Used to love this place... now it seems run down. Greasy dirty toys. Broken pieces everywhere. Half-fixes in some areas. Others completely ignored. Rubber coating on the ground is crumbling.

Another great place in the city to walk, ,bicycle, fish llayground for the kids or to just hangout. Several small lakes, picnic areas and even trout fishing in season. Not even crowded on a beautiful Saturday morning. Take a break from life and visit Sedgwick County Park.

I love this park the north side is awesome for kids of any age. They even have handicap accessible equipment for kids. Highly recommend! I think maybe a few more seating areas for parents to sit inside the gated area but other than that well done!

The park itself is fun enough for the kids but most things are broken. The music area has basically been destroyed and overall the park needs updating. Lots of cracks in the plastic and the umbrellas that are supposed to provide shade are worn and torn. The walking trails are disgusting, people seem to think the area is one big trash can.

My kids always enjoy this park. They have a maze and several different areas of playgrounds, so if one is really crowded it's easy to find one that isn't. I've also seen a fair amount of wildlife here- racoons, rabbits, ducks, and geese to name a few. Also great bicycle / walking trails.

Super cute park.. my girls loved playing there. It was clean and as a parent I didn't see anything to worry about there.

Some wear and tear on the playground, but that’s to be expected with how busy this place always is… I love being able to take my toddler here and know hat there’s just one entry/exit and that she can’t get very far very fast. I also love how there’s toddler friendly and specific equipment for her size!

My kids had a blast and can't wait to visit again! Tons of fun equipment (seems it has all been maintained recently after reading other reviews), clean and stocked bathrooms, plenty of parking, water fountain for people and dogs (although was shut off in winter), play area was fenced in, there's equipment available for all ages. Some equipment is even shaded.

This park is great. For the kids, there are several areas that are age appropriate. The maze is fun to work through. For the parents, there are lots of benches and gazebos to rest at. There is one way through the fence for the security minded.

It’s a very nice park, with not nearly enough trees to be able to enjoy it. We went due to reading the great reviews, but could not enjoy it, due to the heat. There are many grassy areas where trees could be planted, but they sit empty. The heat causes the playground equipment to be too hot to the touch. Maybe if we visit Wichita in the spring or late fall it would be a better experience. Hope to return in the future and try again.

One of our favorite parks around Wichita. I love that it's gated with only one entrance. There are multiple playgrounds in one. Something for all ages.
