friendly. I went here twice while in Seattle for business and was warmly greeted coming in each time. Made my drinks and food correctly.

Great experience! Beautiful venue with friendly staff. The interior is stylish and spacious. With coffee pipes across the ceiling feeding into a variety of different machines. A great place to sit with a coffee and relax away from the busy Seattle streets.

I recently worked at Emerald City Comic Con and wandered in desperate for caffeine. Alec, in the big bow, was such an absolute angel to me. I thought my drink was possibly made wrong, it wasnt I was confused, but he made me a new one and seriously made my day. Top notch personality and customer service from Alec.
