Since its last renovation around last year, this restaurant has stepped up their level. The restaurant now is more comfortable, it has surau, clean toilets and all the cooking were done at the back of the restaurant. So, no smell or smoke gets in inside the restaurant. They only need to improve on the communication skill of their staffs. Food all tasted good for the price range. 👍

Recommended. Good food with a nice variety from locals, Thai to western food. Very clean place, nice and airy. The food portions? I'm fooled by first appearances. I cant finish my Nasi Goreng Belacan with a side dish of Ikan Siakap Masak Stim Limau (just 2 spoonful, sharing with 7 people), dishes look just nice when they arrived, but they're actually quite a lot! Portions are generous. Theres a small stall for grilling satay outside. They got various sizes of long tables inside for different sizes of parties/ families, (seats 14 to 4 people) and open alfresco round tables outside (utilizing the sidewalk out front at night). Theres 3 big flat screens inside. For muslims, theres a small surau right inside, and the brochures stated that they have meeting rooms and luncheons services.

Restaurant Ahmad Afzal is high end restaurant with the combination of Malay fusion and traditional fusion food. Price is reasonable and the taste of the food is good. Service provided by the staff are awesome as well. Tom Yam Soup Best Giler.

The food tasted good. I like creamy salmon pasta; they put a lot of salmon! I came here at 10:30 pm so tak ramai orang. Makanan sampai cepat so tak payah tunggu lama. Overall satisfied and will repeat here again in future!

Taste : The food taste delicious! I can say the food is freshly cooked. The fish doesn't smell at all. We ordered spicy lala, and there's no mud found. Portion : Satisfied! This restaurant manage well their portion size and pax. Environment : Super cozy and clean. I loveee how they arrange their table so that we felt comfortable. Advance. They got separate surau for different gender as well! And it is well maintained, clean and also doesn't smells. By far, this particular restaurant has became our family fav restaurant. Since they opened their mini eatery at the rawang bus stop then until now they relocated at a better and strategic location, their food tastes even better. Owner is friendly. Staffs need more practice on communication skills tho.

i ordered nasi mandi chicken 4 pax and it was great, the nasi really taste good. the portion was satisfied, 5 people can have it. worth with the price, thumbs up!

Honest opinion, they trying to cater for too large of variety of food i.e. Thai, Arabic, Western and more. Jack of all trades and the master of none. Hence, the average rating, food was pretty average in taste, service wasn't exceptional and nothing to rant about the atmosphere. Could be more specialise on key dishes would help.

Great food with big portion. Nice coffee &ayam penyek. HALAL. Ample parking. Affordable price. Service quite slow considering the shop has no customer when we're there for late lunch.

Bought a mandi lamb shank and a kiwi shake. Pros : Kiwi shake tasted average. Nothing spectacular. Service wise was fine. Waiters are attentive. Cons : Mandi lamb shank > you can't color basmathi rice yellow and call it mandi. mandi rice has a distinct taste. and you don't garnish mandi rice with spring onions and fried shallots > the lamb shank was kinda ok, but it really should've been simmered in a broth (شربة) or served with a side of dhal soup (شربة عدس), not served with a side of generic thai based soup > the salad (سلطة) and chilli sauce (شطة) were bad. totally wrong. salad should be fresh and mixed with olive oil and mint, while the chilli sauce should be tangy and refreshing to cut through the fatty taste of the lamb shank. google it up, lots of recipes on the net. Overall, for something marked as a ?best seller/specialty dish of the restaurant, you need to step it up.
