Restaurant Indonesian restaurant

😐 I am a big fan of Indonesian food, the red and green sambal, pergedil, among others, so we made a beeline for it. My wife made her order, and my turn came. The ordering process is messy as they already assume you want the Nasi Kapau, which is rice with an assortment of greens, sambal, no meat. So... People often mention sambal, chips,

I am a big fan of Indonesian food, the red and green sambal, pergedil, among others, so we made a beeline for it. My wife made her order, and my turn came. The ordering process is messy as they already assume you want the Nasi Kapau, which is rice with an assortment of greens, sambal, no meat. So that began on the wrong foot. I ordered the usual Malaysian way, rice with MY choice of meats, and others. After the order, I made a quick run to a convenience store as I wasn't keen on their limited drink choices. I returned and waited. And waited. And waited. My wife had finished her food, and I was still waiting. What happened was that they had run out of potato chips, and since they could not replenish it yet, they moved my order back to the end of the line. They did not have the sense of mind to inform me, or at least serve the other dishes as I had ordered 'hidang'. They thought that making me wait for my food was the better alternative. After a bit, I saw a waiter with a plate of chips walking into the kitchen, and I approached the serving counter. The chips was supposed to be mine!!! Not that any of my food had reached my table. And so the serving guy goes into a rant. I think you get the picture!!! And I still had not rcvd my food. So it finally arrived!! With the chips. Which were burnt. The wife warned me not to eat it as blackened chips are carcinogenic. Anyways, food wise, I thought that the chicken serunding was way too hard. It was impossible to strip it down with a fork and spoon. The serunding was fried to a crisp. So that was out. I did like the red and green sambals although I am a sucker for those things. The pergedil was average, and the chips were burnt. Excuse the rant. It was the frustration.

My first time having nasi kapau. Food was good. But I prefer spicier sambal.

Tried their ayam bakar set, the ayam bakar and sambal taste good but overall with the price, it should be given tahu+tempe, remove the salad and rice portion more. Since the shop has limited space so the seating arrangement is quite packed if crowded and not enough ventilation so if staying longer, your clothes/hair will have food smell.

Food was average and not really many choices of foods. The cleanliness of the shop is okay 👌

The food that i ordered was good, you might not need to order the additional chicken/beef (rm7~8) if you’re not so hungry as the rice package (rm7.50) itself is very filling - rich and creamy. Went at 7pm, the veggies were still fresh. The sambal was not spicy. Not much drinks option - mineral water and teh botol costs rm3.80. Another option is coke but im not sure about the price.

Like... broo?? The food is amazing. Indonesian food is amazing. Of course not 100% to what the food in Indonesia is, but I would say 85% there. But the 2nd floor is kind of warm, they need to fix the AC.

not so much with the options. they don't even serve plain water just some ice? the foods, honestly you get it somewhere else with much cheaper price. the ayam geprek is spicy. it was 5/10 . the atmosphere, it was small that we kind of sit behind the front counter. the service was nice tho. the lady who serves as was so sweet. for parking, it's ss15 for starters

Tried their Nasi kapau with ayam goreng serondeng. cost me rm19.60 including teh botol. Their sambal very mild spicy. not really kaw to my liking. and their chicken is really small, almost like quail size. It will be great if they can add more variety on drinks options, sambal options and of course the chicken size.
