The quality of food in this restaurant is absolutely outstanding. Each dish is meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor. Tasty fried rice, contain mushrooms and chicken bits. Portion is just nice for ladies. Salmon is quite nicely cooked but slightly thin. Got a free tofu cheesecake was quite good too, not too sweet just nice for me.

Saw another review and thought it was very accurate: the food looks better than it tastes like. Used to frequent when I lived here and it was just opened, amazing food with crazy long queue. Now after 2/3 years I come back again and so disappointed, the food quality dropped so much and it just doesn’t worth the money anymore. Skewers and Oyako Don were very normal, the most expensive Salmon omelette is below average, so so taste and even a bit cold. Probably won’t visit again.

atmosphere minus one star bc not full aicon felt- takes sm time to feel bit ac cool. food was nice, service too(Thank you PT staff Irene for your extra miles in hospitality & great service always) . Particularly Pancakes r fluffy soft yummy apart from even the noodles (a tad salty base soup though delicious) & rice (would always go for the salmon avocado). On one occasion even tried katsu don for a change- but dn think cmi. other desserts also tastes great. Best is they hv my preferred warm or ice water with lemon slice(professionally presentable)- love it as it's gd for clearing oil aftr heavy meals. I tried the salmon steak mentaiko cream omurice and iced hazelnut latte. My parents shared a hot hazelnut latte, cappuccino and the mango soufflé pancake. The omurice’s portion was okay for me; not too much, not too little. The cream was not heavy and the eggs was well-cooked and not dry. The pancakes were so soft it felt like it was melting in my mouth and the mango was sweet, not sour. The only thing that took points off were the coffees. The hazelnut lattes was too sweet and overly milky. This is the first time I couldn’t finish a latte. I couldn’t even taste the coffee; feels more like hazelnut milkshake. And both my mom and I (who drank the hazelnut lattes) had abit of a tummy ache afterwards.

Food is great. The egg is always consistent. Ordered the steak egg rice set & fruit tea, enough for a hearty meal. Tho the ambience in this branch is not very nice. Noisy & narrow distance between tables

We visited yesterday. It took us to wait 20 minutes but how come the soufflé pancakes are so cold and feels it’s not fresh? I thought your store always makes fresh pancakes for customers, be it if it’s a little warm I’m also fine with it but it’s really cold and it makes me wonder how come the prep time requires 20 mins. First & last time visiting this place. Grams gave me a better experience. 👎🏻

Just recalled this unpleasant service experience I had beginning of August. Had been waiting to be seated, and eventually entered the restaurant by myself thinking that I hadn’t been noticed outside. One of the younger waiters looked up at me but ignored me and didn’t show me to a seat. I was confused because I had been to other outlets and this was not how they invited customers in. Another lady walked past but did not show me to a table. Both of them did not seem occupied though, they were not attending to other orders or customers from what I observed. Eventually just took a seat by myself … Food was good as usual, but took quite a while to arrive. The staff also did not seem very happy to serve us. Not too sure if they were having a bad day, but this was definitely one of the least favorable service experiences I’ve had with Tamago-En.
