Unique place to hike and relax at. There are 7 tiers of waterfalls for you to explore within a few steps between them. The hike is short but very narrow, steep and slippery, and expect 40-50 degree rocky slopes to climb up in parts without stairs. Please do not come during public holidays because it is jam packed and many groups of people will go up to have a picnic. Lastly, beware of monkeys within the park area. There are probably hundreds of them just waiting to steal food and other items. Will be great if you can bring a hiking stick with you and please keep your kids very close by. Will definitely visit again during off-peak times and days.

Went with family on 3/9/2023. Paid RM3 per adult price and RM5 parking. The entrance should be one way direction but many idiot drivers did not follow the traffic rules and went on opposite direction which is very dangerous. Limited parking at the entrance but there is another bigger parking lot further down closer to the resident area. Kanching waterfalls has 7-tier and each tier has their own unique waterfall. Unfortunately there were way too many visitors that smoke and even bring canned beers to drink at the waterfall and then simply dump at the site. Lots of rubbish being dumped on everywhere. It was really pathetic to see how such a beautiful waterfalls being treated like a dumpsite and polluted. Authority should make sure no smoking in the waterfall as the waterfall area has many children around. Besides, visitors are setting fire to cook and even BBQ causing more air pollution as thought the current haze isn't bad enough. Went to kanching waterfall for few times but the cleanliness is getting worst.

Quite a nice hike. Though I only reached to the foot of the third waterfall, it was worth it. Should you choose to hike up further, just understand that it’ll start to get steep. As you hike up, there aren’t any proper pavement/steps or railing so ensure you wear proper hiking shoes and watch on the weather forecast to avoid an slippery mess. Monkeys aren’t afraid of humans and they always welcome themselves to your picnic party. I strongly urge you not to feed them or bare your teeth, you definitely don’t want to disturb the peace of nature. Other than that, it’s a good, easy enough hike for those without knee issues while immersing yourself with nature. Oh! There’s an entrance fee of MYR3 per person for Malaysians.

Very nice waterfall spot. It was fairly empty early morning around 8.45am. By 10am the crowd started to pour in. The walk up to the first pool area was very manageable for most people. The walk further up looks slightly more challenging. Overall cleanliness has to be improved. Bathroom / changing area needs to be upgraded as well. There were monkeys hanging around looking for food, but they were not aggressive.

We were there on a weekend. We arrived at around 10ish. The parking area closest to the entrance was already full, so we had to drive around 40-50 metres away to a secondary car park. We did not have problems finding a place to park. To enter the park, we paid 8 rm for 4 of us. (Mask is compulsory when entering/ exiting the park). We walked and climbed some stairs for around 15 minutes to reach the top area of the waterfall. I guess we could do it in less time but there were so many monkeys, and we had to stop a few times. (My f&n orange was 'taken' by a monkey who came too close, and i just had to let go). I love the waterfall. There was some litter in the area but not much (some may be caused by the monkeys). All in all, a mixed experience😃...

Entrance is only 7MYR, and the park is well worth it. The Kanching waterfall has 7 tiers, of which the first three are relatively crowded, a few go up to the 5th, and the last two have a more challenging path and almost no one on the road. The walkways until tier 5 are easy to climb and good for beginners. Plan for a few hours or half a day

Considering how close this is to KL itself, it's a 5 star from me. I came today (a Thursday) and it was super quiet. I used Grab from KLCC and it was only 30RM (I gave 35 as was feeling generous). I walked all the way up to 7th level (and beyond but that got a bit jungle-scary) and spent all morning chilling with/in waterfalls followed by hanging out with a 100-strong troop of monkeys on the way down. They weren't aggressive at all (to me). We had an understanding I think (plus I had a stick I had used for negotiating the path higher up!). Recommended for semi-fit and above.

Parking dalam RM5/car. Fees untuk masuk ke dalam RM3/person. Toilet dekat dalam nak masuk bayar 50sen or rm1 tah. Don’t remember this one the exact price. Ada kedai makan runcit also dalam tu. Always wear shoes. If u manage to hike till the top waterfall worth it actually. But no proper track. Maybe can bring someone used to hike there. Recommended! Just be careful with animals (monkey, snakes, frogs etc). Please don’t buang sampah merata.

