When you guys have a staff shortage you need to notify your patients. Some of us work 9-5s and have to request time off for these tests, sometimes we only have 2-3 hours to go and get this stuff done. What is the point of making an appointment if I don't get seen for 30-hour after arriving. Having to sit in a waiting room with a bunch of people and risking getting sick is NOT it. If you're going to have all of us waiting together you need to require masks in the waiting room. You guys do not care about your patients. It's impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone here for accommodations like calling when ready. Absolutely disrespectful to my time and my health.

Angeleta was less than warm and welcoming. I came in as a walk-in on 06/17 with a stat order. She proceeded to tell me that this location is appointment oriented and that I should’ve made an appointment immediately after my doctor gave it to me. Guess what my doctor gave it to me 30 minutes before I showed up. That was really uncalled for. Less than ideal experience. Quest do better.

Nearly impossible to book appointments. No window or human to check in with. Kiosks increasingly hard to use. 90 year old couple just stood in front of it and talked to wall hoping it would answer. Walk-ins used to be fitted in, now you just sit for hours and never get. Looking for new lab at this point. Less than zero customer service.

Supposly, they have upgraded their system to automatic. I signed up and I received a text that my waiting time will be 22 minutes. I have been here for over 100 minutes and I have to wait still. They should respect my and other people's time and give a correct estimate. The door is locked and nobody is responsive.

I am a type 1 diabetic that needs to get blood work done for my AC1 specifically. Amongst other panels this is the most important one. This is vital for for my well being. Vicky who did my blood work did not submit this and my doctor did not receive my results for my appointment. I have to now go back and do my blood work a second time cause she’s so incompetent. This is peoples lives she’s messing with. She should be fired. I will not be going to this location where she works.

I have to get my blood draw exactly on today because my oB doctor need to see if my hcg drop significantly to decide if I need the abortion procedure....And I couldn't find any available spot at any location. But the quest said they take walk-in on the phone and I came to this location before they opened in the morning. When I was waiting fmto check in,someone came out to tell us only appointment NO walk-in! 90%of the people in the room have to leave! Of course they started to complained they couldn't find appointment until next week and that's why they have to do walk-in and they also have asked Quest that if they take walk-in And answer is YES. So, Only one or two people stayed in the room I guess because they are so lucky to have appointment.... Do the staff really want to work here? I am not sure how many people have to have their tests done before they can find any appointment...But Please if you don't take walk-in, give more appointment slots! If you don't take walk-in, states that on your website or on the phone.

I had appointment at 12:45, I arrived at 12:15. At 1:00 already 5 walk in people were called after my appointment time. I asked one of the nurses why I had to wait that long, her reply was I don’t know, I just came back from lunch. At 1:15 they finally called me and when I referred what happened to the person in the room, she was very unapologetic and asked me what I wanted her to do. My reply was nothing at this point.

Received Quest text message yesterday about my appointment this morning. "When you arrive, please click this link to check in." Which I did. The place is packed, standing room only and from where I'm sitting I can't see the screen. After 35 minutes, a tech came out and I asked her about the check-in text message working. She says "I'm not an IT person" and goes in the back. Walked out. Oviedo Quest is terrible. Go somewhere else!

I am unable to call the office to tell them that I am running late. The listed number is fully automated and has no options to speak with staff. I understand that automation is the future, but removing the human element altogether is ridiculous. Especially with a system that doesn’t cover all callers’ needs. I just want to be courteous. I will be happy to change this review whenever I am able to get my car started and visit, but the inability to call will certainly still affect that review. Not like it matters to Quest. They know they have guaranteed customers due to insurance restrictions, so customer satisfaction is not a business necessity. Edit: The woman who helped me was nice, and she did her best with my dehydrated, uncooperative veins. Luckily, while I was there, the waiting room had one other person in it, so I was able to have a walk-in. I still really dislike the impersonal feeling of the waiting area. It’s like a DMV, but with no staff. It’s just a room with chairs, a couple check-in kiosks, and a large TV telling you about the potential wait and where you are in line.

