1st February - 8th February 2022 Great location on the beach 5* food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner 5* service by the restaurant staff Great service for exchanging money into local currency either by British pounds or Using card. Room - gap between door and wall, Great air conditioning in the room - use door key to operate. Need to improve on the breakfast in the morning. This is what they had: Beans, Eggs, Orange Juice, Mushrooms with onions, Noodles with Onions The hassling by the locals was annoying but thank you to the hotel security who told them to go. The hassling by the workers in the hotel trying to sell me trips while going back to my room or going to the beach. Have to pay for Safe and Fridge. No mats in the bathroom - have to use towels on the floor for shower 250 per hour if checking out after 12pm. ☆Remember to get mosquito cream☆

Great location and the food at both the beach bar and pool bar is amazing. I ate there nearly every day. Rooms are very clean and they have good shower. Staff are very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend and would revisit.

My partner and I had a pleasant stay at Palm Beach Hotel in The Gambia. The hotel's proximity to the beach is a major plus, offering lovely views and easy access to the sea. Our room was cleaned daily, maintaining a comfortable environment throughout our stay. The staff at the hotel were notably friendly and helpful, enhancing our overall experience. Although the hotel provided nightly entertainment until about 10-11 PM, we didn’t engage much with it, preferring quieter evenings. Overall, Palm Beach Hotel is a good choice for couples looking for a beachside vacation in The Gambia, with its excellent location, clean rooms, and hospitable staff.

Nice hotel. Lovely friendly staff. Rooms have air conditioning. TV. Nice shower. Pity it's not in Kololi.

Here for a month. The management and staff are first class do anything to make our stay pleasurable. Highly recommended 👌 👍.

Best hotel on Kotu beach. Rooms could do with refresh and the place a lick of paint. But u get what u pay for suppose 🤷🏽‍♂️

Great staff great location right on the beach you could be in the carribean, great food. Room always clean which is all you can ask for. just remember folks it's Africa and not a 5 star in London, I think people posting possibly negative reviews regarding the accommodation come with the wrong expectations, if the wardrobe door is miss-aligned is that going to really ruin your holiday, come on. One comment alougth nothing wrong with the food a little more authentic choice in my opinion would add to the menu. All in all another great stay.

The hotel and staff was brilliant, I went with my grandson, they really looked after us, made us very welcoming, and couldn't do enough for us ,will give them 5 out of 5 👍👍👍👍

Hotel is ok. But the owners arent! They need to pay the salary of the employees! They are waiting for a very long time. Im gonna contact tui, corendon and other travelagencys! Stay away from this hotel!

We have recently returned from Palm Beach, we have been to Gambia many times but this was our first time here Wowww , what an amazing hotel, we had an amazing relaxing holiday. Location is fantastic right on the beach at Kotu. Rooms are of a good size with lots of storage, great shower and very comfy bed. The staff are absolutely 💯 wonderful, the hotel is very well run by Raj and his mum. We will definitely be returning next season, our new favourite hotel

Loved my stay here! Very friendly staff and management, clean, good food, enjoyed happy hour and events (karaoke, drum show etc) would highly recommended and will come back my next stay in gambia 🇬🇲

Apart from the bathrooms this is a very dated hotel where the electrics need to be made safe and breakfast area needs updating - definitely doesn't meet hygiene standards

Palm beach hotel is ideal for all Central activities, close to the beach beautiful location. Staff are wonderful & friendly.

Loved it here, nice rooms with a great view, no need for aircon (but it is in the room) lovely ocean breeze to keep you cool in the night, amazing staff we was well looked after definitely go back...

I enjoyed my stay here. The only issue was the noise from the bar area. Surprisingly, there were lots of British lager-lout tourists. Did not expect to come all the way from London to Africa for that. Might aswell have been in Benidorm. However, the hospitality, food, beach and rooms were lovely. Beautiful albeit noisy tropical birds.

Wonderful friendly hard working staff. My parents came to this hotel for over 20 years, and have now passed away, i wanted to visit their friends they made there. I was not disappointed! On arrival, the lovely mustafa looked after us. Everyone is so nice, always smiling, and going out of their way to help you. The rooms are very cean, very comfortable bed, a little warn but nothing major. Jalow has been a very good friend of my parents for over 17 years and is still there. He is very well known and is an amazing guy! Raj and his mum are absolutely lovely, very welcoming. Siver man at the back of the hotel is fabulous and always had us laughing as he did my dad! The pool is a very good size and well needed in the incredible weather! The most stunning beach is 1 minute away, and the hotel is in a fantastic location. Activists in the day, and traditional entertainment in the evening. Taiba does tours and taxis at the hotel, which are incredible. we did quite a few and had the most amazing time! We will definitely make this our holiday destination for many years to come, we arrived as strangers but feel we left as family ❤️ THANK YOU RAJ AND EVERYONE AT PALM BEACH HOTEL FOR A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY! Great staff, always smiling.... Rooms are basic but clean and tidy, there's aircon but in the night it's cool enough, would recommend in bringing a light weight blanket as the bed sheet isn't enough. Plenty of sun loungers on the beach or by the pool. Breakfast was very basic but the food you pay for at lunch, snacks and dinner was lovely. Very chilled out place and would deffinately visit again. Yes it's basic and needs a spruce, but the people make it brilliant.

We so enjoyed our stay at this hotel! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming! Everyone smiles! Beautiful swimming pools much appreciated by all of us especially the children. Proximity to the lovely beach great, where you can swim in the sea, and enjoy the food under a sunshade. And the fresh fruit salads are so delicious! Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. There was entertainment nightly but it didn’t disturb me when I had an early night. I’d definitely recommend it and hope to come back again! Food freshly prepared in kitchen for breakfast and scrumptious pancakes we loved. WiFi sometimes down, but otherwise everything worked perfectly. Such friendly people who work there! Early morning bird watching fantastic! And river boat trips enjoyed too. Great place! 😊😊😊
