Loved the place! It's beautiful and have plenty of spots for your OOTD shots. Of course, the food is AWESOME! The service? SUPERB! I was there with family on during the New Year for birthday celebration with family. The crew was sporting enough to do a little gimmick while bringing the cake to the table, complete with singing and simple dance. That, really made out day as everyone in the family was happy and joyful! It was a bummer that I forgot to take more photos of the food.

The extensive menu offered a range of flavors, but the standouts were the scrumptious chicken kebab and the delectable kabab eggplant. Yahala's cooking brilliantly captures the vibrant flavors of the Middle East. While the beetroot salad balances sweet beets with a refreshing, creamy fitta. The za'atar flatbread, baked fresh and topped with aromatic herbs, makes a delicious starter. Portions are generous and will satisfy big appetites. Prices are a touch higher than other similar spots, but the quality of ingredients and preparation is evident. After dinner, head upstairs to their hookah lounge. Recline on plush pillows and choose from a wide selection of fruity and spiced tobacco blends, adding to the exotic Arabian Nights ambiance.

Food is awesome but their supervisor and their incharge person's attitudes are down to drain. Its not a problem when you cant explain things properly.. but they have shown their face and chase my staffs away from entering the shisha area. My staffs are all adults and we expected they behave like an adults too. We have paid for over 100 pax yet.. disappointed with this superiors super service. Otherwise the serving staffs are really good and well trained.

I visited YaHala Restaurant - Ampang with my family for dinner and we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is located in a beautiful building with a stunning view of the city. The interior is elegant and cozy, with a mix of modern and traditional design elements. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a variety of dishes from the Middle Eastern cuisine, such as hummus, falafel, shawarma, kebab, tabbouleh, fattoush salad, and baklava. Everything was delicious and well-presented, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The food was fresh and flavorful, with a balance of spices and herbs. We especially enjoyed the hummus, which was creamy and smooth, and the shawarma, which was tender and juicy. The desserts were also amazing, especially the baklava, which was rich and crunchy. The restaurant also has a nice selection of drinks, such as lemon mint juice, adeni tea, coffee, wine, beer, and cocktails. We tried the adeni tea, which was refreshing and aromatic. We also had some shisha to go along with our food. We had a great time at YaHala Restaurant - Ampang and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Middle Eastern food or wants to try something new. It is one of the best restaurants in Kuala Lumpur that offers authentic and high-quality food in a luxurious setting.

YaHala Restaurant: A Culinary Delight Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ YaHala Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience, where freshness meets flavor. The food is a testament to their commitment, baked to order and served with precision. The juicy chicken, heavenly creamy hummus, and the mutton baked bread create a symphony of tastes that leaves a lasting impression. The unique touch of having waiters cut and feed you the first bite adds a fun and interactive element to the dining experience. However, be cautious if you have a jealous wife, as the engaging service might spark unintended reactions. This review is based on my personal experience and perspective. Individual opinions may vary, and the enjoyment of the restaurant's offerings depends on personal taste and preferences.

Great food, service, and music! It was my first time here, and I came with my friend around 11:30am and managed to get a parking spot outside the restaurant. Otherwise the parking is rather limited. We ordered mixed grill, the famous lamb rice, and humus! The food was great and the grilled meat and rice was very flavorful from the spices. I would definitely come back here again. Thank you Yahala restaurant.

First of all, this place is beautiful. Nice decor and interior. It is so cozy, that you can chill for 2-3 hours. I had daoud basha (meatballs in tomato sauce) Simply delicious. Portion was good enough. For shisha, you have to go level 3, this place is very eclectic. Shisha was good, and last long. Service is top notch, waiters here are friendly and very accommodating. Definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟

One of the best middle eastern restaurants in KL. Food is delicious. Portions are big enough to share. Prices are reasonable. The lamb rice is a must order. Deco and seating is comfy and spacious. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is very beautiful. Islamic architecture like in Arabs country. Delicious foods. Drinks are like in Arabs world but not all locals can accept hehe. Parking very limited. Musolla and toilets available. However the toilets are shared for both male and female.

Hubby and I visited for the first time today. Service and ambience were alright, restaurant was clean. The food was very good with generous portions (we had to pack leftovers). We had the mixed appetizer platter, ghanoush yahala, hummus fatah and the fool with cheese. All are highly recommended, great vegetarian choices. We'll gladly visit again! Update on 08/05/2022- brought my mother here for Mother's Day lunch and she thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and service! The lemon mint drink was very refreshing and also had the lamb sid'r as well as chicken with bulgur wheat which were delicious! The appetizers were excellent as usual 👍

Been curious about this place for a while. Finally got to try it. Ordered the kebab. Overall it's just okay for me. There are other Arab restaurants in KL that serve kebabs that are more delicious but for what it is, with their clean and nice ambience, overall Yahala is a nice place to eat with group of family/friends. Perhaps if I were to order their rice dishes, maybe it's delicious and can change my mind. Haha.

