This restaurant is not on the main Street and therefore it's not a tourist trap... It's the perfect place to go to try the local specialty (cochinillo) that is a baby roast pig. We had the set menu that was so good and highly recommend. We sat outside but they also have lots of seating inside. A visit here should be part of your visit.

A bit chaotic at arrival but the atmosphere made up for it. The food is excellent, the waitstaff friendly, the service quick, prices reasonable. Highly recommendable for people visiting segovia who want to try the classic dishes.

How can this restaurant be so well noted? For starters, the cutlery and glasses were dirty and the waiter could make use of a shower. We took different dishes like the Cremoso de patata or the Sopa castellana, both were way too salty, the pimientos were far from good. The cochonillo was ok but the burger of my daughters were not even good. The solomillo de ternera was burnt... No interest at all....

Superb The sucking pig and bean soup (lunch set) were very delicious. Must try! The service was good especially thanks for the tallest waiter for serving us. He was friendly and helpful.

You order food from a set menu here. They give you appetizer, main course, dessert and wine with your meal for a set price. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

The food was quite good, in the local Segovian style, however our service was quite rude and extremely slow. Cigarette smoke also impacted the atmosphere in our terrace table. There are better options in this price range.

This place was a bit strange. The waiters outside were not as welcoming in the beginning. We were served incorrect food. The pricing includes wine but it was not explained clearly initially. It wasn't completely their fault though, they did their best. We didn't have a reservation and were seated on the steps outside. Nearly the entire inside was empty. I think they missed our salad and never served it. The food was ok, nothing really flavorful. Overall, I would skip this place and try another location next time.

We had a lovely meal here yesterday to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The waiting staff were all wonderful and they made a special effort to make him feel really special by playing Happy Birthday and presenting him with a candle in his dessert! Thank you so much! 😊

I had a lovely meal here on my last night in Segovia; I wanted to end my stay with something "local" and I'm so glad I stumbled across this place. The food was perfectly cooked and excellently seasoned allowing the ingredients to shine naturally (I had the house specials, judiones de la granja and cochinillo, plus a deconstructed tarta de queso). The service was attentive -- the head waiter keeping a close eye on everything and making sure I understood the coursed menu -- as well as professional and warm. The outside dining is cleverly situated on a stairway so it's a unique dining experience, tucked away a bit but with the awareness of the city above and below. There's also an inconspicuous bar at the bottom of the stairs if before or after-dinner drinks are in order. Highly recommend!

Yummy in every sense! The cochinillo was sooooo tender. Everything was delicious & it was my first experience of the Ponche de Segovia & I bought some more from the patisserie later! I would definitely recommend here, you won't be disappointed

We are very lucky to find this restaurant. Although it is located very close to the mainstream, a bit hidden coz you need to go downstairs a bit. The waiters are very friendly and efficient. Only menu course available, we choose the starters-traditional soup and egg nest in cream with black truffle, very yummy! Main dish, no doubt went with Cochinillo asado, roasted skin was amazingly crispy! Plus desserts, really wonderful lunch with adorable price, highly recommend 5 stars!

Really good value, one of our cheaper dinners on this vacation and up there with the best. The cochinillo and judías (baked beans) were excellent, as was the Ponche (custard filled cake covered in marzipan)

Horrible experience. Waiters absolutely hate English speakers and I would steer far away from this place. The rudest staff I have ever encountered. I will never go back.

Good tasting food and great staff, one suggestion having an English menu would be helpful

Go here for their judiones de la granja and the cochinillo. Both are made exquisitely well and the friendly service adds to the great experience.

My husband & I had had set lunches, three to five options for each course, price was €19.9 only. The starter my husband had was a stuffed peppers, excellent choice. We chose barbecue pig & lamb as main course. Wonderful pig, the skin was so crispy and inside so tender and juicy. The lamb was also very yummy. The dessert cake was also good, not so sweet which we like. Overall, it's a good place to go for excellent food. Highly recommended.

Very fast and friendly service. While they do offer a nice menu with options for a first, second, and dessert course, the obvious choice for second course will be the suckling pig. It is simple, served in it's own juices with a crusted skin and extremely moist meat. You also get a choice of half water or wine, which means if you come with a friend or partner it's a bottle for the two of you. Overall, an amazing deal for a wonderful meal.
