Wow! I'm amazed at this restaurant's dedication to safety. Prior to dining in, guests had to do a simple COVID test using the self-test kit. Definitely gave me a peace of mind to dine in. Food was delicate and delicious French food. The servers here are very friendly and attentive too. With a tasteful choice of music streaming in the background, my experience here was very pleasant. Will definitely come back again. If you're planning to come here for dinner, it is recommended that you make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment.

Recommended by a friend to try out. JC from the restaurant is so responsive and helpful to answer all my questions through WhatsApp prior to the dinner because we have quite some request for a birthday dinner arrangement. Ambience is very good as well as the food. I love the Mushroom Risotto, Lamb Rack and the complimentary dessert. We also ordered a birthday cake (Mango Fleur) from Champignons pastries and it taste really good. The staffs are really attentive and nice. Will highly recommend this place to my friends. Shall come back soon 🙂

Champignons located at Oasis Damansara, renowned for French cuisine. Great interior design carrying pop art with modern dim lighting, table setting was perfect! Good ambience. Waitresses were attentive and helpful. Pre appetised with foie gras & port wine jelly and mushroom macaran, taste bud immediately sensitised. Followed by butter poached lobster medallion, thick and creamy smooth. Seared scallop tasted excellent together with pumpkin puree. Baked duck pithivier presented layers of foie gras and duck meat covered with crispy crust. Lamb rack tasted decent and tender. I love truffle ice cream in particular as it blended well with chocolate, with glass of pot wine. Highly recommended!

Very attentive service by the staffs , we tried the executive lunch menu that we can choose between 2 ,3 or 4 courses at reasonable price. The starter of -poultry and terrine not my favourite, but I enjoyed my main -beef tenderloin and the dessert coconut creme brûlée. The restaurants applied sop of having the patrons run their rtk before coming and they have the test kit at the entrance for the walk-in . I am excited to return and try the rest of the menu.

An exquisite lunch here! Where to start? First of all, the amuse-boche bread. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Each slice is so fresh, soft, fluffy, chewy, lovely all at the same time! And they offered a re-fill too! Don't think I've enjoyed amuse-boche breads elsewhere as much as the ones here, brought me smiles and delight at the start of my meal! The seared Foie Gras with Caramelised Fig was pretty good only perhaps just a tad bit oily for me. Trio Fish Crudo with Tomato Terrine, what a beautifully presented dish and so refreshing too, one of a kind! I did enjoy the Chargrilled Aus Grass-fed Beef Striploin - generous portions and cooked just the way I like my meat (medium to medium rare). Grilled Fish of the Day if I'm not mistaken (or recalled correctly) was a Seabass - this was decent but could not beat all the dishes I've had (including the amuse-boche of bread!). Service was really good, staff were attentive and very professional, kind and polite! Kudos to the team! Definitely recommend everyone a visit here!

Tried the business set lunch but I can’t say that it’s worth it. This restaurant has a talent for creams, so the pumpkin soup and matcha latte had a superior creamy and fluffy texture. Starter bread was good with good quality butter. But the main meals were disappointing as both their pork and salmon was under cooked. This may have been done on purpose, but it wasn’t the right decision as a cooking method. Usually, salmon tastes best when they’re flaky, slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside. But at Champignons, the salmon tasted soggy and mushy because the centre was almost rare. The wet slimy texture wasn’t appetising. The pork was not a good cut and also undercooked, which only enhanced the imperfections of the meat. Also, undercooked pork in Malaysia can contain bacteria. The panna cotta was passable but the oranges used was really sour and spoiled the dessert.

Oh …. Been a while since I had such an expensive dinner. Was date nite with my missus. Buta buta drive around and found this place frm google map. Have it a try. Spend about MYR 540 for 2 paxs. One thing to complain personally was that I was not full. I had to order pasta to fill up but heck …. Taste was nice. Presentation was nice … but kosong lorrrrrr. Ha ha ha ha ….

