Very nice collection. From time to time they have exhibition from various artists. If there is no exhibition then the gallery will display owner's collections

This art gallery has a lot of great art stuffs. I know for some people, it can be boring. But for me although I am not an art person or someone who understands art, they are extremely beautiful and amazing. It’s located around Kota Lama. Either for education or just to kill boredom, I recommend this place to visitors who come to Semarang.

The place isn't huge. Two floors and not many artwork exhibited when I happened to be there. It was clean, there are three small couches we can sit on and relax for a bit in the middle of the criminally hot weather of Semarang. It would be a lot better if they maximize the space and put on more artwork, cause the place was definitely spacious enough and they weren't doing a good job to exhibit as many artwork as they can.. Overall, it's not bad. I personally think this place could be a 5 star art gallery if there were more artwork being presented. Also, the ticket was 20k IDR.

For contemporary art lovers, this place should be enjoyable for you! It's fascinating to see such an art scene in Semarang, I would definitely visit again with my friends. There's a small cafe called 'Blooming' nearby, which is perfect for a short coffee and cake time after the gallery visit.

Love it! The staffs are friendly. The ticket is affordable, only Rp. 10,000 / person. Even the gallery isn't that big, but I enjoyed my time there. If you love and enjoy arts, you should visit this place. But I was little bit unlucky because the exhibition officially open on 16 November so when I came, the artwork's description was very limited.

To be honest, this was a nice gallery in Semarang's kota lama. But (at least when I visited) they don't really have any noticable arts, wish they could have more installations to make it more interesting. They also only accept cash, so better prepared.

Visited the place last year and it was a pretty nice art gallery. They would exhibit different art based on the ongoing event/theme. When i first entered the gallery, a staff guided me and my friend throughout the gallery and explained the exhibits to us

They only accept cash payments. Interior design is nice but the air circulation was minimum so the place is hot and stuffy.

You can find the art exhibition in this place. It's an empty building before but since 2011 till now there's so many artist who attend the solo exhibition. You can freely take photo & video in this museum.

The size of the gallery are OK, not so big, not so small. It's pretty crowded in holiday and week end. It's way much more comfortable the other day (quiet, more privacy, more FUN). The only good art museum in Semarang. This is legit. They even have REAL Picasso's but it's locked in the manager's office.

This art gallery is located at the Kota Lama. Not too small. Not too big. Just perfect for an intimate art showcase, gallery and performance. Its old colonial building even bring a warmth atmosphere to the visitors and adding extra melancholy taste to the art. I went there to attend a cozzy jazz performances by Eva Celia and Kunto Aji. It was just awesome. Really clean. Well maintained building and the staff are great. Security staff is also professional but friendly at the same time. I think there should be more promotion towards school and university so more youth are exposed to art and creativity field.

Beautiful space—using an old building as a modern contemporary art gallery. They also have a small little garden that showcases very interesting Indonesian contemporary art.

Have you ever visited an art gallery? If you haven't, go try to visit one. I may not a big fan of an artwork, but I do enjoy it! Semarang Gallery is located at 'Kota Lama' area, behind The Spiegel Building and The famous 'Gereja Blenduk'. One of the recommended art gallery, especially at Central Java.

Hey, can I give you guys some feedback? So, I remember when this gallery used to be free, but I don't mind paying now. Compared to other galleries, the ticket price is pretty reasonable. However, I don't think it's worth it. The gallery isn't that big, so there aren't many collections. I breezed through it in under 10 minutes. But, that's not even my main gripe. I could've hung out for hours checking out the art, but it was too damn hot in there! Mind you, I visited on a Saturday night, and even the staff at the entrance asked if I was sweating like crazy. They said the AC is only on during special events. I get that you guys gotta make money, but could you at least turn on the AC on weekends? Would be much appreciated!
