A small park next to Seletar Aerospace. The park has a pond which is popular with bird watcher. We saw red color wood packer in the middle of the pond, making a nest on top of a dead tree trunk. It is a good place for kids to roam around.

Enjoyed this park a lot although it is very small and a bit out of the way. There were many birdwatchers and photographers stationing near the park for rare / pretty birds. We managed to see a white throated kingfisher and 2 owls. It was a joy to everyone when the owls started kissing! SO CUTE! There was a nest on one of the trees too. But we couldn't see clearly. There was a relatively big turtle in the pond too! The park is small, took about 10 minutes to complete a round. We didn't have any professional cameras with us so we only took photos with our camera phones. It was an enjoyable day.

Though it's nice, look like it's haunted with eerie silence there. The place used to be an airbase during the early 60s days with lots of ghostly happening there with long histories. Sometimes an occasional photographer pop out from the bushes suddenly add to the fear factor there. Take a walk there near dust and you will feel the energy there. There are some black and white house eateries nearby serving HC dishes. Not sure if it's nice. If going there don't try to venture into the forest as it is dangerous with snakes and huge monitor lizards. Take care.

Beautiful park with an easy walk and a picturesque pond to take pictures and spot animals. The many photographers here with serious cameras tell you how popular this park is as a bird watching spot. I enjoyed how the park was planned such that you can easily get close to such natural beauty. 11/10 recommend for both bird and nature lovers.

Charming little park. Made up for it size with its reputation as a bird-watching spot. More bird paparazzi than birds though. A pair of resident owl couple gets more attention than a Kardashian. That said, be quiet when you're around so as to not startle the birds.

Small park in Seletar Area. Not very accessible by public transport, since there are only a few buses that come here. Not really a park per se, since it's a rather mini one. The highlight of this place is the reservoir or pond in the middle, with the plants in the middle. Bird's nest? Not too sure. You would find many bird watchers here, since there are quite a few rare bird species that occasionally pop by. DSLR, long lenses, well equipped, clothed and covered to weather the strong sun in the afternoon. You wonder how much do they actually appreciate nature. Are they going for the fame, glory, to pass time, or to understand God's creation on a deeper level? To be this fascinated by nature is indeed a fascinating thing by itself. Perhaps you might find that answer here.

Nice and quaint park with nearby colonial houses that are converted to cafes. Alot of different flora and fauna. Some migratory birds are also noted to be in the vicinity from time to time. Have to bring a telephoto lens if shooting birds as they may perch further away from the pathway. Excellent place to relax and enjoy nature.

Took a bus there and arrived around 11.30am. Just a 3minutes walk from the bus stop. Very pretty park to come for a picnic lunch -Suggest, pack your own sandwiches and favourite drink and find one of the many shady spots to enjoy the tranquility- surprisingly very quiet and restful even on a Sunday. Enjoy the flowers, trees๏ผŒ clouds and the pond. (Glad I didn't encounter any wild boars or monkeys. ) After the picnic, use the nice toilets near the children's park. Then cross the road to the nearby bus stop for the return journey. Simply sublime.

It is a small park with a pond in between. Good for a quick walk. However, there is no washroom inside the park. You need to go to a place called oval, which is only a 5 min walk away.

A smaller park - can get quite crowded on weekend mornings, though a lot quieter in the evenings. Still possible to see a number of birds there in the evenings, though. Can also be a peaceful getaway for those working in the surrounding industrial areas.

The walk is a real treat to anyone who loves sky mirror and flowers. Its small pool reflects the sky beautifully in the morning. Its nature trail is short but has many types of flowers. The Park is adjacent to Oval, where restaurants are available (only one offers breakfast), and very near colonia houses and Seletar Airport. These walk together can spend 2 hours.