This little gem of a restaurant serves wonderful fine dining French cuisine in a very pleasant quiet atmosphere. The service is extremely good and so polite. Very attentive and fast. Food presentation is carefully designed to attract oohs and ahhs. Cutlery and tables are sufficiently well arranged befitting French design, although the paintings seem pro-communist! Fully recommend the green pea soup with scallops. Blending was so fine and smooth. Bread slices were delicious with rich butter, and salmon mango mousse aperitif was a surprise delicacy. Caesar's salad using gem lettuce is unusual and not for diehard traditionalists. For the main course, the beef tenderloin was grilled perfectly to the requested doneness.

Set lunch was great. Liked the Kurobuta pork shoulders, the service by waitress Emma was excellent and the ambience in the restaurant was very special.

Visited this place for dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Reservation was easy to make, and the waitress was very helpful in accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Service & ambience was great, and the food was delicious. Price is reasonable as well, especially for their seasonal menu. Made another reservation for my parents to celebrate their birthday, after I visited this place. The yuzu butter for the bread slices is a must try!!

We had their 3-course meal. The food tasted good but nothing stood out in particular. Overall, the truffle flavour was mild across all dishes. We even added on RM45 for the Wagyu main but that was under-seasoned. The service was attentive and friendly. They even gave us a complimentary dessert. Service is exceptional. The staff gave very good recommendations. We enjoyed every dish they served up. The pacing between each course was just nice.

Quite affordable French cuisine. Went for private dinner with the team. They can accommodate groups with private dining and not serving their usual menu. Some are great like their yuzu butter with sourdough, others are just okay ish.

A cosy place that’s perfect for a quiet night. Had the 5-course dinner and believe me when I said our stomach was practically bursting. The amuse bouche was appetising which made us looked forward to our next courses. Really enjoyed how refreshing the tomato appetiser was, which opened up our pallets when our mains arrived. Unfortunately don’t remember the names of our dishes as they were too French for my Asian brain. But the beef and lamb was cooked to perfection and each bite was tender and juicy. And the sorbet was the perfect way to end our meal! The staff was very attentive and professional as well. Will definitely revisit!

Attentive staff from the moment we enter the restaurant. Even though we only ordered 2 course meal but was enough for us. Food was done nicely! Would come again as we get to know from the waiter that they change the menu for business set lunch every 2 weeks.

Could finally see for myself what the hype around Champignon is about. Great quality, great-tasting dishes at a fraction of the price of fine dining places in KL - what's not to like? We tried the summer truffle 3-course menu, at a pre-tax price of rm188. Whilst my seafood pate starter was a bit underwhelming, the pork jowl risotto main and truffle gelato was delicious... I cleaned off my plate! Service, too, was flawless. Champignon is located in an assuming row of shops within Oasis Square; a rather random and unexpected choice for a fine dining restaurant, and Ara Damansara is a nightmare to get to from KL during peak hours. That said, parking is smooth and everything went very well. I would definitely want to return again and again to try their ala carte or even the degustation menu. I am already planning my next visit!

I asked a friend to recommend a western food restaurant and he recommended this. I must say our first time here worth the shout. Food was perfect and you can feel the chef was really attentive to his served dishes. Really enjoyed our time. A definite must come again.

Extremely satisfied with the food, presentation and ambience! Special mention to the staffs; super polite, cheerful and took their time to explain every dish presented on the menu, which was very thoughtfully put together. Price is reasonable and doesn’t burn a hole in your wallet, 10x better than all the overrated fine dining restaurants! Kudos. Definitely visiting again!

Had their Christmas 3 course lunch - pumpkin soup, seafood risotto and apple tart. All tasted great. Colleague recommended their yuzu butter which was unique, and went well with their bread. Seafood risotto was filled squids and salmon chunks. Overall quality food.

Excellent service from the staff, wonderful ambience and Christmasy setting. The beef Wellington was good but the seafood bouillabaisse was so so.