Entrance fee is RM 2 and car parking is RM 5. There are three levels of the falls. You can enjoy at the first and second meanwhile the third normally won't have people so it is suggested to avoid it just incase of emergencies. The place does have friendly monkeys.

I went there on Christmas and school holiday but the crowd was reasonable. Because it was already past 5.30pm we decide not to go to waterfall which located further inside the forest. We still can enjoy the serene and the sound of river flowing down there while kids playing in the water which is below adult knee deep. Next time we will try the waterfall area.

Place for a mini trek and to see some nature. Waterfalls are quite nice. It has its own level of dangers for a waterfall, have to be careful when climbing the rocks along the falls. Got small reptiles so watch out. The wild animals are fine, but the humans! It will get crowded, really crowded, in weekends and public holidays. Worst part here is people bring shampoo and soap and bath here, literally like in their houses. This should be stopped. Management charge rm2 and 5 for locals and foreigners. Restroom here not that clean, so better finish your business in some highway rest area before you come.

It's a beautiful place but I hope they fix the facilities like the gazebo and pathways. There are 7 tiers of waterfalls or levels like the reviewers mention. Lowest levels is easier for families with kids to reach.

A great place if you're up for an adventure and to spend time in nature. We went all the way up till the 7th tier of the waterfall and it was a crazy workout. The first few tiers were easily accessible and great for families as the routes were relatively easy. As the journey continues, it started to get a little more tiring as the routes were rocky, slippery, and we got lost twice due to the misleading routes. Important lesson: when you feel lost, really look for those tapes tied on the tree trunks. It can be located on routes that may seem not travelled. Once we reached the top, it was perfect to soak ourselves and to picnic. Quieter as no young children. Journey down gotta be extra careful due to the steepness and how slippery it is. Great adventure nevertheless.

The beauty of the waterfall was tainted by uncivilized trash people leaving behind trash such as plastics and alcoholic cans. I saw in front of my eyes a group of myanmar/Vietnam people throw alcholic cans into the bushes. I wouldn't dare to yell at them since they're in a big group and looks scary. I hope Tuan Puteri there teach them a lesson by haunting them. ?

Great place to spend your weekends or spare time with your family. 1. The entrance fee is MYR 2 per head. 2. Parking can be a bit of a problem. Do come early if you want to get the nearest space to the entrance. 3. Toilets and musolla are provided not far from the entrance but we couldnt see any toilets along the hiking to the waterfall. Do your business before going up. 4. The first and second picnic area can be accessed by flight of staircases. If you intend to go further up, you need to trek the jungle. 5. Beware of the monkeys and thieves too. Take care of your belongings.

Indeed is a most nature place to have within or closed to the city. Proper car park and stall at the entrance. Have some basic facilities for visitors. Tracking path and concrete steps only half way up than have to continue walking through the nature trail to reach the top level. The lower level until last pathway was well maintained. The waterfalls very beautiful and multilevel. Moderate hiking to reach to the top. For those who plan to camping and bring food must beware with a monkey because they are very aggressive. Don't left your foods or bag unguarded. Even if you carried a plastic bag with food especially women or children could be snatched by them.

If you have weak knees like me (knee caps not in good condition for extreme activities) then you should go to this place. Its pool not so far from the car park. Also there is no entrance fee except for the parking lot which charges a few Ringgit per head. The water is great but watch out for the monkeys who will grab your bags if it contains foods or drinks. The toilets at the bottom area opens early but the one at the pool only opens at noon. There are snakes and parrots display but you will be charged a few Ringgit to take photos with it.

Fun!!! But only if it’s not crowded. We went at 730am on a weekend. Climbed up a little bit but did not summit as were told it was closed. Many locals come here to swim, chill, picnic, even BBQ. Expect decent wildlife if you come during a quiet time.