Nice ambient, good food and great location for a meet up with friends. Plenty of dishes; beef, chicken, seafood and mutton. There are also western or light platter if you don't plan to eat much. They also have a special section for parties and they can even make special arrangements for small celebrations. Friendly waiters and great services, highly recommended. It can get pretty busy during peak hours so you either come early or make a reservation.

Since my flight was cancelled & had to stay for another night in KL, I decided to give Yahala a try. Beautiful restaurant, great ambiance. I was personally served by Chef Samer with great smile, wonderful service & very attentive. Food was absolutely delicious, large portion too. Tried many Arab restaurants in KL but this one is by far the BEST in town! I am definitely gonna come back & try other food in their beautifully spread menu. 10/10. Kudos to the owner, Chef & service staff! 👍👍 See u again in June!

This place always full. If you call, they will turn you down. Just walk in you’ll grt a spot. Manage to slot in, it was Grrenhouse by Muir. Interior is posh arabic. Many people came for celebration too. Came up to top floor. Shisha and dining area together. Indoor and outdoor. If you have kids, its not really suitable. Foodwise, not the best arabic I had. But, its ok. We pay for the ambiance too!

Free parking , this use to be a Japanese restaurant now became Middle East restaurant, waiter forgot my tea 🫖 and dessert , he didn’t order for me . We had beet root humus starter , the flat bread was fresh and hot , the star ⭐️ of the main dish was the signature lamb rice rm50 per plate (lamb meat was tender and rice was fluffy and fragrant) finally we had Kunafa for dessert . It was not too sweet and just nice . Overall waiter here was attentive and nice

Who always come and only try certain menu.. u guys should try PIZZA.. also not bad… And for HUMMUS LOVER like me😅 u can try em i dont remember the name.. im sorry my bad.. (see photo) btw here the tips: if u buy mineral water, better take the big one.. cz only add rm2 more and u can drink with ur partner.. one small bottle cost rm4, if u buy one, ur friend buy one.. it cost u guys rm8 right? But if not mistaken, big bottle only RM6. And their mineral water is spritzer brand.

Food: The food here is great. The portion is good, and the food is always beautifully presented. Atmosphere: The restaurant is tastefully decorated, and they provide ample space to dine in. The washroom is very clean and well maintained. There are also prayer rooms for Muslims. Service: This is the area that I am extremely unhappy about. There were two incidents that I had with the waiters when I asked them to help me pack my leftovers. On my first visit, the waiter gave me the side-eye when asked for his help. He looked very annoyed with my simple request. On my second visit, the waiter THREW AWAY the gravy and veggies that came with the kebab that I ordered, without asking me first. He returned with a plastic container of very sad and dry looking pieces of lamb meat (pictures provided). He also DISCARDED a piece of bread that I specifically told him to pack. When confronted, he simply told me that he had thrown them away into the bin......like why on earth would you do that? I requested for him to at least provide me with the gravy, but I was told that it was impossible for him to do that. He also forgot to serve us our drinks. We didn't even order complicated drinks. They were just bottled and canned drinks. The waiter had definitely ruined my evening.

Went there for lunch last Sunday. Nice Middle Eastern restaurant. The foods is delicious and big portion. Variety of menu items available to choose from salad, pizza, rice to large mix platter. Sauce is savoury and not too spicy. I like the spices used it their cooking. The restaurant interior is modern and beautiful combination of brown/gold. Outdoor seats available for those who prefers it, musolla/surau for Muslims and the restroom for ladies seems clean too. Parking is just infront of the Yahala restaurant for free, leave your car key for their security to manage the parking space.

Overall it was great. Went there for our team dinner, lots of space on the 3rd floor. It’s an open air space, suitable for those who wanna smoke. Perfect for huge gatherings as there’s lots of seats & long table. The chicken kebab is delicious, very soft & juicy with lots of sides. We tried their seafood which is shrimp tempura as some of my colleagues doesn’t eat lamb, & it’s surprisingly really fresh, light & crunchy we can’t get enough! The Lamb Sidr is also nice, huge portion same as other Arab restaurants. We ate the kunafa after lots of meals & when we’re all full, it’s gotten cold so it doesn’t taste really good but it’s still not bad. Must be better when it’s still warm & fresh so please order it last only when you’re ready to have your dessert. The pizza was great. The drinks are tasty but the portions are small. Prices are quite expensive. Didn’t get to eat at the ground floor area but it’s much more colder, cozier & beautiful compared to the open air space above. Might wanna try their other dishes & desserts next.

