On my recent visit to NYC, I was so enchanted by this store that I went three times. I could have bought a lot of stuff, but I didn't really need anything. The prices were better than the mega Japanese store Mitsuwa or other Asian stores I frequent in Chicago. I ended up only buying a food-shaped eraser for my daughter and a few Mochis. The young woman working at the front counter was super nice. This shop is a wonderful addition to the West Village!

I love this place! I'm so glad it opened. I love to cook and make my own Ramen at home so now I can get all the ingredients I want in one place to create several flavors. The variety of products and snacks here is amazing! I can't wait to go back. It's almost as good as being in a grocery store in Flushing 😍. I wish Yomata would add a fresh produce area so I could get my favorite Asian fruits here too. I would stock up even more than I already did 😂.

Expensive! The entire store is filled with authentic Japanese items. Not a tourist attraction. Do not come here to browse, only if you are serious about purchasing. Ranging from frozen foods, snacks, dry goods, stickers, household items, and Cosmetics. I found a variety of Matcha tea but expensive.

DISGUSTING Silly me, I thought I was a normal person and going into a store to look for a TikTok Mascara. I’m going to the beauty I’ll and not two seconds later a guy starts fiddling with the beer bottles and I realize that I’m being profiled. I literally was in there for two seconds looking for mascara I wasn’t even close to the product not that that should’ve made a difference.

Excellent selection of food and bath/shampoo products imported from Japan. Much more than just a convenience store. The employees are helpful if you have questions about product recommendations or where to find something, which is nice since many item labels are in Japanese.

Great selection of Japanese items. We even found Pretz flavors we never saw in Japan. There is more than just food available. A variety of toiletries, kitchen utensils, and cookware is also for sale. It's really worth your time if you're missing something or other from your time in Japan. Highly recommended!

I walked by this Japanese store and couldn’t help but stepping in…and it was an incredible experience. The store has amazing collections of many things, eg. makeup stuffs. I will go back❤️

Full on Japanese grocery, pharmacy, beauty products, and stationary store. There are so many cool items. We spent almost an hour walking around and picking out stuff to try. Highly recommend and the staff is super friendly.