The worst customer service ever! I got here before 11:10am and I had to wait 2 hours! They saw patients that arrived before me! Then you give them the work order where everything is self explanatory and the person still didn’t know what they were doing or what had to be done! I the patient had to explain it to her! Thee most incompetent and inconsiderate people I have ever met! And then you ask them a question and they send someone else to answer instead of coming back answering everyone that is asking them questions!

How many times do you come out of a place smiling where they stick a needle in your arm and take your blood? Well today I did because I met a wonderful lady name Angelica. Quest had a great day the day they hired her to represent their company. Please let her know Mr. Rrrrr (our inside joke) is grateful for her kind and cheerful service. Walked into a boring lobby with no one to greet you and everyone looking at their cell phones and walked out leaving behind a joyous and spirited person. Thank you for starting my Friday off right. I needed that!

I was scared coming here after reading all the bad reviews, but I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I wasn't waiting any longer than about 5 minutes. I had the best needle giver (Cheryl in room 5). I have horrible needle anxiety that I can't seem to get over. Cheryl was so kind and patient, I wish she could be my needle giver every time I needed blood work. Full 5 stars for her, she was excellent.

This is the worst Quest location I’ve ever been to. I came in today as a walk in. Of course I expected to wait for a while but from 10am to not even be seen by 2:50pm is ridiculous .. Then when they were calling the walk ins they skip my number and say idk what to tell you. Keep in mind I was the only walk in. The lady in the first office to right proceeds to close the door decides to slam the door in my face and then says I’m not arguing with you. I didn’t want to argue I just wanted to know how I can be seen. I will never go back there. Thanks for nothing. Customer service is not a priority here.

Made an appointment online, and had a very short wait. All of the employees/technicians there were so kind as they interacted with patients in the waiting area, and even had some folks laughing. The person who helped me was named Nosah (not sure of spelling), but she was AMAZING; so fast and efficient, positive, and joy-filled. The waiting area was also clean and had the seats socially distanced. The next time I need blood work, I will definitely be making another appointment at Quest in Oviedo. Update; just had another appointment, this time with Jamie, and she was awesome as well. I felt like I went and met with a friend, instead of meeting a stranger to get blood work done. I know the people working at Quest have long hours and deal with stress, yet they are so pleasant, friendly, good at what they do, and kind.

They Did a specific blood test incorrectly on my daughter 2 times. So she was poked 4 times and had 12 viles of blood drawn and it was all done incorrectly. I took her to a different lab and they got it right the first time. Not to mention, they had written instructions on exactly how to do the test.

I carelessly made my appointment at the office in Winter Springs and showed up at the Oviedo office. I was sitting in the waiting area and Noa came out to see if she could help. She checked me in and took care of the blood draw. I have a major fear of needles and she distracted me by asking about my dogs because there was some hair on my shirt. 🤣 She got the vein on the first try and I didn’t feel a thing. I have had some health issues and been stuck too many times recently and she was the best. Thank you.

Absolute worst service, would never allow any friend or family member to go here. When you walk in there is no one to talk to. So my wife checks in by phone. No one shows up, it goes past her appointment time and she sees someone in back hall. They walk out, are very rude, and say she missed her appointment time. Keep in mind she was early to this appointment, checked in and sitting in waiting area. They tell her sorry, must have been a computer glitch. We can't take your blood today. Needless to say we will never go back here again nor should anyone else. I hope management reads this review and takes action as they are paying employees to do nothing.

There is no customer service agent in the front. People have questions and when someone asks one of the techs once they come out to call a patient, they are very rude half of the time. You come with a drop off, and they make you wait forever. I asked multiple times about my drop off as I have a frozen specimen and have been waiting here for an hour. They state they’ll check on my number and then never come back. Absolutely ridiculous. Only getting two stars because once you’re back, there’s good phlebotomy

My 5 year old and I had to have blood drawn, understandably my son was extremely nervous and Katie was amazing! She was patient, kind, and remained calm even though my son was screaming. A few hours later and you can barely see where we had blood drawn and there is zero pain. I’m so grateful to Katie for making this unpleasant experience as pleasant and quick as possible!

