Horrible-tasting overpriced food. Nasi lemak is still ok, but the Hainan mee is something you should avoid. I wouldn't mind paying RM5 for it - nothing more - but you'd be charged RM25 for that bland plate of noodles. Would recommend to go with "safer choices" like Nasi lemak if you ever decided to dine here.

Was at the Hometown Hainan located at the Departure level 3. Disappointed and got really annoyed with the service from this restaurant. Ordered the prawn mee written in the Remark saying Mee hoon + Mee for the noodle combination. They came back my order 2 times wrongly! Had to keep asking them to change since the price charged not that cheap too. Only good thing is at least they were willing to change the noodle to a new bowl for me. πŸ˜…

This 5 stars war given for its Hainanese chicken rice. The dish is handled with perfection. You may see how it looks from the photos. The blended garlic ginger sauce is prepared with the exact right taste for customers who love something smooth and mild. It is just wonderful to go with the chicken. Not forgetting too the soup accompanying the chicken rice is also surprisingly quite tasty. As for the coffee and tea, it is not bad considering the premise is in the airport, i.e. faraway from other rivals. Can’t ask for for more, right ?

Service isn't that great. Asked if the food can be grilled instead of fried. The waitress said yes before really confirming it. Already made payment for the food. Awhile after payment, waitress said apparently can't. Another also asked for my drink to be less sweet, but never registered the remark noted from the order slip, and provided the drink very sweet. Asked to change the drink, it tastes like they just added water only. Tasted the same level of sweetness. I just said thank you without bothering to argue over it. Bad service. Work on this, please. Food is expensive already, so it should be served according to the level of pricing. I don't mind paying RM50 at all for a meal, but it didn't look as appetizing. To be honest, and to compare, I like this restaurant but I prefer the one Times Square and Setia Alam better. Go to the other branches instead.

Horrible service! The waiter basically just threw the receipt on my table and asked me to pay first. Overpriced food and not delicious. One milk tea and kaya toast costed me RM21.35. Milk tea was very sweet and kaya toast was very dry. Better go to the restaurant beside this.

A 24 hour resting spot before an early flight with a well designed interior. Food is generally on the expensive side as expected from an airport restaurant. We ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice and it was pretty good. The Hainan toast with curry was a little on the sweet side. Probably as good as it can get in the airport.

One good thing about this place is that they open 24 hours, so is convenient for travellers who need to stay over the night at KLIA2. The place has nice and cozy ambience and clean environment. The staffs service are quite okay. The steamed bread was nice but the white coffee was too bitter. Price is also on the higher side. Price wise it is on the higher side.

Staff is friendly to serve.. Ordering and payment comes first after food is served. Food quality wise is below average... Came here because Oriental needs to queue. Price is abit on the higher side.

I would not recommend people buying their ipoh hor fun chicken sliced because it tasted like normal plain chicken soup with noodles. There is no "Ipoh" in that dish. They are selfish with the amount of sliced chicken given with the dish. I would also not recommend getting their toasted kaya butter bread either because the bread is flat and it doesn't give that satisfaction when eating it. I would rather go to old town white coffee which is walking distance from the place to get a proper toasted kaya butter bread. The white curry mee special (no santan) is decent. I still prefer it with santan to give the curry a kick. However, the amount of chicken sliced given is a bit selfish. Based on the price for each dishes I paid here is not worth the money because the main dishes cost around RM20-30 per dish which is insane based on the amount of chicken given. Also the bread costs RM10.90 which is overly priced. The ambience is nice and the service was decent as the tables were not ready properly not because there were people queueing outside. It was due to the understaff.

I came in cause the basic group psychology, It has many people inside, should be good. Well, the seats are comfort and clean, the menu is clear and easy to read, then it is just ok. The way to order is try to be self service (get your table, read the menu, order and pay at the counter, wait for alarm to ring and get your own food from the counter to your table...last is clear your own plate from the table to tray station) however, its become mixed with the wait staff service (alarm never ring, have the waiter to serve you a meal and didn't have to clear your own plate) May be thats why the food is too slow, its confusing both customers and staffs. I had curry mee, and then I think I had it better somewhere else, not here. May be they special in other menu that no one knows. The drinks are fast though, may be its a good idea to just get something to drink while waiting for your flight with their super comfort seats.

Food was average. However, there were not many options available at 9+ in the morning, so this was good enough. We ordered the Hainan Chicken Chop and the Ipoh Hor Fun with Sliced Chicken. Both were decent.

It gives you convenience, foods are average taste. Maybe a place to fill up your stomach if you're not asking for more.

Food look good. Taste a bit funny. Don’t know how to explain. I also order a Coffee with Ice cream. Hm, the coffee no good. Especially I paying premium, so it is a two stars. Really regret to eat there. Should check the Google review before try.

Hometown Hainan Coffee offer wide range of Malaysian cuisine. Their food overall is not bad, just that price is at high side. Good place to spot by at the airport for some comfort food and coffee.

Fried kueh teow wait for almost 20 mins & not worth the price cos of airport rental i guess, ask for "sambal" but did not deliver, disappointed !!

Hainan coffee tasted normal, and the peanut butter bread super oily. Very expensive for having light meal at here. Self ordering service, just walked in, find an empty table, read their menu and write down your food number code in a small paper, then proceed to counter for ordering. Comfortable and clean place, there is power socket under every table can be used. πŸ‘

Disappointed by the rudeness of a particular Oldtown staff, we decided to have breakfast at Hometown Hainan Coffee down the hall and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of customer service and food here! The staff who served us mentioned the names of all the dishes we ordered as he was placing them on the table, and didn’t even miss mentioning β€œstraws” when he placed them down πŸ€£πŸ‘πŸΌ Ordered Hainan Rendang Chicken Rice, Crispy kaya butter toast, soft boiled eggs & Hainan Kopi C. Soft Boiled Eggs are huge and perfectly boiled! Not too cooked or too raw. Crispy toasts extremelyyy crispy and delicious, they are very generous with the kaya. Hainan Rendang Chicken Rice is super fragrant, one of the best we’ve had! This is gonna be my new fav restaurant in klia2 for sure ☺️ highly recommended!!

Don’t really understand why this place has a 2.6 star. For us, its a 4 stars for the best crisp kaya toast in Kuala Lumpur, especially in KLIA2. We love how the crisp sound blends with the melty kaya and hot coffee o in our mouth. Our orders were served quick too. Definately gonna come here again when we arrived or departure in KL.

The food is so delicious. The service of staff is so good. The atmosphere is also very nice. The cheese baked rice was too cheesy. The portions are big. The prawn tomyam was filled with prawn.

Quick service. Operating hours "unofficially" extended to 9pm for customer's convenience. Nasi Lemak with the quarter fried chicken was delicious. Fried kueh teow was also good. Coffee and Tea was good. The only let back is the expected high airport prices. The waiters are courteous and deliver good service pushing the 4 stars review.
