Golden Indian Restaurant in Sursee is right outside Lucerne and is as authentic as they come I must say, the flavors of the food are better than almost any other Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at! The chefs at Golden Indian Restaurant are truly talented and their dishes are full of flavors. The Dal Makhani is simply the best I have ever tasted! The creamy and flavorful lentil curry was cooked to perfection, and the addition of aromatic spices made it a truly memorable dish. The butter chicken was equally amazing, with the perfect balance of spices and creaminess. The service at Golden Indian Restaurant is truly mind-blowing. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to your needs. They are always ready to help you with your choices and recommendations. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in their service, which made my dining experience truly memorable. The concept of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. Das Restaurant GoldenIndia in Sursee ist ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, da es in einem Zug untergebracht ist. Die warme und einladende Atmosphäre sowie das freundliche Personal tragen zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt bei. Das Chicken Tikka, das ich bestellt habe, war perfekt gewürzt, zart und saftig. Das Garlic Naan, mit seiner lockeren und luftigen Textur, war eine köstliche Ergänzung. Der Service war effizient und aufmerksam. Insgesamt ist das GoldenIndia eine absolute Empfehlung für Liebhaber indischer Küche, die eine besondere Erfahrung suchen.

Super leckeres und authentisch indisches Essen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne, tolles Mittags-Menu mit vielen verschiedenen Schälchen. Freundliches Personal und das unkonventionelle Restaurant im Zug ist toll gemacht.

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht von dem Restaurant!! Es ist ein sehr schön dekorierter Eisenbahnwagen mit liebevollen Details wie z.B. kleine Bilder an den Wänden oder die indische Musik im Hintergrund. Auch kann man die Küchenmannschaft ganz vorne beim Arbeiten sehen, was sehr interessant war. Das Garlic Naan (Brot) war sehr knusprig und lecker, ebenso wie die Vorspeise Veg Samosa. Das Highlight war das Lamb Bhuna. Die Soße war eine Geschmacksexplosion mit vielen Gewürzen und das Lammfleisch war sehr fein und die Portion war sogar für 2 Personen perfekt. Das personal war sehr sehr freundlich und gab einem ein sehr wohles Gefühl beim Essen.

Wahrlich eine Offenbarung... 🤩 Es stimmt einfach alles, das Essen ist top und der Service speditiv und mit ganz viel italienisch-indischem Charme... 😉 Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Bestes indisches Essen, dass ich je kosten durfte! Wir waren über Mittag da und ich habe das Vegi-Menu gewählt. Absolut unglaubliches Butter Paneer war dabei, zart und die frische der Zutaten unfehlbar. Auch der Rest eine Geschmacksexplosion! Reis kann gratis nachbestellt werden, bis man platzt. Tipp: zum Abschluss das Mango-Lassi nehmen, super lecker! Wir wurden von Dinesh bedient, welche seine Arbeit hervorragend macht. Wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende sehr herzlich aufgenommen und wohlgefühlt. Kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder!

We were pleasantly surprised by the railway carriage restaurant. The food was really tasty, the service friendly and attentive. All round lovely meal.

Amazing indian food. Not too spicy but can be increase with their delicious spicy oil. The service was perfect. Portion are huge. And the restaurant is in train ! Such a nice set up.

An unplanned visit to this little gem of a restaurant was the perfect climax to our swiss trip. One of the best Indian restaurants we have visited in Europe. The price might be slightly on the higher side but the quality of the food and the service justifies it. The food was sumptuous and the service was impeccable. Special mention to Mr.Dinesh for his wonderful hospitality. A definite must visit if you are in the locality.

We've ordered delivery the second time already. The food is fantastic and the people are so kind! Yes it's pricy but it's a small restaurant and the portions are large. We'll definetly order again!

The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. It's an old train wagon. The furniture has been selected in a matching retro style. However, the seats are rather close together. I felt like I could use some more space. The food was good. We shared a mixed starter plate intended for two as a group of four. The appetisers were presented on a basic salad. I liked the taste, but wasn't wowed. The main course came nicely presented in an pot. The food tasted fresh and with a lot of spices. It wasn't spicy, though. I remember that chicken was exceptionally tender. We did not order dessert. My stand out for the evening was the mango lassi.

Tasty, delicious, perfect place. The curry tastes really better and different from other Indian restaurants. Kid friendly menu. Suggestion for more spicy is optional. Naan is absolutely cooked at good state. Chicken curry is absolutely must tried one. Wish to come back.

Golden India is our favorite go-to Indian food place at Sursee. It has become like a home for us due to its delicious food, warm hospitality and beautiful decor ! All the dishes are amazing but my favorite is garlic butter Naan with palak paneer :)

Ein absolutes optisches und kulinarisches Highlight!!!! Bestes indisches Essen mit einem freundlichen Empfang, speditiver Bedienung und ganz viel Charme und Ambiente. Das Essen war einfach unglaublich lecker und die Portionen grosszügig. Die verwendeten Gewürze verführen die Geschmacksknopsenöl unglaublich, die Schärfe des Gerichtes kann individuell gewählt werden. Uns wird sogar erklärt, woraus sich die Gerichte zusammensetzen und das alles in einem sehr charmanten Gemisch aus Deutsch, Englisch und Italienisch!!! Hier werden definitive alle Sinne angesprochen und ich kann dieses Lokal wirklich wärmstens empfehlen!!!! Was für mich ein zusätzliches Plus ist, dass durch den angebauten Rollstuhllift auch gehbehinderte Gäste im Bahnwaggon essen können und nicht nur, auf der zugegebenen sehr schönen angebauten Terrasse dinieren können.

I've been there once for dinner and once for the lunch menu, both times a top experience. The servers are very kind, the ambient is great, food is yummy and the prices are fair. Nothing else to add.
