We were served by a waiter/staff name Mahmood. He was excellent, friendly and professional. Really recommend him. Went beyond his job description/task in order to serve us. Show us how to cook the foods, provide us direction for surau, etc. Foods is good for a grill lover. Great place for a catch up session with friends while you cook your foods.

Tried the buffet for RM57.90 (2-hour time limit) + RM12.00 add-on for Haagen-Dazs ice cream (4 flavours were available). Access to the salad bar (assorted vegetables, mushroom, edamame, deep-fried gyoza, eggs, etc), soup, oden, and drinks. For the DIY teppanyaki, we got a mix of chicken, cuttlefish (weird texture), Dory, Australian cube steak, Australian Karubi slice (easiest to cook, but very fatty), and Australian lamb cube (gamey). Butter, cooking oil, salt, pepper, and MSG is provided. Indoor ventilation is decent, but could be better. Paid parking in the plaza, or park at the opposite shop lots for free.

A place that allows u to cook your own teppayaki. A great experience for you and your friends. The portion was great. How tasty is the food ia depending on how u cook it. Will i be back? Only when my friends want to try. My minor nitpicking is i have been charged with service tax over the food i cook my ownself... lol

Enjoy their chicken and beef selection! Chicken is tender, beef is juicy, with bacon and cube 2 different textures. The tepanyaki cooking style is challenging at first, when you get use to it is all fun. Only add RM12 for unlimited H brand ice cream! Friendly service, explain everything patiently.

What's up, Sue! Ok, the "all you can eat" concept with food like Wagyu, scallops, and other good stuff attracted us to be there. Well, the thing is, you got to cook yourself and therefore, kinda put me off a little. Other than that, all is good.

Food was great, quality of the meat is awesome and the fish and cuttlefish is fresh. One of the best place for all you can eat buffet for grill food. They also offered bottomless Häagen-Dazs ice cream but you have to top up for it.

The place is clean & nice. But you have to pay for the parking with TNG bcause the ticket is having a problem. The food was amazing. Definitely will go here again.

Beef and lamb selection are the best selection to get. First time being here, staff is very attentive and helpful demonstration how to grill and season the foods👍. Seasonings provided are sufficient for grilling and to make egg fried rice. Many sauce options. If you want to grill something that acn be grilled quick and tasty you might want to order the beef slice instead of the beef cubes but both are great. Grill area is large and have overhead exhaust fans installed to suck all the smoke from the grill. Designated parking area in front of the shop need to be paid using TnG. Overall great experience and kudos for the male staff that taught us how to grill here😁

Went with 5 of my friends for buka puasa last night. Excellent service by the curly-haired dude (I assume he’s the supervisor/manager of the Sunway outlet). He even gave us free Haagen-Dazs ice cream! My friend and I got extra scoops 🍨 and I think it’s because we offered to clean the griddle 🤣 Overall a good dining experience

Beef cube was too tough and certainly is not of A grade/quality. May not be "wahyu" experience that customers may expect. Beef was served from kitchen frozen hard and difficult to cook the inner without burning the outer part of the meat. Dissapointing experience and not worth the Rm300++ for 2 persons. The ice cream was the best dish for our night.

It is a premium shellout restaurant. Good place if you want to taste a great and different class of shellout cuisine. Using fresh seafood ingredients and great sauce make it worth the money you paid. It might over pricing somehow compare if you can cook it yourself at home using fresh ingredients. Put a little bit part of king crab in each set will be good as it can be something special to the customers. Staff members here are great. Well done.

My personal thought on the food was average and the price is not as par as the quality. Selection are less. Eggs are dirty and not wash, i even told the staff to go and wash all the eggs and they did. At the time i went they don’t have one of the items we ordered and as they said it does not prepare yet and going to take some times, but eventually they never prepare it until we left the premise. They kept repeating that it is not prepared yet.Disappointed.

I wasn't able to get a picture of the meat but the options are pretty good. This was my first time trying out DIY teppanyaki. I recommend going with a group of friends because it's a lot of fun cooking together and chilling there.

Always great to eat here. Belly is guaranteed to be full and satiated after dining. Their all you can eat meat buffet at rm59.90 is a great value for money on top of all the other stuffs included like side dishes and ice cream. The staffs are accommodating and the meat refills are never too slow. As always, a 10/10 and would dine here again and again! Forgive me for the poor photo taken as we were too busy eating.

Beef cubes are tough. Thus, we only ordered for lamb, beef bacon, fish, chicken, and squid. Too crowded on a weekend. They only give you 2 hours to cook and eat which is not enough if you wanna enjoy your meal while talking to your friends. I would only recommend to go on a weekday. I’m also not sure if the crews are overworked. They don’t bring a light/good vibes whenever they approach our table.

