Kids are not allowed in the swimming pool!!! Beware! Made a reservation looking at the pics thinking kids can at least use the pool since it’s really hot outside during summer in Korea. It turns out you have to walk 10 plus mins to the other hotel to use the pool. I complained about it at the front desk that I didn’t see anything like adults only when I made a reservation online. They told me it’s in fine prints if you go to their website so there’s nothing they can do about it. The room was nice and the location is excellent but their transparency and customer service is not 5star hotel. I would not recommend!!

After a much needed renovation, intercontinental finally renovated the hotel to give off luxurious yet more modern vibes with white and marble interior. Right after the grand opening, the club intercontinental used to be more worth it with a better cocktail hour beverages selection…. But now it’s a bit more restricted without free flowing drinks. The rooms seem cleaner and I love the Jo Malone amenities. Additionally, you can’t beat the location, so I’ll definitely be back.

Best hotel in seoul, always stay here. Always get lounge access suite. Even the concierge was so helpful to call taxi for me to go to my airport and they helped carry 3 luggages. And they did it so gently and refused to let me help them. 10 star service. Love it. stay here!!

Very good hotel, perfect location and atmosphere. Bit pricy and more a business hotel. Not really a vacation vibe hotel. Definitly don't go there for the swimming pool.... pictures look way better, it is actually very disappointing with a lot of elderly people who swim with mouth masks on. Besides that great design and easy to get to the Coex mall.

Beautiful hotel in a great location to explore. Always spotless, and friendly to arrive to. Staff is always eager to help. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Area is very safe. Mall and Department store is accessible from inside.

first of all great location at the coex and next to Hyundai department store so plenty of options to eat and see. however I was surprised to find out no kids are allowed at the pool and if we needed pool access it would be available at the coex intercontinental that is a 15 min walk away down the block.. add to that only children age 6 and 110cm or above are permitted so my younger child wouldn't of been able to go even if we wanted to. room wise is clean and spacious but wouldn't recommend for families with kids or if you need pool access.

The best hotel in the world. This hotel is the best because the staff (from maids, cleaners to concierge, valet parking and front desk people) are caring their customers. I stayed this hotel for my business many times. Always Clean rooms. Very high end service. Very impressive. I really hope they keep it up. Thank you all!

One of my favorite hotel stays of all time. The staff is friendly and helpful in every way. The rooms and amenities are glorious. Breakfast (which is pricey if not reserved with the room) is top notch, with a wide variety of both Korean and non Korean options. The location is great to business travelers if you have meetings in the financial area but is a bit far (40-50 mins) from the “cool” parts of town. That said, the hotel is on top of a fantastic mall and transit stop and the hotel can easily help you boon taxis so it’s not hard to get around. I would love to come back here sometime

Always a good easy stay here. Convenient location to most attractions and shipping at COEX and Hyundai department stores. They upgraded the interior and now definitely on par with the PH across the street.

The room was well equipped and immaculate. Fairly upscale setting, equally soulless - felt quite depressing having to walk through the lobby to eat or enter/exit the building. It has a station very close, which was handy when being stuck in taxis, enduring the traffic, becomes unbearable.

I stayed here in 2019 and at the time the rooms were quite a outdated for what was supposed to be a 5* hotel. Service was great however and so was the breakfast buffet. But really expected at least a modern room for a 5* hotel. Although the room I got was spacious. I've heard since then it has gone through a revamp, so looking forward to staying here on my next visit

Clean and modern. Remodeled recently, The staff is what made this hotel great. It a big hotel with a lot of rooms and crowded which I do not prefer. Next to the hotel a department store and many cafe shops.

This is our last hotel on our 2 mth asia vacation. We had an overnight flight from Singapore and got into seoul at 7am. The ladies at the front desk were very kind to us and knowing how hard it would be to get an early check in that early we nearly gave up. But they worked hard and was able to at least give us one room by 10 am. We rested and freshened up. Love the attention to details here. The rooms are nicely decorated in soothing but aesthetic colors. There’s a nice fragrance around the property. Regular rooms are on the smaller side but the junior suite has quite decent space with double beds! Not that easy to find 2 double size beds in Seoul. Location is quite convenient next to the Coex mall and my husbands favorite Casino! However If you have a family with small children, I don’t recommend this hotel. The pool is for ages 12 and up. They explained that it’s a hotel geared towards a business crowd and pool is quite deep. Breakfast is nicely done with western and yummy Korean options. Coffee bar is amazing.

One of the better Intercon brands. Club lounge is spacious and dinner was great with lots of varieties.Only drawback was that there no teaspoons sweet n low and creamer for coffee near machines.Manager on duty was not paying attention to details

Very nice hotel located in the prime area of Samsung Station. Everything was great, including room condition, service, breakfast etc except for one thing. The hotel may not be a great staycation option for family with kids. Indoor swimming pool is inaccessible for kid less than 12 year old. Thus, there is literally no hotel facility to enjoy with young kids. Other than this, all were great.

Grand Intercontinental Seoul in Gangnam district is one of the best 5⭐️ hotels I had ever stayed. Service, personnel, room and facilities are on the top but prices are very high. $145 for dinner buffet is too much even if it is of highest quality The same for breakfast buffet at $65 This being said it was a very good experience.

Newly renovated, so it's new and clean. Super convenient with subway, lots of restaurants and Hyundai dept store located below it.

Perfect location for trip. So nice staffs. Rooms have great interiors and amenities. I think here is better than park hyatt seoul.

Fantastic location if you plan on doing things in Gangnam. Recently renovated so very modern. Very friendly staff. However, buffet breakfast leaves much to be desired, especially considering the price (65,000 KRW). Has both Parnas mall and Starfield COEX mall so there are a plenty things to do and places to eat. Will come back for sure, can’t beat the location and things to do around.

Excellent location, clean room and great water pressure. However, turndown service and its follow up have a room for improvement. My contact lens case was vanished during a turndown service. I figured it out at 1:30am. The front desk sent me a pair of water cups. But the cups were too big and long so it was not easy to use. At 7:30am, a staff came to my room with a new case and a small teddy bear. I appreciate their follow up but it would have been great if they didn’t vanish my contact lens case or sent me a new one at first place. But the hotel has a great location, clean room, friendly staffs and helpful concierge, hence I give 4 stars.
