Short
story:
they
left
me
on
the
streets,
briefly
after
midnight,
cancelling
my
room
last
minute,
after
long
discussions
about
upfront
payment.
They
are
abusing
Booking
as
a
platform
and
they
are
completely
unprofessional
regarding
their
reservations.
Long
story:
Don't
know
how
the
place
is
like
because
I
didn't
stay
here.
They
were
extremely
harsh
during
check-in,
when
my
flight
was
delayed
and
I
barely
made
it
to
KL
on
time
for
their
requirements
(be
there
at
00:50
no
later).
Then
they
insisted
that
I
make
the
payment
upfront
to
guarantee
my
reservation
(all
of
this
was
happening
in
the
last
few
hours
before
my
arrival
in
KL,
meaning
I
was
on
the
go).
They
wanted
cash
OR
instant
online
transfer,
and
me
as
a
foreigner
couldn't
provide
that
for
them,
cash
because
I
had
to
time
to
take
out
any
before
00:50
as
they
wanted,
and
instant
online
transfer
is
not
a
thing
for
my
banks.
When
I
confronted
them
that
they
are
being
unreasonable,
after
offering
to
deposit
my
passport
for
the
reservation
until
I
bring
cash
the
next
day,
after
also
offering
my
credit
card
to
pay
(which
they
said
won't
work
-
WHAT?
everybody
accepts
credit
cards
in
Kuala
Lumpur),
they
said
they
no
longer
have
room
for
me.
This
happened
after
midnight,
when
I
was
already
at
KL
train
station.
So
I
was
literally
ON
THE
STREET,
as
a
single
woman,
on
my
first
trip
to
Malaysia.
They
communicated
strictly
via
Whatsapp,
they
laughingly
said
that
they
make
infinite
number
of
reservations
on
online
platforms,
but
they
only
guarantee
a
reservation
to
serious
bookers,
i.e.
those
who
make
a
payment
upfront,
in
one
of
their
desired
means
of
payment
(which
by
the
way
were
mentioned
nowhere
on
their
page
on
Booking).
All
in
all,
I
don't
know
if
they
have
nice
rooms,
but
I
would
avoid
them
at
all
costs,
especially
if
I
come
from
abroad,
because
they
don't
operate
like
any
other
place
I
have
ever
stayed
at.
