My last visit here was 12 years ago. Many things have changed. Orang asli inhabitants at the RPS kg Pertak collect RM1 for entry into the trail. Campers are charged RM10 per head to set up tents at several sites along the trail. Some places are truly filthy with plastic waste and charred foodstuff lying around. Even though the Hulu Selangor Town Council have left a RORO bin at a public parking area, only responsible hikers are keeping this public trail clean. I met an orang asli youth who gave me the lowdown on entrance fees and campground rentals. At least they are enterprising enough to collect revenue for the village. This is an easy trail for hikers and the campgrounds are also well maintained.

Visited on Thursday morning. No crowd at all at the time. Parking and the trail to reach the place was easy. Just be careful when stepping on the rocks because some of them are VERY slippery. Note that there's a RM1 entrance fee per person.

Place accessible from main road to the picnic area. Fees is RM1 only per person. Ample parking space. Good for family get together. Can bring it outside food.

Nice replacement place to chill, since Sg Chilling frequently closed. The water is clean, cold and refreshing, but need to be beware of slippery rocks. The downside is the parking, make sure you reverse park your car so that you can easily get out .

Nice waterfall and place for picnic including trekking and hiking . clear waterfall and not polluted . expected difficult to find parking and might need to walk a bit far especially during school holiday . No toilet available like other waterfalls ... but its okay for me .

Nice camping spot. There are 2 sifferent route. One is going to lata medang while another is going to the hill. The route to lata medang waterfall takes 2-3 hours 1 way. Mostly flat terrain so easy to trek to the waterfall. If you change your mind, there are stops along the way that is near the river. U can cool off and set up your camping gear and dive into the water. Nice environment overall.

Visible rubbish strewn all over the area. Need to be more sensitive in ensuring the area is not polluted with plastic wrappers, bottles, aluminium cans and all modern day rubbish