Staff is terrible at giving walk-ins - first come, first serve walk-in order. I was the first walk-in as patient 101 and they served walk-in patients 102 and 103 before I gave up and left after waiting from 6:30am to 10am. Appointments are at least 3 days out.

When you make an appointment online, it states that if you "enter your insurance now", you can save time when you show up, so I decided to do that. Once I arrived at my appointment, the screen where you check-in asks again for your insurance card....oook. Then the attendant calls you in and as part of the check in process she asks again for your insurance card. How am I saving time by providing all my insurance upfront??

Looks nice but without a doubt the most inefficient walk in system only which sometimes there are no options if you are told by a dr to have lab work done and if you are diabetic on fasting walking to this site is not good for your health. So many reviews with same complaint 😞

This one technician was extremely rude. We were simply asking about having an appointment at 11 am and still not seen at 12 pm. It makes no sense. Totally unorganized office and sysyem

All I can say is that I came in with a bunch of paperwork and questions over the frustrating fact that Quest at another location kept telling me that I could not get the labs done because of a bill, which led to me finding out that I was sent to a creditor erroneously for $2.50, and I needed to get to the bottom of this and get the labs done. I didn't know what to put in the kiosk check-in and I had to choose the help button. There's no front desk, so no one to ask, so I was very anxious. However, when I was called back, no one yelled at me that they don't do billing there (which I knew), and LISTENED to me when I explained the problem. KATIE went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me, finding out that there was no balance, and proceeded to do the lab work. Through no fault of Quest, the code for the lab was unusable, and Katie even called the doctor who gave me the order, staying on hold with the doctor's office. Even though it turned out I have to get the matter straightened out with my doctor before the orders can be fulfilled, not once was I spoken to rudely or dismissed. Katie put me at ease, as I was very anxious by the time I was called back. This experience was different from other places who would have not let me finish explaining and had an attitude that that "wasn't (their) job." Instead, I left Quest knowing exactly what to do next. 5 stars for professionalism and basic human decency and manners!

It seems they were short staffed today, but the staff was pleasant despite it being busy and some people being rude about waiting since they didn't have appointments and appointments get priority. The person that drew my blood, Jenifer, was so nice and did it so quick and painless once I was in. Thank you so much! :)

This location accepts walkins and appointments however walkins should include an asterisk because they will make you setup an appt. I arrived at 630a after fasting but my appt was for 1150a after i was forced to make an appt. I received a text reminder about 1150 appt and it had a link i needed to click before walking in so i did. I received an error stating that no appointment existed. I walked in and checked in on the kiosk - that worked at least. I finally was seen around 1240p in the afternoon. I was starving and upset. I guess this why its named Quest because it was one heck of a journey. Good luck!!

I had a good experience. Got called in right at my appointment time and my phlebotomist was extremely kind, efficient, and conscientious. The whole process was seamless. Will definitely schedule there again.

If I could give zero Stars I would. First time I went there the guy jabbed me in the arm without ever sanitizeing my skin and he didn't wear gloves. I've tried to go in there two times since then and they do not accept walk-ins. You wake up early to get a walk in and you click on the I'm a walk-in on their stupid tablet (because they don't have any secretary) and when you click on I'm a walk-in it takes you to the appointment scheduling. What a waste of time. What terrible service.

  • 1/5 Andri E. 1 year ago on Google
You cannot find appointments for at least 2 weeks and you go there with an influx of walk ins and you wait, with an appointment for at least 30min. In addition the wait roon screen it shows you next in line. 1 min approx wait for at least 15 min. Just find a different location if you cannot avoid quest labs completely.

Made an appt online and was seen almost immediately after checking in. Jamie helped us and was so incredibly kind and patient with my little one. Truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

Both of us have been coming to this Quest Center for many years. Always, it's well run and always the staff are friendly and efficient. Because everything is so smooth, it makes for a relaxing as possible environment for our blood tests. This is a great Quest facility and we will continue coming here.