Lovely and not too big park which can be covered in pretty much an hour or so. Unless one has the patience and penchant to do bird spotting then do come armed with a strong pair of binoculars and DSLR camera. Our bird spotting attempt was twarted by firstly the tortoise family bobbling their heads up in the pond followed by a din and raccous arrival of an otter family splashing their way across the pond and disturbing the tranquil peace of the area. The otters left as quickly as they arrived and mustered a few shots, felt kinda strange that they ventured in this far inland. For the insect prone, do apply repellant and wear long sleeves and pants, otherwise, the park is very well shaded and has a few stump seats for one to rest on near to the bird viewing pond

Very small park. There is wildlife there and the photographers have caught on to it. It was a photography party today and the bird wishes it had more privacy. Overall nice place but visit when going a nearby cafe. Not worth the single trip unless you like taking voyueristic photos of birds.

I accidentally discovered this wetland park. An unexpected surprise. The design of the park is small and delicate. The trail design makes it easy to get close to the tranquil nature. We really like it and recommend it to everyone.๐Ÿ‘

This is not a recommended parks to bring your whole family for hike or walks as this park is super small. However, if you are a bird watcher then you should not miss. There is pair of resident owls ๐Ÿฆ‰. You can spot them in the evening around 6-7pm, sometimes you will get to see them in the morning and they will be sleeping.

A relatively small park with wetland features. Best time is early mornings or in the evenings. Great for old folks and kids as there are no steep climbs. Close walk to the Oval where there are eateries. The Seletar Airport runway is a short walk from here too. Overall a positive experience.

Lovely place, small in size so you can complete walking effortlessly. Good and safe space to bring young child. Many bird watchers there, we saw kingfisher there. It was a cloudy day so a plus for us. Mood will probably be different if it was a hot day :s

It's possible to see wild life living on the outer edge of the city. I saw an otter. Some plants grow beautifully. However, there are no other noticeable things around the park, and the park is ideed very small. It is not that inaccessible. The buses are convenient to take. But it's around one hour from the city center to reach there.

Small park with a pond that is good for bird-watching. Saw a kingfisher diving for fish, some cockatoos, a pair of hornbills and various other species within the 20 minutes I was there. Nice stroll before or after your brunch at the various restaurants around the area.

With friends, we started a visit to Hampstead Wetlands Park this morning. We took the MRT to Sengkang followed by bus service 102. We started walking on the boardwalk overlooking a white lily pond. The park is about 3.4 hectares and took us about 1.5 hours to complete, walking and stopping to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. The place is serene with birds' calls, lots of flora and trees. Occasionally, there were planes flying above. Nearby, at the Oval, there are eateries too.

It is a beauty. There are some exotic animals like the western grebe and Clark's grebe. The flowers there are very beautiful. Also a good place to take a morning walk and there are a lot of people there bird watching

It's a tad small but the highlight is definitely the pond with tree stumps. A hot spot for birth watchers. Recommended to combine a trip here and linking it to the adjacent path, past Wheeler Estate to the other small part where you can view planes from the Seletar airstrip.

Quaint little wetlands park, timber board walk and earth footpath are built around the pond. Good for a quick 10-15 min walk before heading for the cafe nearby. Favourite spot for photographers and bird watchers.

If you are visiting the area for the cafes , have stop by this little wetlands park. We saw several kinds of birds, cat fish and turtles. But itโ€™s really small - we walked around it in less than 10 minutes. More like a backyard pond with a nice garden. No need to pack for a hike, you can make a very short circuit around the park, after a heavy meal at one of the cafes nearby.

In the middle of nowhere. Near places like Seletar airport, old mansions and afew aviation related buildings. You find a place that is just nature. A pond filled with fish, birds chirping, Lilly pads, trees and a little pond. Not what you expect to find here

For first experience it was ok. The place is rather small. Good for after meal walks but not a place where u can hang out for long. Within 30 mins max, even if u marvel the plants, u will be able to complete the whole park. But bring a binoculars and it might be an awesome place for bird watching, if u intend to hang out there for a longer time. There is a pretty green duck loitering around that attracted many's attention. Interesting surroundings of classic buildings.