EDIT 2 : The restaurant contacted me for a proper resolution which I am grateful for. All is good now. EDIT : Our pleasant dining experience was ruined on the way out. We had paid for our bill during our dinner. 4 adults at RM 105 each. On our way out, we saw on their advertisement board that senior citizens pay RM 45 only. We went to the cashier to check... 2 of us are senior citizens. The people at the cashier just acted blur and just told us to "come back tomorrow". So a pleasant evening was ruined by the restaurant not honouring their commitment to their first-time customers... EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. We don't think we will ever come back again. Original review : First time having Syrian food. Good Ramadan buffet. Very delicious. Not too oily, not too spicy. The desserts are not overly sweet as well. The place is elegantly decorated with Islamic-inspired motifs and design.

Food was great. Meat was tenderly cooked. Bread, hummus and garlic paste was a good start. Though Hummus and Garlic doesn’t match with the GCC/Arab world side but it’s totally fine. We took the Mandi and Kabsa. Mandi came with 3 lamb chaps and Kabsa with a whole chicken. Music was being played but we requested to turn it off. It’s always humble to ask the customers if they would like to listen music or not. Overall, a very good vibe restaurant - good interiors and amazing touch. Will certainly visit again.

Mixed experience with an okaysh ambiance, no waiting time, freshly made items. Madghout and Hummus were great but Kunafa was dry and lacked cream. Adani tea was disappointing as well. Not to mention its quite expensive on pocket.

I had a pleasant experience at this place. It was my first time at this restaurant. I really like the ambience at the restaurant. Food was simply amazing. Couldn't ask for more. Service was impeccable. A shout out to Jamal and his fellow colleagues for providing such a friendly and personalized service. I would recommend coming to this place for a great meal. The only downside is the limited parking at the restaurant. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Cozy place, good arabic food, wide selection in the menu. Parking is limited, may need to park farther away from the restaurant during lunch and dinner time. Price on the high side, expect rm60 to rm80 per head for a decent meal.

Good Arabian meals with family. Parking space are limited but there’s spacious metro parking next to the restaurant with RM5 per entry. Quite crowded on the weekend. Booking well in advance is recommended.

This is one of the best Arabian restaurants I've been to. We ordered Lamb Mazmom, Chicken Mandy, Salon Prawn and their seafood soup. Every dish was very well-seasoned. The chicken and lamb were cooked perfectly, so soft they melt in your mouth. Their sauces and salsa also matched well with the rice and bread. Only downside is there is not enough car park and it is quite packed during lunch and dinner hour.

Delicious arabic cuisine with various dishes and especially the adani tea 🍵 You'll fall in love with their varieties of food and drink, interior design, and the service. I don't wait that long for the food to be served too.

The food was great. I have tried many Arab restaurants and i can say here is the best one. But.. the staff tend to forget your order. I came both during very less people and peak hour. I usually came with 2 person. If i order 3-4 things, they will forget 1 thing to bring. Every time. So you have to keep asking to make sure they didn’t forget.

The meat is cooked very tender, melts in your mouth. I recommend trying Adana Kebab here, I have never tasted such a delicious kebab even in Turkey. Also you should try Maejuga, inside this cutlet there is just amazing cheese. The level of service is good, all waiters are polite, except one. That waiter was rushing us, asking us to order faster because he was tired. This is the only fly in the ointment. Humus was also very good as in Dubai, UAE. We drank Mint tea, it was delicious. We ended up dining with my friend at this beautiful place four times, we loved at all, will go again tomorrow. By the way, we should also note that here the birthday boys are congratulated in a special way. They play a song in Arabic style, all the waiters sing "Happy Birthday", and of course they treat them with a cake.

A premium Arabic restaurant with a premium priced foods. You get what you paid for. The place is really cozy and luxury. The foods are really good, I just love it. The only downside that I could think of was the flies nuisance. But it was quickly handled by the repellant candles. Will surely come back!!

Very delicious lamb sidr. Very tasty mango juice and apple 🍏 juice. Fresh fruit salad. Were there at about 10.45am so there were not many customers at that time. It was on weekday.

  • 5/5 Herlina T. 1 year ago on Google
Authentic Arabic resto with nice ambiance. The food is good especially the lamb hummus & lamb sidr rice & samosas. Should come with family & friends so you can try many varieties of food. The price is reasonable considering the big portion of most of the food.
