This trail was was consider beginner level. Use google maps to find the entry point to the trail. Avoid using waze to the entry point. Wear proper shoes and if can wear gloves if u have soft skin. Alot of climbing to be done too. It can be slippery after a rainy day.

Difficulty level : Moderate One of the most Instagramable spot in KL! Don't missed it! Located about a 45-minute drive from KL city centre, the Bukit Kuari or Rawang Bypass trail will take you through dirt roads, tunnels, and along highway drainage walls with ropes, until you reach a 233m viewpoint. At the peak, you'll be able to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of theΒ Rawang Bypass, which took 12 years to construct, earning its title as γ€ŠThe Tallest Highway in Malaysia》. Also can see the extraordinary Kapur Tree Forest which their canopy looks like broccoli from far. There's also another trail you can take that leads you underneath the bridge, where hikers often frequent to snap photos as well. Not recommended to go during raining season, the stairway can get very slippery. I enjoyed myself during the weekday hike, just to avoid the crazy weekend's crowds.

Wow...one of the fantastic trail close to Kualalumpur. Plenty of roadside parking available before starting the trail but road is very narrow. Trail is even bit steep but thick ropes are already hanged for the hikers use.. enjoy

Sunday morning Sunday hike, if you are hiking lovers here is the place. Not that hard to hike but does take a little bit of skill and stamina to complete the trail. You get to choose short cut, or a complete hike, there is a part that you will have to get into the drain tunnel underneath the highway and get to another side of the hill. Come here early to avoid crowd. Mountain biking place πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Beginner friendly, might need sufficient arm strength holding the ropes to climb up. Featured Scenery: Epic highway, pleasing sky view, tunnel with bats Highly recommend for civil engineers to close study the bridge structures.

Mat the MTB trail builder is very friendly and patience to host us around though we're not pro riders. We understand better the beauty and the hardwork spent on this trail. Beginner friendly + scenic view + soft soil

Having seen photos prior, was slightly anxious. Can i do this? Absolutely worth the drive to Rawang. Not our "usual" hike of merely trudging through trees and vines. Personally, an exhilirating experience which begins with trudging through a short tunnel. This must be the reason why it is not encouraged to go when it rains as water level may rise and become hazardous. What comes after is a slightly steep climb up/down the boulder. No worries as ropes are available to assist in the rappel up and down, if required. Personally found it safer without, as it gets a little tricky when there are several people pulling on the rope simultaneously. The view is absolutely worth the climb! However do be patient if you would like to capture THAT photo with the curvy view of the highway from above, especially during peak hours! Worth the wait for that one memorable shot. Placard provided to help note the location πŸ˜‰ Make your way down if you would like to experience the mini tree branch crossing which has somehow come undone through the many crossings! Walk further along if you for that photo op under the bridge, with view of the tapering bridge foundation. Otherwise turn right under the bridge, to exit. Tips: 1. As reminded by others, proper hiking shoes would be a catalyst to safer and fun experience. 2. Come early as it can get quite scorching hot! 3. Bring sufficient drinking water. Terima Kasih, Nandri, Xie xie ni to the unseen heroes who setup the rapelling ropes, placard and branches for the mini crossing, maintain the trail/cleanliness, to ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone! ✌🏻

We had been submit top of the hills in the month of Merdeka Parade Days.πŸ‡²πŸ‡ΎπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΎπŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ Such a nice breathtaking. It is not easy and yet not too difficult trails. . . U have to submerge within the Calvert underneath to underpass the highway, and always put safety in place during rope climbing used. . . Pls preserve this area and free-away from the debris. πŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸπŸŒ³
