One of the few long standing family restaurant in Ipoh. Good workforce, variety of dishes, open daily, reasonable pricing. A reliable place always, never fails.

Always order the fresh cook Chapatti and prata in the shop. Probably in this way the food keep fresh and eat nicely..

This shop food use to be terribly lousy but to my surprise after I have visited this shop again to try their indian claypot rice, everything else has improve tremendously, their tosai is consider big and their both "tomato & pudina chutney" is a must try & not forgetting their signature indian mouth watering claypot rice, superbly delicious when it's eaten warm not hot "I notice i could taste the claypot rice flavour when i pack back home when it's warm"..they even have vegetarian mutton & chicken claypot rice which is equally delicious as the non-veg..I highly recommend to everyone who hasn't tried indian claypot rice before..It is a must try. Their pricing is also reasonable roughly below RM10 per claypot which could fill two people's stomach. (NOTE: They are closed on TUESDAYS)

This is a restaurant serving Indian food and operates from early morning 7am to evening about 10pm. Simple and casual. It caters to many from the labourers to the corporate workers who like their Indian style food. Servers are friendly. They also have their own biryani rice and caters for vegetarians too. Ample parking space available.

We had clay pot rice veg, yummy food, one clay pot rice is enough for two people .. if you are a little poor eater, otherwise the portion is sufficient for one person.

Horrible food. Not much choice for vegetarians. Curry and rasam tasted awful. The vegetables were overcooked. No dishes as mentioned on Google. Very poor service. The waiter isn't friendly except for one. I had bad food poisoning after eating over here. Highly not recommended!!

One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavors at Viceroy and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet won't be completely empty... take it from me, I'm a student again. I have even frequented their Lombard location for the lunch when I used to visit in the area and I would totally recommend the place to others. The buffet is a great deal - lots of variety. This place is spiced just right.

Very poor service and the food was not tasty. No respect for customers as they were rushing to close the restaurant and sweeping the floor despite customers was still eating.

Can get breakfast stuff whole day. They also have claypot briyani during lunch time. Good food. Not enough tables. Bleak atmosphere. Quick service though.

The service is okay. A usual Indian shop. Tables and chairs arrangement can be improve. It was too close arrangements with other tables and arrangements.

Varieties of indian cuisines are available here.Love the briyani and claypot rice(only available on certain time).Price is standard for indian restaurants.Rm7-8 for non veg meal is normal.Restaurant is clean most of the time.Owner is friendly too.U can always see him walking to customers and asking feedbacks whenever the crowd is less.
