Beautifully located chapel above Grossostheim. You can reach the Anna Chapel via many different paths and will be rewarded with a wonderful view. The chapel is open all day and lovingly maintained.

Point 3 on the circular hiking trail to the stone monuments of the Zahn families. Wonderful panoramic view over the Bachgau. Is a nice bench on a platform under a tree and a seating area in the sun. Nice places to stay and relax. The chapel was even open and you could go in. This is really very rare these days. An information board gives you all the information you want to know about the chapel.

View from the Anna Chapel into the Bachgau: Find peace and enjoy the view of Aschaffenburg Castle, like King Ludwig once did. The background is framed by the Spessart - the Bavarian, the Hessian, with good visibility you can see the Feldberg and in front of it the Frankfurt skyline.

At the Annakapelle you have a wonderful view of the Spessart and the city of Aschaffenburg with the towns Großostheim, Pflaumheim and Niedernberg. The chapel itself is a haven of peace.

Nice little chapel with benches for resting or sheltering from storms. The outdoor area is kept clean and trees provide additional protection.

Wonderful viewing spot with a view as far as Frankfurt. There is now even a bench to admire the landscape.

The view from up there is great - when the weather is good you can even see the skyscrapers in Frankfurt and the atmosphere is part of why I like being there

A nice walk through the Bachgau to take a break at the Anna Chapel... pause... and enjoy the view...

Very nice view of the surrounding area. Trash cans and seating are also available.
