Il Panigaccio

Ottima cucina e servizio attento.

Very nice atmosphere in a lovely square of a very small and cosy Italian town in Tuscany. The Panigacci is food of local specialty. In this place it’s all you can eat, and it’s sufficient. Beside there is also on the menu a generous size streak portion. I enjoyed everything. Only suggestion is to give some bread to make the “scarpetta”, at the end of the meal, because the sauce is too yummy not to eat it. I will be back here again.

Un ristorante un po’ fuori mano e pure dentro un po’ scomodo… su diversi livelli … in un piccolo borgo. Il cibo insomma … i panigacci bolliti al pesto un po’ insipiditi e quelli cacio e pepe un po’ pesanti. Quelli invece secchi per essere due porzioni un po’ scarsi… 3 fette di salame due di crudo due di mortadella e due di coppa. Stracchino e gorgonzola porzioni minuscole. Sinceramente non ci tornerei.

Excellent local restaurant with delicious food! Even though we did not have a reservation they managed to arrange a table for us on a busy Saturday evening. In the restaurant they serve various forms of "panigacci": a traditional one served with cheese and ham selection or as pasta with various sauces (we had pesto version and ragù). They also offer many local wines and delicious desserts. Tiramisu that we had was great!

It’s been an experience. We’re from Spain and Luigi introduced us to the local food and how charming this little village could be. The pasta (caccio pepe, bolognese & mushroom) was INCREDIBLE! And we didn’t get the wine but people seemed to like it a lot! Food is unbeatable, hospitality even better, experience was amazing.

The restaurant was full on a Thursday, and I understand why. Delicious food and fantastic service. Will for sure include this place on my next trip to Toscana .

Excellent and original local Tuscan food. The staff were very helpful in accommodating us when we decided to visit when passing one evening. We enjoyed our meal so much we came back the next evening too. Particular recommendations are the t-bone steak and the carbonara, which were outstanding. Very strongly recommended!

We had a lovely dinner at the table on the square outside. Panigacci in any form (traditionally baked or cooked as a pasta) was amazing! I highly recommend this place! We had no booking on a very busy Saturday evening but they found a solution and served us very well. Extremely nice stuff!

Just wonderful! Super kind and friendly staff, a fun setting on a cute little square and the food simply amazing. It was the highlight of our trip. I would recommend it to everyone. Best to book ahead, by the way. This place was packed (September 2023)
