Stayed at a single room for 4 nights. Location is great because it's located few minutes walk from subway station (Jongno-3ga, line 1,3 & 5). Pretty easy to get to from airport. Owner, David is friendly. There's water dispenser and pantry area on 3rd floor and laundry (paid) at the attic. Wifi was good too. Towels provided was kind of small but I noticed this is similar to all the guesthouses I've stayed at in Korea. Stairs could be a little steep. Overall, had a good stay here and it was a good base to get around Seoul, not too far from most tourist attractions. Would choose to stay here again if I'm back in Seoul.

Booked on Airbnb. Had to come earlier by a day and the owner was kind enough to accommodate, with payment of course. Checking in at 1am, but it was a fairly painless process. Stairs to the room was pretty steep. I ended up going up 2 flights of stairs with heavy bags and that was a little challenging. Owner is a husband and wife duo. Very helpful. Got our bags up the stairs! +1! It's a pretty modest room in an old building. Everything is clean, but with minor water marks on the ceiling. Toilet was clean but had a foul smell coming up from the drainage, and there seems to be no way for us to turn off the exhaust fan to stop more smell from being sucked up. Beds are fine. Only issue is that only a mattress protector was used. No bedsheet, which actually is a necessity. Towels were a little small, though they give 4. Our safe was locked tight, presumably by the previous guest. Room 305 has water dispenser right outside our door. A plus! Overall a small room, with very little space for bags, esp if you're maxing out the 3 person capacity. Location is amazing, it's very central, with a train station nearby. Overall a solid 3/5. Comfortable enough, not if you're looking for luxury.

Decent accommodation though there must have been some sort of a leak on the ceiling as water seemed to be seeping through the room upstairs. Tiny window but better than none. Shower separated by a small wall from the rest of the bathroom. Excellent location.

I liked my 2 nights stay . I am alone so ok with the room size for my luggage . The bed is comfortable. The room is warm with floor heating. The bathroom is spacious. The location is so closed to subway , local eatery shops, night bbq shops and many happening . You don’t feel restless here . I slept very well for 2 nights . Super friendly, helpful staff here . They helped to bring up and down my luggages with no lift in this accommodation. I will definitely be back again. Wish you and family doing well , David !

A bit pricey than other guesthouses but you get a clean room and great service from the host. What I love about it is the bathroom, it was clean, no funky smell (unlike other guesthouses) and has hot water. The rooms also have a floor warmer which is highly appreciated during winter. The place is easily accessible via bus, train, and a walking distance to Insadong and Gwanghwamun Square. Just outside is the Wongaksa Pagoda. There are also nice local restaurants nearby that don't turn away foreigners. There's a CBTL just 2 minutes away to get your coffee fix. Overall, it was well worth the money and would stay here again when I'm back in Seoul. The host, David, was super helpful. Airport bus stop is 5-10minutes away, took 6002 to/from the guesthouse.

David was a great host! Always very welcoming and helpful! Ask him any questions and he will do his best to answer! He is very accommodating, would recommend! The location was also amazing, close to the subway, tourist spots and food and drink options.

10 stars out of 5! This was such a great stay. First, the owner.. what can I say? David is AMAZING!!! He speaks english perfectly (it isn’t so common in south korea), he’s always so kind, friendly and helpful, he really is a fantastic host. The building is nothing to write home about but it’s located in a great location, away from the chaos of the city but near a sweet little park and a walking distance from insadong and myeondong, it’s also so well connected, there are a lot of subway lines and buses that can take you anywhere in the city! The room is bigger than it looks in the pictures, it’s clean, functional, you have everything you need and MORE (plus: you can take all the toilet paper you need from the hall whenever you want), and in the hall there’s a cold and hot water dispenser that you can always use! Really, when I’ll come back to Seoul, I won’t even look for other places to stay!!!!
