Todo fue perfecto, limpieza habitaciones, comidas, cenas y desayunos. Todo cuidado al detalle, pero si hay que destacar algo es al maravilloso trato de propietarios y personal. Las habitaciones completas y limpias. Cuentan con mosquitera y ventilador. La paz que se respira en el campamento es increíble para desconectar de todo. La ubicacion está un poco lejos del pueblo, pero no es impedimento, ya que te acercan al cruce para que puedas ir a donde desees. Todo fue perfecto.

Amazing lodge, can't wait to go back

If you love peace, quietness and simplicity, this place is for you. To me, the staff felt so respectful and accommodating with the vibe I was looking for. If I wanted privacy and alone time, they gave me space, if I wanted company or to join activities such as fishing, they were happy when I joined. Contact with them was the absolute highlight of my stay. Rooms are simple and can be a bit warm, but all rooms have a fan. There's no specific menu, you tell them you either do or don't want lunch and/or dinner and they'll present to you the catch of the day. For years I had been a vegetarian, but there was something about the fish that they catch themselves and prepare. I didn't even know fish could taste like that, it was delicious. Diembering is about an hour walk to be reached via the beach and Cap is about 1,5 hours by foot in the other direction. The staff can tell you how to go about. But I honestly didn't feel the need to go out much and eventually ended up extending my stay. It's a safe place for families, a romantic place for lovers and it's also perfect for solo travelers like me. Often I was just chilling in a hammock, reading my book. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed here on my own for three nights. The family is really kind, this is the kind of down to earth place that gives you goosebumps. It’s raw and simple, and that’s what makes it so special. You feel disconnected from the world and that’s because you are, and you can relax knowing that breakfast, lunch, and dinner are taken care of. Please know that there aren’t any ATMs in the area so bring enough cash or be prepared to arrange payment via western union or orange money.

Merci à la dream team du KIBALAOU pour tous ces moments de partage que vous avez pu m'offrir. Il y a bien sûr la cuisine de Seynabou qui est à l'image du KIBALAOU simple , goûteuse et généreuse. Le vrai Kiffe de trouver au dîner le poisson que l'on a péché au filet une heure auparavant sur la plage . Je donnerai une mention spéciale pour les filets de lotte !! Un grand merci à Alioune pour tous ses conseils de balade , sa disponibilité et son expertise de pêcheur. KIBALAOU est un havre de paix. Super les marches sur les plages désertes ( enfin pas vraiment car il faut cohabiter avec les vaches) pour se rendre à l'authentique village de diémbéring et au village de pêcheurs du cap ( une explosion de couleurs et de vie) . Merci aussi à Cheikh et Ali. Ma prochaine imerssion en Casamance me conduira inévitablement au KIBALAOU. Aloha !

Séjour idyllique à l'auberge Kibalaou pour 2 nuits. Situation magique, sur une plage sauvage à perte de vue. À 1h à pied du village de Diémbéring, par la plage. Chambre magnifique et grand lit hyper confortable. Électricité à énergie solaire. Pas d'eau chaude mais absolument pas gênant vue la température de l'air. Personnel adorable et serviable. Repas délicieux avec la pêche du jour. Transfert possible en 4x4 avec Elioun. Séjour parfait, on y reviendra !

Wir (Pärchen, 35+) haben hier 5 Nächte im November 2023 verbracht und Le Kibalaou als beste Unterkunft unserer Reise durch Senegal und Gambia gewertet! Man kann hier wunderbar entspannen, zur Ruhe kommen und die Natur und das Baden im Atlantik genießen. Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen können auf Wunsch hier eingenommen werden. Ich habe sogar stets eine vegetarische Mahlzeit bekommen! Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht, freundlich und hilfsbereit, das war ein großer Pluspunkt für den wir sehr dankbar sind. Fernseher, Klimaanlage oder ein großes Buffet sucht man hier vergebens - dafür findet man eine gepflegte wunderschöne in die Natur eingebettete Anlage vor. Für uns genau richtig so :)
