The quality of food dropped compared my last visit few months ago. Been here few times, the taste was used to be good. This time ordered Roasted Chicken Briyani, but the taste really disappointing, especially when we had to pay almost RM30 for a chicken briyani and warm water served in plastic cup, surely not worth the price. Though the quantity was huge, suitable for 2 person, but how to eat if the taste is not good. Any briyani in KL, costing half of the amount, surely tastes better.

I must say BKBB is overrated! Prawn Briyani : prawn not so fresh (meat not firm) 😒😕 Mud Crab Briyani : nice spicy taste to accommodate the crab but felt the crab was over cooked and had a bit of slimy feel inside the shell 😒☹️ Mutton Dry Roast Biryani : Wait too long for this, ended up packed with a chicken Briyani when opened up at home😠☹️. Called the customer service and they agreed to refund the differences of Chicken Briyani & Mutton Briyani Overall, felt it's over priced (felt unreasonable pricing too). The waiting time was just too long as not able to cater for the holiday season orders; i actually waited 2 hours for the over hyped Briyani 😶😑 Taste wise, the Briyanis had that not well cooked curry powder taste, that 'killed' our much awaited excitement. 😢☹️ Personally, just an honest opinion, bkbb should enhance the order management, sufficient to cater for holiday season orders as people coming from far away towns i.e. Seremban, Raub, Kajang, KL etc to avoid the disappointment for Briyani lovers 😢😑☹️

Not great as advertised. The food is pricey. The chicken briyani is normal. Prawn briyani costs RM 44 with only 4 regular prawns. Hmm not worth it. Mutton gear box is also RM 44 with few pieces of mutton. What a waste of money 💸💸

It's gtg poor.. not worth for price. The Rm10 briyani more tastier.. no herbal taste. Looks like mixed rice with Curry.. paying so much but all self service. Don't waste your time and money.

Im really sorry to give a such a bad review because my family and i was too disappointed. Firstly, SOP was not followed and 1 of the worker has given statement that "customers came like batu cave crowd". Secondly about the food, the taste was not yummy as last time was terrible because we have waiting for hourse n gt chill briyani, even the mutton in the bamboo was cold and the taste of the drinks was tasteless except tandoori chai. Third the management was not proper, as customer we wasn't aware that we had to order food through scanning the barcode even the people working ovr there didn't bother of informing the customers.Forth, the food is to expensive and really not worth it at all.Overall the food was not nice n the seafood was not fresh. Highly not recommended

Very disappointing. They're transitioning to Franchise Style at the expense of customers and employees! The biryani is tasteless, overly spicy hot. We ordered the chiclen varuval biryani at 11.50am. They had run out but never informedus. Served the rendang biryani instead. The raita, its not raita if you use mayonnaise!! Ridiculous pricing for poor quality food and service. If u want to do franchising, do it right. Dont be greedy!!

The overated Briyani ever Price is too Expensive Taste is not as per expectation level Space and shop Enviroment is good and clean.But the dont have much variable choices for briyani maybe because I went late but is still was lunch time at 2pm. For chicken they only have Chicken Varuval. I had Chicken Varuval Briyani and Tandori Coffee overall can say ok lah. For me the looks like too much pricy. Briyani was serve within 15min to 20min time. If you hungry and hurry this place not recommend and for the price is too expensive. Chicken Varuval Briyani is RM35/Person Chicken is Big but Rice is not much. Lamb Shank Briyani is RM75 im not sure is depends Market price or not. So far my honest review is one time only can try just for experiences. Thank you.

There is no point putting board at front of the shop. Service is utmost worst. Came early waited for more than 1 and half hour but still food didnt came. Got food for whoever came later than us. Lack of number of staffs and their arrogant attitude.. we had a kid who also waited for for so long. When we asked, keep neglecting. What the point we paid it??? I wished would cancel this shop 100%. First and last.

I have travel from Petaling jaya to Batang Kali for taste this Biryani but not great as advertised , total waste time and money sorry to give a such a bad review , The food tasteless and to expensive really not worth Rm 16 Briyani taste much better then this , we spend Rm490 for noting the drinks ok satisfied. Overall the food was not nice n the seafood was not fresh. Highly not recommended

Overall it was a very bad experience for me, Food was very salty. I ordered crab briyani which was inedible the tiger prawn masala gravy was good but the prawns was not so fresh some of the prawns was mushy. Andra chicken was good. The environment and atmosphere was okay but the main point is the food was salty, taste matters more compared to the atmosphere. Lastly the service was not so good as the we had difficulty speak with the staff as the staff could really speak English or Malay, all the staffs were Bangladeshi or Nepali. Main reason for me to write this review is the crab briyani was brought back by the staff to the kitchen to be washed and cooked again, I’m sure that the staff didn’t throw the crab as they brought it directly from our table to kitchen. The price was Rm 185 for 3 briyani (1 vege , 1crab and 1 mutton) 2 drinks , 2 dishes (prawn and chicken). It’s expensive for the bad experience I had. It’s a waste of money. Price they asked was for a professional service but the experience is not up to the par of the price.

