Our experience with Rudy was a 10/10. Rudy gave us all the complementary equipments we did not have and clearly explained us the trek. We did the 3D2N trek which enabled us to see incredible views (best sunsets and sunrises) as well as eating very good meals. Special thanks to our guide Hary as well as our porters Lee and Gojeng. They did an amazing job at helping us and were always very kind.

We had a really good experience with Rudy Trekker's. The equipment was great and they supplied everything we needed before the hike. The food was amazing up on the mountain and our tents were already setup for us when we reached the camp which was amazing. My only slight criticism is that we didn't really get much information about the mountain itself from our guide (when it last erupted, interesting facts, etc.) Our guide did tend to walk ahead of us quite a bit so we were walking alone for most of it. It seemed a bit rushed on the way down because he was always ahead of us. But all in all we had a fantastic experience and would recommend using this company if you want to hike mount Rinjani 😊

What a monumental experience. Only made possible by this great team at Rudy trekker. They were extremely helpful and professional but above that, such incredible people to help guide us and spend 3 days with. Could not recommend them more. Special mention to Dan, Harry and all the inspirational porters. Don’t bother looking elsewhere. Rudy is your guy.

It’s impossible to put into words what a great experience we had with Rudy Trekker from start to finish. From the guides, special mention to Dan and Harry, all the incredible porters and staff and Rudy. The guides helped us with everything up there. It’s not an easy trek and they made us feel so safe and in good hands. Although many made it to the summit the day we trekked up there, the guides, putting our safety first, advised against it due to high winds being that it was dangerous for us to attempt the summit. They were true professionals that knew the mountain inside out and made our experience one we will never forget. Highly recommend.

Really recommend the 3 days 2 night see it all tour. Very good experience Rudy provides a pickup service at arrival, a night at the guest house before the trek and a drop-off at your next location on Lombok. From the guest house two of the best waterfalls in Lombok are situated at only a short walk of the guest house (a guide is not really needed there just follow the path and signs). During the trek the guide (Harry) and porters (Andy & co) went above and beyond to provide us with the best experience on every possible level. Only sad note is the amount of trash on the mountain as not every organization brings back their trash with them but our porters carried it back down the mountain (one more reason to choose for Rudy Trekker). Going with Rudy might be a bit more expensive than the other options at first glance but it also comes with extra amenities other tours don't have so definitely worth it in the end. Also don't wear a white swimming suit to the hot springs if you want it to stay white.

We wanted to do a 3 day 2 night tour to summit Rinjani and visit the hot springs and do some trekking. We contacted the trekking agencies with the best reviews. The prices for the places with the best reviews were in the range of 250-300. We ended up booking with Rudy Trekker because they made the booking so easy. They pick you up from anywhere on Lombock for no extra charge and take you anywhere on the island after your trek. The whole trek can be paid via credit card when you arrive. The experience: We had done previous treks in Indonesia and other countries but this was by far the best guide we had on any of our treks. Harry stayed with us the whole time pointing out hazards on the trail, poisonous/itchy plants. And recommending different routes we could take with the pros and cons of the options. We had two porters with us who made amazing hot food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Snacks, cookies, Coca-Cola, coffee, and tea were also provided. Camps and beds were completely set up when we arrived at camp. We even had a table and chairs. There were many trekking companies climbing and it was quite busy. We talked to a few of the groups and they mentioned they paid a little bit less but they didn’t have some of the amenities we did, no table to eat from, no chairs, different food. This made us thankful we booked with a company that included everything for no extra charge. 5 star experience all round.

We can't say enough good things about Rudy Trekkers. We did not get to experience the villa, or do a multi day trip unfortunately. We had very limited time and wanted to summit Rinjani in a day, Rudy Trekkers made that happen for us and we are very grateful. Our guide, Hery, was the best company we could have asked for, we highly HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to hike Rinjani! Thank you again so much, fantastic day!

We strolled into Rudi trekker without looking at reviews or booking, what a wonderful experience we had. My husband had a sore back, so in the restful in the oasis of Rudy’s hotel. He recovered and was able to do the 4 day / 3 night trek. I am 61 years and husband 64 years, with the help of a truly amazing guide and 3 porters we completed the trek. The food was delicious. All staff at the hotel are friendly, kind and caring. After the trek we stay another 2 nights next a beautiful garden and pool. The rooms are so quiet and peaceful. Home away from home. The hotel is owned by an Indonesian who supports his local community, all staff are locals. It is also eco friendly.

Very clean and nice homestay! There is a pool and restaurant on site with great food. The location is near the waterfalls which you will also want to check out. Rudy and his team were fantastic, I checked in with a pretty bad ankle injury and they found me some crutches and helped me with my bags/to my room. Every time the staff saw me outside of my room, they stopped to make sure I was okay and ask if I needed any help. Would definitely recommend!
