Worth
another
visit.
We
went
here
for
my
wife's
birthday
dinner.
She
had
the
fried
olives
appetizer,
a
grouper
and
risotto
special,
and
the
creme
brule.
I
had
the
prime
rib
and
mushroom
soup,
an
8oz
filet,
sautéed
spinach,
and
Burgundy
mushrooms.
My
wife
enjoyed
everything
she
had,
but
cautioned
that
the
sausage
stuffing
in
the
mushrooms
was
spicy.
I
thought
my
soup
was
going
to
be
broth,
but
was
a
(sour)
cream
base.
While
the
prime
rib
and
mushrooms
in
the
soup
were
good,
the
cream
base
was
not
what
I
was
hoping
for
(I
originally
was
going
for
the
French
Onion
soup,
but
was
intrigued
when
the
waiter
offered).
The
filet
was
as
good
as
Shula's
nearby.
The
Burgundy
mushrooms
were
smothered
in
Burgundy
gravy
(see
photo
after
the
mushrooms
were
eaten).
Plenty
of
mushrooms
in
the
dish,
but
way
too
much
gravy.
I
thought
these
would
simply
be
mushrooms
sautéed
with
Burgundy
wine.
Still,
they
were
enjoyable.
The
spinach
was
also
not
quite
what
I
expected.
More
stems
than
leaves.
Next
time
I
will
go
with
the
green
beans.
The
atmosphere
was
good.
A
bit
relaxed
and
comfortable
inside.
The
few
tables
outside
were
baking
in
the
afternoon
sun.
The
only
true
annoyance
were
a
swarm
of
tiny
flying
insects.
The
waiter
played
it
off
well
by
saying
it
"is
Florida".
At
least
they
weren't
love
bugs.
