This is my favorite park in Florida. I love to sit under the shade of the big oak tree in the middle of the beautiful grassy feild next to the lake. It's a very natural park with marshy plants by the water, a few big trees, flowers in the spring, one or two crane families, and gorgeous black crows whose feathers shine purple-blue in the sunlight. If I had to describe Davis Park in one word I would choose "peaceful".

There's three small Play structures here and they're just short walk from one another. There's public bathrooms close by. It's a great way to have some fun in the sun. I don't see a lot of kids here very often. There are several pokemon stations set up here as well. There is also 3 basketball courses close together. The walking trail is nice.

I was looking for a park to bring my 2 year old to, and I remembered this park (came here when I was younger, like 16/17) its a very spread out park but i was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty cute little set up for kids around 2 up to maybe 7 or 8. The only thing really missing was an actual toddler swing. But my son had fun on the regular swings, i just didnt push him hard. Even by himself, he was having a blast, but then a couple nice ladies showed up with their kids, who were a few years older than mine... He had waaaay more fun then. Great neighborhood. I recommend going here for sure!!

Friendly and spacious park. The pavilions are a bit older and ant infested. However it’s a great park that’s not too big if you are looking for a smaller sized park.

We love this park. Has good shade so playground doesn't get too hot, and my kids love to play here. Only complaint is it needs trash picked up; often has a lot of litter.

This was a great park to walk, run and be with family. Now people are coming with dogs unleashed and they are unable to control them. Please please be careful with your kids and with the cars even with the speed bumps people drive through there speeding.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and still enjoy the energy this place brings to brandon. Definitely a hidden gym tucked away in suburbia...

Two covered pavilions are located under the shady cover of large oak trees. There are several large metal picnic tables under the pavilion. A sidewalk leads to the parking lot. There's enough parking for about 20-25 cars. Most of the parking is in a dirt parking area. There is a basketball court. There are two separate play areas. One for toddlers and one for bigger kids. The swing set only has seats for big kids. There are no baby swing sets available. The area is not fenced in and kids like to wander around the grassy area.

Nice off the way park in Brandon, with picnic benches, balance beam, swings set, a giant slide.

Cool little park. Couldn't find a bathroom though. My ferret loved the sand in the volleyball court

This was my third time here. The kids love it and have failed to notice the car full of druggies that are getting high, or having sex, right there in broad daylight... However, I have noticed and think it's a damn shame nothing has been done to stop it.

Great spot to take your dogs (friendly dogs) to run around and play! Lots of open field great for a picnic or with kids to play on the playgrounds.

It was a very good park to go to, has swings, slides for the kids, and like about 4 or 5 picnic tables. Also has outhouses at the end part of the park.

First time visiting the park with the family and it's beautiful 😍 the first park when you go in is closed in. The second park when you drive down the trail is more open Very dog friendly. Nice area to play football or any type of sport. Beautiful sunset. And a huge view to see it. Restroom was filthy. Only the woman's bathroom was open.

This is a great place to go when you exercise and also to have family get togethers.

  • 5/5 Crystal C. 4 years ago on Google
Usually has an available pavilion and has some set away from the playgrounds and paths if you want some privacy. Always has an open bathroom and it's relatively clean. Barbeque grills at the pavilions. Basketball courts. It's got a cpl pokestops if you play Pokemon Go. Only real negative is that it has a tendency to flood after a heavy rain. This park isn't usually as busy as the others in Brandon.

My kids have fun. Always a pleasure

My absolute favorite park in Brandon. Lots of open space for exercise or letting the kids run for hours. 3 different playgrounds. Not a lot of parking.

Such a cute little park. Love the nature and little bunnies I get to see here. My baby loves the playground too.

This place is bit shady!! Also is comparatively less clean. And there is lack of information avaliable here. There are 2 play areas in this park. One at each end. The play area at other side is good and more airy and clean. If you are planning to go with kids make sure you apply plenty of bug spray.. there are lot of bugs around. The place also has a basketball court and shelter a with benches. It is a very small park though and hence not good for a bike ride. But yes is comparatively good for having a descent evening walk.

My one year old found a small bag of white powder at the end of the slide. We've previously noticed that individuals who appear to be homeless sleep on the picnic tables here during the day but they have always been friendly. Twice now we have come here and not been able to allow the kids to play on the playground because the older kids (16 years and up) are hanging out on it and just stare at you when you ask (nicely) if they will move to the tables to allow the kids to play. I wouldn't recommend this park.

I love this park. It has two playgrounds and the trees make it beautiful. They have little workout stations and its pet friendly.

There are two small play sets with slides, there are picnic tables under cover and two full basketball courts. It doesn't look very well maintained and there are no public bathrooms unless you go to the senior care center a little up the road. If you want to eat under the shade of the trees on a picnic table you'll have a great time! You can bring your children too! But they won't be entertained for too long.

Perfect park - Super quiet and secluded. I do wish it was better patrolled. People drive all through the field which is horribly destructive to the swamp ecosystems around the area. FYI there is a group who come in the early morning regularly with about 4-6 dogs and run them around off leash, all through the main walking areas. While I can appreciate the freedom this park provides (I let mine off leash too), it’s only appropriate to leash them with other humans and dogs around. You may know your dogs, but other people don’t. Better patrolling would eliminate some of these issues.

It's free and it has restrooms. The 1st time the woman's was clean. Two times after that it was not and the men's seems to always be locked. Also not enough shade or picnic tables. I'd say that's why hardly anyone uses this park.
