Went there on a weekday recently after more than 8 years of my visit there, the place hasn't change much except some additional decorations and new sightings, not crowded, much lesser visitors (probably it's a weekday), lesser stalls beside the temple but there are many new restaurants and a cafe nearby. Previous parking lot at the front of the Temple has turned into others properties hence limited parking spaces.

A beautiful temple by the hilly side of durian orchard. Well planned and designed on different levels and very well maintained. Not meant for old folks though. Not a long stretch of steps but still many set of stairs to reach the top part. Amazingly, there is a long suspension bridge linking to the hilly orchard...towards the statue of giant size monkey god overlooking the hills. I have yet to hike up...too hot during noon. Will do the hiking on another early morning. The environment was very serene and relaxing accompanied by nice blue sky. My first visit was on a weekend and it was too crowded. Best to visit on a weekday and can try out the restaurants nearby.

Revisiting this temple after many years, I was delighted to find it still beautifully maintained and exuding an aura of tranquility. The temple grounds were remarkably clean and serene, especially on a weekday morning. The breathtaking views from the temple were a feast for the eyes, and the overall atmosphere was one of profound peace. A convenient food stall and a souvenir shop cater to visitors' needs just outside the temple premises. Additionally, ample free parking is available, making accessibility a breeze. I highly recommend this temple to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat amidst stunning scenery. No ticket needed. But they accept donations.

Command a majestic view of the surrounding mountains & valleys. In the rear, the garden on the hill top is well-designed; a cosy place to relax.

Visited this tample last week and we enjoyed our visit here. It is out in the countryside, up in the hills. A lovely site with colourful and impressively designed gardens and temples. There is cross bridge which lead to Highest Monkey King Statue in Malaysia Record Book.

A very unique local attraction, a must go at Broga.. all the photo shooting spots are well planned on the hill with minimum earth cutting.. need to be physically fit to get to the top where the Monkey King Statue is located. ..There are many seatings along the way up so you are able to rest in between when walking up..

We came on a weekday and it wasn't crowded. There are many scenic spots in this temple to take photos. However, there are many steps to get to the top and not wheelchair accessible.

Attractive place: interesting traditional Chinese architecture, with various god and goddess statues, and nice landscaping. The temple complex covers 2 hills, connected by a pedestrian walkway which looks like the San Francisco golden gate bridge. A tall monkey god statue on top of the second hill. Nice view of surrounding hills and plains from top. Impressive!

A nice temple to visit or getaway from busy city life. A hanging bridge is located in the temple connecting to a mountain where a Monkey King statue is located. Quite packed with visitors during my visit to this temple on second day of Chinese New Year.

Free entrance. A good place for family day. Be aware of the road you choose, Google Map suggested a small kampung road which allows only one car to pass by. Be careful if you're scare of dogs, but they're quite docile. Not recommend for elderly as the route to the large monkey king statue is very steep and there's a lot of staircase here.

Spacious and huge temples to explore. Remember to wear your hiking shoes for it. For those who scared of the height, beware of the bridge, it quite shaky when you reach the center though there is few people on the bridge. It's a must to go places. ☺

It's a relaxing place to walk around. Lots of uphill and stairs so there is a little exercise going in. Nice sculpture. Would be good if they painted it back to make them vibrant again. Chairs are all clean to sit. No bird poop on them. The temple runs on donation. Entry is free.

Very well maintained temple and a comfortable environment. The Sun Wukong statue is extremely magnificent. It's quite a far drive from city center but it would be one of those things that you wanna strike out from your bucket list. Choose to come here either morning or evening as afternoon is rather hot though there's a cooling breeze.

Well-maintained. Temple also provided the sequences of praying helps a lot of devotees in performing their spiritual activities. Nice view from the hills where the Sun Wu Kong’s huge idols located. You need a stamina to climb the hill too. There is a bridge linked temple side to the hill side. Peaceful environment as the temple located in a small town / village at Broga / Semenyih. You can have a relax mind here too. You also can take a lots of picture here. After visiting the temple, you can walk to a cafe in front of the temple to have a ABC and Fruit Rojak.

A beautiful temple with the biggest free standing Sun Wu Kung Monkey God in Malaysia. Good place to sweat it out due to the steep climb or can cross the bridge.

I was told this Sak Dato temple is very auspicious and got people strike lottery after getting numbers from here. A beautiful and well landscaped place. There is a bridge where you can walk across uphill to see the biggest Monkey god (Sun Wu Kong) statue. A must visit when you’re in Semenyih or Broga.

Though this temple is a little far-off from City center, it is worth to pay a visit. There is Malaysia's tallest Sun Wu Kong Statue after suspension bridge. There are many photograph spot before suspension bridge, worth to spend some time walking around. Be sure to bring along your water bottle, you may need to walk a little to reach Sun Wu Kong.

This place has good scenery for photo shooting and good place to have outdoor jogging or walking. Temple is one of the famous, thus crowded with tourists and local people. But it has a big land for parking.

Beautiful temple in the heart of nature. Fresh air and clean spring water flowing nearby. What a sanctuary to rejuvenate and introspect, even if you are not a Buddhist. Will definitely return.

Beautiful temple with a suspension bridge and the tallest Sun Wu Kong 孙悟空 statue on a hill top. Some steps to walk for elderly, should be a good exercise.

This place is well taken care, nice and serene around. There are two parts, one is the main temple grounds and across the suspension bridge, is the hilly area where the 'Tallest Sun Wukong Dato Statue' in Malaysia. The walk up is quite steep and it is a tar path. Upon reaching the top where the Sun Wukong Dato Statue is, there are plenty of seats for you to enjoy the scenery around. Love the place ❤ is so peaceful and windy here as there was no crowd today.

  • 4/5 Angel L. 4 years ago on Google
I like this place. You can spend half a day visiting the temple, eating a lunch nearby and buying some local season fruits like durian, sweetsop, mangosteens and can proceed to Semenyih for hot soup or Kajang town for Satay...

  • 4/5 Kelly Y. 2 years ago on Google
This temple is perced on a hilltop with beautiful scenery of the many fishing ponds and durian orchards in this area. There's a lot of stairs and walking leading all the way to the tallest Sun Wukong deity . There's also a hanging bridge connecting to the statue.
