The hotel is very clean, the host speaks excellent English, is not more than a five minute walk to the train station or a fifteen minute walk to downtown if you take the stairs to town behind the train station. The breakfasts are provided and all you can eat, and they sell beer pretty cheap if you just want to kick back and relax after a day of hiking in our around the Alps. It's easy to get anywhere from here, and if you don't like walking (why are you even here?) they give you a bus pass to get around the area entirely for free. My only complaint; the shower head on my shower kept sliding down the rod because the tension mechanism was probably abused by previous guests. 4/5 would definitely stay again.

Easily the best hospitality we've experienced in Bavaria. The guesthouse is located around 5 minutes walk from train station. We arrived relatively late, the caretakers left us a note and clear instructions to let ourselves in. Room were clean and spacious. Breakfast spread was the best, table was already assigned, we enjoyed it very much. We met the caretakers in the morning who spoke great English and she provided us with a Bertesgaden day card each. We appreciate this gesture and hospitality, which saved us money and time because we could use it as a bus pass around Bertesgaden. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay. The owner had made special touch even with candy on the bed. Affordable price with mountain view from the windows. All facilities working fine with nice and strong shower. Definitely will stay again soon.

Just recently stayed in ng this place .very lovely.. I have no problem with the place and location..managed by Ingrid Shaw ..I dont think she liked us..we stayed one night only..we were ready to checked out at 6 am the next day....our tour bus bus picked us up a little bit after 6 am..Ingrid Shaw did not even showed up to bid her customers good by....she has business to run.. .she has no interest on how we feel or how was our stay in her place.. .
