Really nice find in the village of Senaru. They were so nice, friendly and welcoming. We were there during off-season so we were pretty much the only customers for lunch and dinner, yet I was impressed that they could still maintain the full menu with everything cooked fresh upon order. The items we ordered all tasted really good. Go for the gado gado, serbuk, sate and ote ote (bakwan). The food tasted really fresh and cooked with a lot of care and love. The place was bright and clean with lovely bamboo furniture. Do check it out if you're in the area and they provide lots of vegetarian friendly options too.

Very simple warung, where everything is in the smile of the owners and tastiness of the food. Lot of choice in the menu. We had dinner 2 times here, before and after the trek. Family with kids, the food is good for them also.

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Indonesia! The local dishes are so tasty, particularly the serbuk, and the mango juice is amazing. It’s great value for money and the the owner is delightful - would highly recommend!

What an amazing find! Divine local food, super cheap and the most joyous service. It’s right across the road from the touristy venues — don’t miss this place if you’re visiting the waterfalls. One of the best food experiences we’ve had in Indonesia.

Good food and we get a lot. We take the Serbuk, the Ote -ote, Gado-Gado, mango jus, banana jus and springrolls. All for a local and fair price. Even we get some spray to hide the mosquitoes. Very friendly owner. He makes everything fresh. Go for a little walk from Rinjani Lighthouse, 5-10 minutes.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this obviously-caters-to-tourists-but-who-cares-because-it's-delicious restaurant. You order by writing the menu number of the items you want on an order slip then the food comes slowly but surely. Do not arrive starving lest you become hangry but the food is worth the wait. One friend enjoyed his complete burger (beef AND chicken - so extra), we finished every last morsel the bebalung (beef bone soup with veggies) and bakso something-something (meatball soup with noodles with a bit of a kick for sass). You can walk across the street to a shop to buy a large bintang for 35k if that's your thing. Enjoy and good luck on your trek to the summit!

Food was delicious. Ordered the bakso chicken. They provided freshly made chilli on the side that was amazing. Only downside is that there are a ton of lizards crowding around the lights in the ceiling. If you can find a seat without lights on top of you, it’s okay

The delicious food and warm hospitality here will be among our fondest memories of Senaru! We ate here multiple times, and were always treated to wonderfully flavourful and fresh dishes made with obvious pride. The pelecing, served with a freshly made and wonderfully aromatic tomato based sambal and a side of grated coconut (a new preparation for us) and the coconut infused Serbuk were our highlights. The tempeh curry is also very satisfying, full of spice and herbs - a great option if you’re addicted to tempeh (we are) but want a break from its deep fried preparation. Thank you for hosting us with such warmth and for indulging us! And thanks for showing us how to prepare sambal, rifka style!

Really loved the foods here, even the owner was very friendly and funny! He told me to leave a review in Tagalog so super sarap! Di kayo magsisi. Very affordable also! Try their fresh juices, one of the best! And their spring rolls or lumpia in the Philippines!😋

Very nice place to eat. You MUST TRY their juices - we had mango and strawberry juice and both were awesome. Also french crepes really surprised me, real delicious and a bit crispy pancakes.

Excellent traditional food. I would’ve recommended this place after just trying the juice (really a smoothie). We tried many different plates and couldn’t find anything that was not 10/10. The staff is also so friendly, this is the place to go before and after the Rinjani trek.

Great place to eat after coming back from a Rinjari trek. Owner was incredibly friendly and hospitable and the food was fantastic. You can order burgers and the like but clearly they excel in local stuff.

Friendly owners. A lot of choices on the menu. We ordered Mie goreng and nasi campur with chicken, egg, tofu and tempé. Both were big portions. The tempé had more batter then tempé. The dishes were made with a lot of oil.

We ate here twice, because the food was so good and the people are really nice! Very delicious. 😋 We had lombok soto (vegetarian option), spring rolls, gado gado, vegetable soup and another local food with chicken. No tummy problems 😉

Unfortunately quite bad… omelette goes with flour, “noodle” - that’s Mivina with flavour enhancer… we took also some other dishes, but they also weren’t great. Tho maybe it’s good place compared to others, but in fact - the same Indonesia cuisine as everywhere. Definitely score 4.8 is overrated.
