My first experience of buying a diamond ring was amazing. A guy named Jeremy served me (what a coincidence right) he explained the difference Brilliant vs. Man made diamonds and my wife is super happy with the brilliant diamond she got. It's really worth the money and I'm super happy with the service and overall.

Walked into De Gem to just browse for jewellery and while it looks intimidating from the outside, I was pleasantly surprised by the service. The sales personnel are extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable despite being clueless about jewellery. Jeremy showed me everything I wanted to see without feeling the pressure of purchasing anything. Highly recommend getting your jewellery here. Their offerings are wide with various price range. I’m sure you can find something you like here with great customer service too.

My encounter started with calling in to inquire about custom making a platinum setting for a loose diamond from another seller. Despite not being in-person and not wanting to purchase a diamond ring as a whole, I am really satisfied with Mei Yee’s service and sincerity in trying to accommodate my request. Most importantly, Mei Yee is very neutral (and experienced) in her advice on diamond ring purchases, compared to many other salespersons I have encountered in other jewelers, who mostly give biased recommendations towards their own products. Valet parking is a big plus in Bangsar, and she is also very good at making one feel welcomed when visiting the shop. Having their factory directly on the higher floor gives you much flexibility and faster service if you need your ring to be custom-made for any reason. I ended up purchasing both the diamond and the ring setting together here. Getting an engagement/wedding ring is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and an enjoyable purchasing experience further enhances the meaning behind it.