✍️A refreshing waterfall which is reachable by a small trek. Young Malaysians come in groups with all accessories like a Tent, eatables, barbeque etc to spend a few hours. Better to reach early and finish early else you can easily get caught in traffic. Not very spectacular but an ok item to add in your Malaysia exploration list 👍👍👍👍👍

I was here for a group hiking activity at Bukit Unyang (must have hiking permit and guide). All cars parked in Taman Eko Rimba Kancing. 1. Parking fee RM5 for each car (gate open at 6.30AM). 2. There are several food stalls and the prices are reasonable (more to local foods). 3. The surrounding area is quite clean (parking area, food stalls & park areas), only need to have more trash bin in the area to avoid littering everywhere. 4. The condition of public toilets and bathrooms is quite sad and not very clean. A person is charged of 50 cents. Please upgrade the toilet and bathroom and to charge a reasonable entrance fee. I dont think this is an important issue, public/visitor could pay as long the surroundings are clean and tidy. 5. The waterfall area is dirty with trash left by visitors who are still low-minded and selfish. Avoid going during school holidays or public holidays. I feel sorry for the cleaner workers too.

Those who do not respect the park are not welcome here. A foreigner was spotted throwing a plastic bottle into the waterfall. Those who are responsible for the large amount of rubbish found at the waterfall should be banned from entering the park again. Pieces of broken glass (liqour bottle) were found in the water at the highest waterfall. Someone could get badly hurt. The Park authority should check what the visitors bring into the park. Learn from Sg. Chiling Park management. A group of foreigners even brought a loud speaker. No alcohol party should be allowed. Perhaps the park authority should collect a deposit. Forfeit the deposit if they do not take out their rubbish. Only one cleaner was seen in the park. At this rate, he won't be able to cope with the amount of rubbish soon. We need to protect our parks. Keep it clean! Nature lovers: Do share photos of the litterbugs here. They should be reported to the authorities.

Nice place for some fun and exercise. You can hike, dip in the water and camp there. RM3 per person and RM5 for car parking. There is an alternate parking down the road at the same price. 3 waterfalls, water is clear and cool. Shady with thick foliage. It's quite a hike, the trail is slippery, do exercise caution. Maintenance should be done for the missing steps, rusty and broken railings. There are many monkeys there and visitors strewn rubbish all over. The bottom of some of the animal proof trash bins are also broken, which meant the monkeys could pull trash out from the bottom. Sadly, this is quite a common state of many parks in Malaysia. There are many shops at the entrance selling cooked food, swim wear, beverages. Unless you are having a picnic at the open area, you shouldn't need to bring food up to the waterfall area. But if you do, please bring your trash along with you!

Great place for a weekend activity with family and get close to the nature. Beginner friendly to walk up the the lower tiers. All 7 tiers in total. The nicest view is probably at the 3rd or 4th tier. You can bring your own food there for a picnic but beware of all the monkeys wandering around looking for food and you want to take good care of your belongings all the time! Do bring a plastic bag to clean up the mess after

And the mgmt must improvise the area to attrack more tourist to that area. Make sure all the visitors bring back their rubbish before leaving.

Lovely walk up to the beautiful waterfalls on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. There was was plenty of parking and a small fee to enter the park area. The walk it's self can be quite steep and a lot of steps so maybe difficult for the elderly or infirm but despite the little trek up , it is well worth it to see the stunning falls. There was plenty of places to stop and have a picnic and also a few refreshment stalls and cafe next to the car park. Their is also a toilet block close by to the refreshments. However be careful with your food and belongings as their is also troops of very dear but very mischievous Macaque monkeys that are resident.

Stunning waterfall, exciting hiking trails next to gushing water! This is a beautiful place so close to the city. Unfortunately, the amount of rubbish strewn around is equally shocking! Seven tiers of waterfall with a challenging hike up the last. Amidst natural ran forest.

Great place for outdoor activities. First few waterfalls are great for family outing. After waterfall, there will be a moderate trail suitable for hikers that looking for more than Gasing hike. Difficulty to reach the top is 6 out of 10, more slippery after heavy rain.

Totally worth to visit this place. Recommended all of you go all the way up to the waterfall. There is only few small streams up there to created this beautiful waterfall landscape, and it's really peaceful. Also very easy to climb up

When visiting the park, would recommend to have plenty of fluids for hydration especially for people who are not used to very humid environments. Place is wonderful, trail to the falls become harder and slippery especially when wet.
