Good Hotel with big rooms hot showers and a swimming pool

Good rest stop... excellent lodgings

A slightly quaint offering considering the town of Kedougou. Little to compare with. The running water in the new building is mostly warm when you want it and the electricity is stable and reliable. The Wi-Fi is free but cannot deal with the bandwidth requirements if the hotel is busy. Becomes too slow and unstable for any practical use. The hotel admin is using the same SSID for two different access points / routers and WiFi control software is messed up by this choice. The swimming pool is clean and the personnel are all very polite and respectful. There's lack of some kind of skills and resources but we can guess that there's hardly anything that can be done about this half way to the end of the world. Small suggestion to reduce waste to install soap dispensers in the room and not provide new soaps everyday. The keys are left for long hours on the doors so be careful with expensive kit. And by all means pre-order the dinner when the hotel is full.