I'm afraid for a restaurant to be declared as world famous nasi briyani bamboo, the taste, comfort and service offered is overly skewed to the opposite end. Staffs are not too keen to speed up their services whenever there are queues for food to be served (40 mins waiting time), cutleries were all used up, no urgency to wash up used ones in order to provide the next needed customers to dine in at their place. Me and my friends have to resort in cleaning used cutleries to share each other, for us to be given opportunity to dine in our food. While their overall interior and exterior outlooks does place a significant effort and budget to shape things up, I'm afraid to say such restaurant best describes the phrase do not judge a book by its cover. Really enticing at first thought, felt you're being cheated upon exiting the restaurant. Let's hope the restaurant owner is open enough to accept such criticism and to make improvements towards it, as they can be potentially very good to very bad easily from one way to the other, provided if they are equipped with well trained and efficient staffs to run the operation of their restaurant, proclaimed to be world famous bamboo nasi briyani.

Cashier said got halal status (although no cert was shown) & insist that I pay first. So bought 1 chicken briyani (rm33 each) & 2 mutton briyani (rm44 each). Found out not listed in JAKIM's official halal directory. Pretty upset.

Food was good. But waiting time was too long. Less staff. Lack of service. 1 time can go here. Wont repeat again. Because of the service by the staff.

This is my first time visiting here, and it's taken me 2 hours to get here. At the end, I just received terrible food and service. The food is very cold, they serve old food to customers. It's not freshly cooked either. When I asked the staff, he simply mentioned that today is Sunday. If Sunday means you provide food directly from your fridge? Do we eat for free? The food cost around 200 MYR. Really terrible experience. I wait for 1 hour and 15 minutes for this wasted Briyani, in which the shop is empty, and you took your own sweet time, then served us your old kept food in the refrigerator. I highly recommend people don't visit here.

As a restaurant that hails of their bamboo Briyani is the best as they are the first and so forth should speak a loud through their food. It was our first time there, and the first thing that turned us off was their notice board 🤷🏻‍♀️ But unfortunately, their briyani is far from worth, its overly spiced, and its spicy. Menu named after artists or movies and its pricey. It seems like the cooking kitchen is out from the outlet, so you don't really get the aroma as you enter to dine-in.

Food was nice...ambient eating place but over priced for certain items, i.e egg burji. Should have normal mutton briyani rather than just gearbox briyani😅

The food was just fine. The mutton pieces in the biryani was cooked so well and tender. Biryani has the curry within the banana leaf pack itself. Perhaps not for people who love their biryani served dry. The Fish pollichu was amazing (I loved it). Very well cooked, the masala was yummy and for some reason it was perfect to me. Tandoori Chai was not my kind (~personal opinion) as I'd like it lite. But this one was thick, sweet and creamy.

First time came here after seeing the advertisement through fb.. Worst ever food we had before and waited so long nearly One hour to get our food. The taste is not as expected!!!!! We ordered Tandoori Coffee but never get after we finished our meals also. Taste was terrible than roadside briyani. Very disappointed with meals taste. Its too spicy no tatse of briyani. The staffs even not understand the English or malay or tamil language.. Not recommended restaurant and don't waste your money!!!!

It’s a pleasant experience altogether. I would rate the overall service as satisfying. We were greeted and serviced by a staff can Imran. He was super helpful and friendly. The price was pretty reasonable and the portion of the briyani was big and 1 was sufficient for a couple. The fish podimas was good. Setback was the portion of the masala chicken. It was a small portion and the Goli Soda drink was not up to par. We shall come back with a happy heart🥰🫰

Seafood was a generous portion for 5 to 6pax Egg podinass also was good and coffee is the signature choice not to be missed

Better order via the app cause need to wait very long for the food but the food is really tasty. Tried crab Biriyani and mutton biriyani. Too bad it's very far, if not I would have tried every other dishes there. Disappointed with that chai tandoori cause it was served in a glass only. Didn't see the tandoori or the clay cup. Later we ask for the clay cup. The chai is expensive for 1 person though.

Food is good, service very bad.. waiting hours too long about 1.5hrs. Food was nice, but raita and egg served too late and serve after request, almost to the end of completing the meal. Insufficient staff (only 3 staff working during peak hours) to serve the customers

The food is really nice we ordered the kerala crab briyani and kerala mutton fry. However its pricy. The above with 1 mineral water, coffee and ginger ale came up to RM170. But to experience good tasty bamboo briyani one should definitely try the above
