I questioned the combination of black tea, strawberry and chocolate as it was, but adding cheese on top? Never. Anywho - I had to have it because it was so different for me. The cheese foam was delicious, I’d have it by itself if I could. The tea and chocolate were a great combination and the strawberry cut the drink with a bit of sweetness. A delightful combination of sweet and savory. 10 out of 10, a must try. I’ll be back.

Ordered the matcha ube and the caramel Thai tea. The matcha drink was great but the Thai tea was nasty. Original we would like to give one star based on the drink, but later on the girl offered to remake another drink because the Thai tea was not ok to drink. They remake the matcha latte and it was good. So I guess recommended the ube and the latter 😋

My all time favorite boba spot in Cap Hill and probably all of Seattle!! I can't think of any other place that serves organic ceremonial grade matcha or chaga. We're talking quality and amazing drink concoctions I've never had any where else. They use loose leaf teas, house made syrups and none of that artificial stuff. The soft serve ice cream is really yummy and they have rotating flavors. There are also take home boba kits and bottles too which I have yet to try. It's so cute and vibey, it definitely makes me happy whenever I stop by. I love that they aren't a huge boba chain and a locally owned business. Very underrated!! The people there are always so kind too. My go to is their house made pineapple (puree) matcha latte with oat milk! [12/29/2021]

Surprise find! Cute, cozy neighborhood matcha tea place on 12th Ave between E. Olive & E. Howell St. in Capitol Hill. Fast, friendly, reasonable, clean, limited seating, clean bathroom, yummy tea, boba, coffee, etc. Support your local small businesses 👍

cute small cafe serving multiple variations of matcha. you can also adjust the sweetness of your matcha easily. they had soft serve but only one flavor available (sobacha) it was much too sweet for my liking and didn’t really have much tea taste. they also had a cute point card system!

This cafe is very cute. We ordered a butterfly matcha and two house milk teas. Very delicious drinks and I highly recommend this place.

Lovely place for matcha 🍵 drinks. The space is very relaxing and clean, l like their natural interior with wooden chairs and a lot of plants 🪴. The menu is unique, with a great variety of matcha and tea based drinks, good choices of alternative milk. Friendly and helpful service at the bar. I tried “Buttefly Matcha” and I love it, well balanced drink with a bit of sweetness and a light touch of mint flavor.

My wife and I came here at 11:40am on Saturday right after they opened at 11:30. We were the first one to be there. Love the chill vibe and the cute decor in there. Atulea does a great job with their decoration. There are so many cute corners for you to sit and take pictures and enjoy the drinks. Talking about the drinks, they were reasonably priced. We had the the lychee rose milk tea and peach jasmine cheese tea and we loved it. They were delicious. The staff were so friendly as well.

Really cool place with nice vibes! Lots of selection and great service. Got the Black sugar hojicha oat latte with boba today and it was really good! This is more of a coffee/tea specialty place with a bit of boba stuff mixed into it. But overall I would recommend since there’s a lot of cool drinks to try and enjoy.

Very modern cafe with simple/minimalist interior art. They specialize in matcha tea and cheese tea. What I love about this cafe shop is that they have a lot of new flavors that are added to the menu from time to time. Their drink specialties are very unique and I find myself wanting to be adventurous and experimenting with all the varied options. All their drinks can be customized from sugar level to types of milk. The cafe itself is a bit hidden in the quiet part of the neighborhood and rather small. I'd go here all the time if I lived around here. I'd definitely recommend giving this cafe a try if you're a fan of authentic tea flavors.

Cute place @shopatulea for a quick catch-up with friend! I thought the matcha + butterfly pea flower combo is pretty unique and actually turned out nice. The sweetness level could not be adjusted, but it wasn’t too sweet!

Literally some of the best boba everrrrrrr. they use high-quality ingredients and are not one of those coffee shops that have matcha on the menu cuz it's popular, they actually know how to make it without it being watery or bitter (or worse... matcha chunks in ur drink 😬). the boba is always on point. Not to mention the interior is very Instagrammable and cute. The location is conveniently right next to Cal Anderson and they're the only place i've been to that does the cheese foam right plus they have a vegan cheese foam. AND the alt milks are free of charge. Ok i'll stop but they are a small, local, and Asian owned business and you should definitely consider shopping here.

Heard about this insta-friendly place and stopped by this afternoon to grab boba tea here while I was in the neighborhood! Loved the vibrant vibe when i walked in with plants and bamboo furniture.. the decor is very good.. we ordered the matcha mocha (50% sugar) and lychee rose (25% sugar) with boba! Both the drinks were good but i found the matcha mocha too sweet inspite of 50% sugar! They also offer their loyalty card which is very good so customers can come back. I loved their Lychee Rose though their black tea is delightful. Would recommend coming here if in the neighborhood!

Super cute coffee shops with an amazing selection of beverages. Their website doesn't have menu but if you click on "order online" you'll see what they have. I tried Chaga Mushroom Latte ($6.20) and a Banana Milk Latte ($6.25). The first one was surprisingly good, didn't taste like anything specific. The banana latte is amazing and you can definitely taste the banana milk flavor.

Such a cute coffee shop! The matcha latte was my fave. I got fruit teas for the kids. They have pastries and soft serve as well. The little gift shop is adorable. Great friendly girls up front. It's small in there but we were able to grab a table for a quick bite. Great vibes overall.

This bubble tea shop sells some accessories and has a couple of tables. There are 3 tables so best to grab a drink to go. It is a cute plant theme place. The drinks can be customized. The cheese cream here was a little too salty for my taste. They also have a punch card system.

Love the decor of this place. Colorful and cozy. Tried their Uber latte and hojicha black sugar latte with boba. Both tasted really good. Ube brownie was a nice treat. It wasn't too sweet and paired well with our lattes. Parking was a little difficult to find in the area. But the drinks were worth the effort to find parking 😁

Atulea is one of the best coffee shops for matcha and asian-inspired drinks in the Seattle area. Such a cute atmosphere with the decor and plant vibes! I got the peach jasmine cheese tea. It wasn’t too sweet and quite refreshing .

Absolutely the best boba place in Seattle!! Highly recommend the hojicha milk tea and the matcha butterfly. Their ice cream is also 10/10. I love the atmosphere and the staff too.
