Came across this stall that sell Thai fusion Nasi Lemak. Ordered set 2 which is the Nasi Lemak with fried chicken thigh and egg. I quite like the blue pea rice because there was a nice coconut aroma and the mango salad is something new on a Nasi Lemak to me. It’s sweet, refreshing, not overly sourish too, and it has a pleasant pairing with the sambal chilli and blue pea rice. The chicken thigh was freshly fried and it was very tender and delicious! Overall I’ve enjoyed this Nasi Lemak and definitely will be back to try their Thai Basil rice! ☺️ **And don’t forget your Kopitiam card to enjoy further 10% off. 😆

Writing this review for my own selfish reason - that I want this stall to stick around for a bit. At first look, the Kopitiam which houses this stall looks dark and dead, but don't be deterred. I ordered the Chicken Wing set and was rewarded with lush, coconutty butterfly blue pea scented rice, with a fried egg, a side of fresh mango salad which cuts the lemak coconut milk just right, well fried with no smelly or overnight oil smell medium sized ikan bilis with crunchy peanuts, a generous pot of spicy but sweet Thai style chili and some Thai keropok (I ate quite a bit before remembering to photograph it, sorry) with a well seasoned, juicy wing and drumstick. Though the meat isn't super huge, but I kinda prefer it this way as all the meat tasted marinated and seasoned well. Do give them a try. I really wish Kopitiam will do more during this mini CB to help the stalls along. #ahawkernearu

Tried out a few dishes from this place. The first thing that strikes you is the blue colour rice. The blue colour came from lavender. The lavender lend a interesting and unique flavour to the rice. Definitely an interesting take and we think it goes nicely with the rest of the ingredients. The chickens cutler is a whole chicken thigh. It is juicy and tasty. They fried until it is crispy on the outside. Good chilli. Came with prawn crackers too. Five stars for this dish. Also ordered the pineapple fried rice. Nice. Choked full of flavour. Another five stars. Also had the fried dory fish in sweet and sour sauce. Fresh fish. Nicely fried and then doused in generous amount of sauce. Tasty and well balanced flavour. Another five stars. Next we also ordered the grilled chicken thigh. For this we gave only four stars because the flavour is not that deep. Lack of flavour. Yeah, we ordered takeaway. They packed all the sets in nice brown paper box. No drop in flavour for takeaway. Useful during this pandemic/endemic period. Overall good experience. Can try.

Awesome Authentic Thai Cuisine tucked away in Yishun. What a rare find. The Basil Chicken, TomYum soup are such a rare find outside of the land of smiles. Now I know where to go to satisfy my craving for Thai food during this lockdown times. 👍 well done

Quite value for money for Father’s Day set (egg fried rice, Tom yum soup, mango salad, 3 chicken wing and 1 chicken thigh). Added on thai fish cake and 1 fried tofu and Thai basil chicken rice. The highlights are the Tom yum soup and mango salad, alongside with non-oily fried rice. Fried chicken was done quite well too, but fried tofu could be better. Would come back to try their Nasi Lemak blue rice series and Thai food.

Definitely a what you see, what u get. This was my 2nd time trying @lavendernasilemak I am glad that I am able to introduce it to more people. It is currently my favourite nasi lemak. Basically they are a Thai inspired local nasi lemak. Their color of the rice never fails to impress me, and what's shocking is that they don't use any artificial colouring. It was my family 1st time eating it, and they love it as well. They said it is very good, especially the rice. With just $5-$6, it is super worth it for the amount of food you are getting. And their service is excellent. Would definitely eat it again.🥰🥳

Not the normal type of Nasi Lemak. This thai inspired plate come with blue pea rice, dry anchovies and peanut, mango salad and fried chicken wing. The rice come with a light touch of coconut milk fragrance, the sambal chilli is the sweet and mild spicy type. The fried egg taste like left aside for sometime and the chicken wing meat is a bit hard. Have the option to top up a dollar for a small bowl of tom yum soup which is quite tasty.

Ordered via grab the Fried chicken thigh with fried rice. Trying it out for the first time and waa pleasantly surprised by the tasty fried rice! The fried chicken thigh was fried nicely, adequately seasoned and still cripsy after delivery! The Thai style chilli adds a nice touch of tartness to the overall dish! Will definitely try other items from the menu next time!