As my primary concern was the remittance from SG to MY will take 2 to 3 days, Mr. Shahril, the manager in Bukit Jelutong assured that my orders will still take place and he is very understanding in the remittance process. Maybe if you're not a big fan of teppanyaki, you shouldn't come here unless you want to try to DIY Teppanyaki ;) Cause it is quite boring for me to eat meat after meat without the varieties of other food (don't get me wrong, there is some vege but I'm already full with the meat as it is quite oily too compared to bbq. I think the meats are fresh and all but I wouldn't go for buffet teppanyaki anymore cause it is not worth it for me. *You have to top up for Haagen-Dazs ice cream

I just had their buffet lunch today. It was great. The meat was tender, the staff was really nice. My wife and I really enjoyed it. We ordered the normal buffet plus the add on for ox tongue. Will definitely come again. Please open one in Ampang.

Good deal for budget teppanyaki lover, but take-out experience can be really horrible experience. Plus points: We ordered set lunch australian premium cube steaks and chicken thigh. Set lunch comes with rice, soup, vege and fried wanton. Food is nice and fair size for teppan lovers. Alot of different sauces, environment is good many tables not cramp, and good offer for buffet and wagyu lovers. Bad experience: Ordered from Grab at 12:15pm. Status indicated food is ready for collection. Went to the shop to collect at 1:15pm but ended up waiting for another 30 mins because food was not even prepared or cooked or packed. This means waited almost 1.5 hours upon order sent! Once food was ready, is almost due for our work meeting 2pm. So, we had no choice to have a quick eat and grab a few bites before meeting start! We did not enjoy our food as per expectation and leisure time. Thats why you see we ended up eating our food pack in the shop instead 🥲

This is our first time. We stumbled Kuro Teppanyaki at Setia City, but we decided to had in Sunway Nadayu instead. Excellent service from Mahmud, very attentive and warm. Food wise, you can experience to cook your own teppanyaki, i can even cook egg fried rice. Great experience! Parking wise, a bit difficult if you want to park outside, but there are paid parking infront of the restaurant. Will def come again 👍🏼

For the price, one of the best teppanyaki buffet places I've been to. Definitely get the beef tongue option. The meats are unseasoned when they come and sauce options are limited. But I'm a salt and pepper guy so that's not much of a negative for me. Service staff are all very helpful and the bathroom is clean. Will definitely be back again.

Amazing service by Mahmoud. Keep confirming if the meat is good and if we are able to cook properly. Also did limit our order as we ordered too much. Lucky for us we the food portion was just good as our order got limited from 3 each for beef,lamb and beef slices to 2 each. The salted caramel Hagen dazs ice cream is really good. Would come back again in the future.

The standard buffet is alright, thou the butter they serve is not really good. The service is great too, but the reason its a 2-Star Rating only is because the wagyu buffet is 100% not worth it. It's clearly not wagyu, the marbling is horrible and even the meat in the standard buffet had better fat content than the wagyu. Come only if you want to enjoy the standard buffet. (Thou there are places with better ingredient range and lower prices)

The food selection is okay. You get to cook all the meat and food yourself, and I like that. The food also tasted good provided that you know how to season it properly. The beansprouts were good, but the shells should really be removed for this price point. Drinks are just green tea, ice peach tea and ice lemon tea. Wished there was some kind of soft serve ice cream though.( I am aware that there is Premium ice cream, but there is an extra charge on top of the already somewhat high pricing )

Been here two times and both of it was an excellent experience. They have a paper to teach you how to cook and the meat they provide is excellent. Their pricing is reasonable too which is 50rm for all you can eat and if you want something more premium you can order Wagyu meat Ala carte or add on another 10 something ringgit for their Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

Nice Teppanyaki and friendly staff

The wagyu beefs and the cubed beefs are hardly chewable, tried to cook shorter and longer to see the difference but no difference because there are a lot of muscles in the meat. Makes me feel like the grading of the meat is not up to the “wagyu” standard. Sort of not worth the price for me. But the staffs are friendly thanks!

Very very friendly owner. He approached us a few times just to make sure we were taken care of. The meats were awesome. We took the wagyu package and we were satisfied with the quality. Would definitely be coming back. The haagen - dazs ice cream was too cold because it was hard for us to scoop it. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Quality meat. Although expensive, I think it is worth it. The unlimited ice cream refill is a must get too!

I can't say a bad word about this place, it's just spot on. The seafood was fresh, the sauce was delicious and they've made the 'bucket' concept work exceptionally well. It's almost the perfect place for a spicy bucket of seafood! For what you get, too, it's extremely good value. Worth a trip for, even if you don't live in the local area. Setting is nice too, with a water feature close by and not on a main road, can sit outside in peace! Go here!

First of all, the ambience of the restaurant is so relaxed. Service was excellent. Food was awesome and we loved the food, we ordered the set for 3 and the seafood was cooked with Cajun sauce. I'm quite disappointed because there's so simple. I'm expected more choice of food like usual steamboat. A lot of choices, seafood is my favorite. But haven't seen so much here. Might be their culture eat so simple. But, the decorations are Soo nice too me. If you bringing kids here, cook faster, I looked at others they cooked fast. While we're enjoying cooking while eating 😂😆, so that my kids got eye irritation huhu 🤭😅 but it's ok.... We really enjoyed it. 😁
