After
sitting
in
Lincoln
Tunnel
traffic
trying
to
get
through
NYC
for
an
eternity,
we
were
hungry.
We
stopped
at
the
first
New
Jersey
Turnpike
rest
stop
in
Secaucus.
However,
their
overpriced,
microwaved,
coffee
shop
offerings
were
depressing.
I
checked
Google
and
realized
there
was
a
diner
close
by.
In
fact,
I
realized
that
we
could
just
walk
out
the
back
gate
of
the
rest
stop,
hang
a
left
and
walk
about
200
yards
and
there
it
was
-
in
a
different
world
than
the
Highway,
traffic,
and
rest
stop.
It's
just
what
you
think
a
diner
should
be.
What
a
relaxing
break
after
the
stress
of
heavy-traffic
driving
on
a
hot
morning.
The
first
thing
I
saw
walking
in
were
the
cakes
and
pies.
The
menu
is
full
and
the
prices
blew
me
away.
If
I
stayed
on
the
Highway,
I
would've
spent
more
on
greasy
fast
food
that
I
wouldn't
have
enjoyed.
The
staff
was
incredibly
friendly
and
I
could
tell
they
knew
most
of
the
folks
in
there
-
truly
a
local
spot.
The
coffee
was
good
and
endless
and,
you
can
see
from
the
food
photos,
the
value
is
outstanding
and
everything
was
amazing.
We
took
half
of
it
home.
I'm
glad
we
found
this
spot
and
I
recommend
it
for
anyone
heading
that
way.
