I am giving this place a one star. ⭐️ have never been to a restaurant in my life where every waiter is coughing all over the place. One was blowing their nose in the middle of the dining room. Her boss asked her to step to the back and she totally ignored him. It was hard to concentrate on the food with all the coughing, sneezing and nose blowing from all the waiters. I was so grossed out that I literally took two bites and got the hell out of there. A food establishment should not have sick waiters serving food. Good presentation and flavor was okay.

Service is not the best. It was an early dinner and very few customers and we still waited a long time for someone to wait on us. I ordered fish which tasted great but full of bones. The stuffed peppers were good. We did not order bread but they brought us some and then added it to the bill. You pay for everything in addition to your entree including bread and water.

We went twice during our stay in Segovia First time we visited we, just walked in and ordered from the daily menu which you have to ask because they don't offer this menu when you sit (16 euro for 3 courses including bread and drink during weekdays) and the food and the service were incredible. We had the table facing the city and the mountains and overall it was a fantastic experience. Top quality food and excellent service. We tried then to book a table for Saturday, but we were told it was fully booked. Eventually, we were accepted by having our meal at 1pm. Saturday seems to be extremely busy for them, so the fish dish came cold. I did ask the waiter to put it in the oven for me, but they made a fresh one for me, showing that they value the client being happy, something hard to find these days. The waiter was OK but not as good as our first waiter. Warning: portions are very big! Overall, it was a great experience, top quality food, and excellent experience. If we are back in Segovia, we will be back!.

Good service here. And the most important is they serve me right after my order, they knew I’m in a hurry for the bus! That’s so fantastic! And the service waitress is so… good and efficiency!

Top notch restaurant. We went for lunch. Menu del Día. Good choices and the whole fish was excellent. Classy atmosphere and excellent service from formally dressed waiters. Recommended.

This is a must try in Segovia. We stopped in off the street. Got a table for two (at 7:30) instantly. Incredible table service. Our waitress guided us through the menu helping us choose the right dishes and wines. The roasted lamb was unreal — so good.

The staff was so nice, explain well The food was awesome, they open at 11.30 earlier compare other restaurant (13.00++) The snuckling pig was great, the beans soup best!

Cochinillo and lamb are Amazing. Lamb portions are really good. For sharing I would say. This Cochinillo is the best one I tried during my trip in Spain. Absolutely worth it.

Went on a weekday at around 6:30PM 7PM without a reservation. Still plenty of seating available. Judiones de La Granja was amazing. Honestly I loved it more than the suckling pig. Bread is 1 euro per person. Goes well with the lamb stew dish that we ordered. Overall great experience.

They say this restaurant has the best cochinillo in the world. The skin was light and crispy and the meat was so tender and juicy that you can cut through with the dish. The manager invited dad to participate in the meat cutting which was fun. The crowd went wild when he smashed the dish to the ground after finish cutting. Sopa castellana is another dish you should try. The manager/owner is super friendly. We surprised when he said that he went to Thailand many times. We left with smile and full stomach.

Nice & cozy place near the aqueduct. Incredible staff. Rabo del Toro was superb, but my wife's fish was about equal parts bone & fish. Wine decent. Give it a try!

We had the suckling pig and it was the best pork I have ever eaten. The roasted potato were also delicious. I then finished with dessert of custard and a really fine pastry.

Friendly service. We had the artichoke appetizer. It was good but the jamon was very salty. I had the sea bass. It had lots of garlic. I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected to due to the number of pin bones in it. My husband had the rabo del toro, and he said it was good with a very rich flavor.

I had the Cordero which was fatty and too greasy for my taste. The castellana soup however was a nice little treat with a glass of Sangria!

Lovely place to dine with its rustic, charming ambience. Food was just fantastic. Portions are big. Staff were attentive, friendly, paid attention to details.

I LOVED this restaurant! When we walked in the staff was finishing up their staff lunch, however, they were incredibly kind and sat us anyway. (We didn't know they were in the middle of it or we wouldn't have dared asked for a seat! But they were so kind.) I really enjoyed the white bean soup here, the friendliness of our waitress and the owner, and the ambience in the place itself. You can tell this is a family establishment. 5 Hearts in addition the stars! :) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Definitely try the lamb in this place! I only give four stars because the prices are a little high. But the place, service, food, all is very good.

It was okay. Get the dessert if you go and forget the food. Pros -great service and attentive staff -Food came quickly -The dessert, el ponche segoviano was wow. Amazing Cons -Price yikes -The meal was okayy. Salty but lacking flavor. I’d give it like a 2.5/3 -they charge for the bread -something weird happened where there was one price on the menu but then I got a different price on the bill. When I asked the waitress about it, she gave me a different menu with a different set of prices than what I saw the first time.

The restaurant is located in a central area, where most of the tourist go thru, so it is usually crowded. Staff is friendly and I would suggest in summer months sit inside as it gets very hot in the terrace. Most restaurants are for tourism so they are pricy, but usually good, this one was very fast in service and tasty food. We order the day my menu which is usually a good deal but here it was around 28€.

Ordered the set menu for 2 of us. It came with a whole bottle of wine, that’s generous. Service was attentive and speedy. Taste was on point. Nice experience. Note: didn’t check COVID passport.

Anyone who is traveling to Spain knows they will be eating well their entire trip. This held true for our quick day trip to Segovia. We had a fabulous experience at this restaurant for lunch! Located in the heart of the city, we were pleasantly greeted by a welcoming hostess and were seated on a terrace that has a beautiful overlook. Our waiter proved great recommendations for foods that we would enjoy and we were not disappointed! The judiones had large pieces of extremely flavorful chorizo and morcilla and was very delicious, even on a warm summer day. The star of the show was the cochinillo! The skin was so crispy and delectable and the meat fell right off the bone. Make sure to save the juice to dip your bread in! In terms of drinks, the house wine paired well with the meal and the coffee was a great finish to the meal. Don’t forget to save room for the ponche segoviano postre! To top off our experience, the quick service was great for anyone who shows up to the restaurant hungry and ready to eat. We would not hesitate to recommend this great place and wish to return next year!

Delicious and filling meal. Do not sleep on the roasted asparagus nor the Castilian soup. Cochinillo is a must. Try the sangria, quite sweet but refreshing.

Worth to wait, even inside, go for it. Lamb was fantastic. If you are in the season go for artichoke. You will not regret.
