Came here because they serve Yam Ring with Sweet & Sour Pork! Indeed a well sorted out combo, you get the best of both world. The Crush of the Authentic Yam Ring was crispy and texture of Yam was soft… Sweet & Sour Pork were good too, Crispy on the outside and tender inside… although sauce not as tangy. Another dish that i liked here, is their Xing Zhou Bee Hoon… Must Try! Too bad they dont serve their Oyster Omelette like other Teochew Restaurants (Crispy version). Claypot Tofu was average.

Food quality was ok but the service was super slow. We had eaten half way and had to wait almost 20 minutes (with almost empty plates) for the dish to continue. I tried the liver roll apparently it was speciality but not to my personal liking as the liver taste is a little too strong to me. The Steam fish was ok but would be even better if some lard was used to enhance the smoothness. One of the best dish is the sugar coated yam but we were told it was small portion but when it was served it was quite huge (not sure if they placed the medium for us instead). Personally it is unlikely that I will go again as there is lack of a wow factor for me to travel all the way there.

Found it to be pretty average. Nothing stood out. The only dish which I found to be slightly better was the prawn roll. The sambal squid lack depth of flavour and the squid was kinda bland. The braised pork belly was flavourful but it was not tender. We also had a yam ring, sambal crayfish and a yam dessert. Unlikely that I would be coming back again. Service was OK. Price for 6 pax was about $260.

We had our division gathering dinner here on Thursday, 3 full tables with 888++ set menu. The high light is almost no other guests here just one or two other family dinner We planned and aligned with the restaurant staff to run our "spring wine" programs with games and lucky draw, all staff enjoyed the night. One thing worth to mention is the steamed fish was undercooked, after we feedback to the staff, the chef exchanged another new one, which is much better.

Below expectations as Teochew cuisine, food normal, ngah hiang, oyster omelette not Teochew style, fish porridge not hot…

Reasonable price Teochew food. The fried Kway teow, Yam Ring, Or nee and yam sticks are highly recommended

Ordered 3 dishes, food was okay. Not bad, not great. The "cai po olive fried rice" could have benefitted from more cai po. Yam ring and celery cashew dishes were average. Staff were accommodating even though we arrived just 45 mins before closing, so 4 stars.

Came weekday for lunch, quite empty, shark fin was terrible, rubber smell and hard to bite, order red grouper but deliver black with uncooked, complain to them and they brought in to steam again that make me stunt instead of replacing new set, hard for me to come back again.
