Don’t bother going there anymore. The owner changed the menu, raised the prices and start cutting corners. Last time they don’t charge for takeaway, now they do. And I am a frequent customer of this place and I always buy their fried rice. It used to come with the meat and a fried egg and the rice is fried with egg and ham. Now the egg is missing and the fried rice is just rice and egg. I’m very disappointed as a loyal customer and won’t be going there anymore. For those who frequent this store, don’t bother anymore. Increase price, still compromise on the quality of the food.

Bad experience today with the food quality, staff attitude and experience overall is so-so but the food though like in so many years that I have eaten and ordered from Char-Grill Bar, I have never seen such sub-par standard quality of food. Even I can compare this to XW Western Grill and it seems like they could be buddies. Things that I found out: - Food portion is not adequate to the price paid. - Sauce is lacking. - Aluminium Foil is mixed together with the chicken. Come on what the heck is going on with CGB man? Horrendous disappointing experience. Ordered delivery and this came. Tomato sauce baked rice is basically DRIED FRIED RICE. No sign of tomato sauce AT ALL. As for the mushroom soup that comes in set bundle (as seen standing at less than 2cm tall in the container) . ITS so LITTLE that I thought its mushroom sauce for the grilled chicken.

The staff at this stall demanded extra CNY charge of $1 even though their official poster only mentioned CNY charge from 22-23rd Jan. Not a way to do business and cheat their customers. The management should check on the integrity of their staff.

the food is ok, there are varying price points for the food. usually, i just get less expensive options like the fried rice. its like your typical coffee shop stall.

Previous: $6.50 for this fried chicken chop/cutlet is super value, tasty and satisfying! Now: still okay lah for $7.50, up by $1 📈

Simple instruction cannot understand. Order came wrong. Chef purposely make the food super salty and pepperish, unwilling don’t cook please. Go at your own risk, chef might have spat in the food??? Super bad staff and chef attitude. Don’t even deserve 1 star!

Disappointed for this stall..fried rice w lamb chop 5.50 price is cheaper..but the food especially the lamb,only 2 bites..and the egg extra hair for my meal..hope this stall have to think abt it..

Ordered black pepper chicken chop. Cost $6.50. Reasonable portion. The black pepper sauce was too little. Chicken not very tender. Average food.

Food is not terrible (was better in the past) but the waiting time is crazy (>45 mins). Advise to the owner : Please stop accepting online order if your stall is understaffed.

TLDR: RUN NOW Ate this at 230am and decided to starve right after the first bite. Literally the worst western meal I’ve had in my life. Fries was rubbery and cold. Chicken barely has any meat (if any, it was dry and dark). The skin filled chicken was not even tasty, all I could taste was the oil that was reused over and over again. Onion rings was the best out of all but just look at it.

I’m ok if I order medium rare but it came as rare, but I’m not ok when I ordered ribeye and they served me striploin. It’s a $4 differences. I wonder if it’s instructed by the owner to do so.

The spring chicken is bad… this is a horrible stall. $11 for a bad fried chicken. Cannot eat. The meat has a bad taste and it is super super salty! The chicken bones are blackish. Yucks. I will never patronise them again. Not recommended to eat!
